Domaine Rossignol-Trapet: Nicolas in Gevrey Chambertin, Combes du Dessus

Nicolas Rossignol speaks about the alluvial fan in Gevrey on which the lower lying village lieux-dits lie, before describing the lieut-dit Combes du Dessus. This excellent village parcel, is situated up slope beneath the chateau at about 290m on about 1m of clay soil over limestone. It provides the structure to the domaine's village cuvée of Gevrey-Chambertin
