Brother, I have a problem with the ABS, the light comes on but also the unit does not work. The diagnostic shows a problem with the unit, but maybe I should look at something else before replacing the unit? The vehicle is the vw bora. Thank you very much and be healthy

Do you have to clear the fault code to get abs light off, or does it go off automatically when the faulty sensor is replaced?

I have had it in the past where the light goes off on it's own as you drive. But once the fault becomes non present I always clear the code so it doesn't stay stored in the abs computer.

did you get this sorted as mine has come on also, and i am hoping its the senor. My Cheapo-Matic VAG gadget showed an error code : front divers side ABS sensor.

@@dubsoap6469 there is a brief learning curve when you start using it. Sometimes it's terminology for certain things can be slightly different but the more you use it, you get used to it. All the tablet based autel machines have a similar interface. And can be considerably cheaper if you were looking to get one yourself.

There's no way on this planet that your Abs sensor will come out like that!
I've recently done this job and probably fcuked it up... my ABS sensor light is still on but I did use stupid eBay sensors?

Never rust eBay parts, especially for sensors.
Abs sensors are notorious for seizing in the hubs.

@@MTMMotorServices I've been trying to find a diagnostic tool that can help me I looked up the one that you have and it's all in euros I've also looked at one called isoft but to be honest I'm getting a bit bored because it seems like it's impossible to find the right stuff that works to make the job easy
