- How do you build an Expedition FJ? I've stalked this build since Expo West, and finally got to spend a week with Aaron, owner of The Garage Shop, to find out how the FJ was born. In this interview, we find out.

I can't like this video enough. Probably your best video. This man's success is an inspiration.
Great interview! Aaron was a huge help for us early on in the TAT trip, and is now a close friend and major inspiration. Here’s to the Continental Divide and Expedition SEMA!🍻 Looking forward to running this with these guys and seeing the FJ and Raptor in action again. Hope we can keep up! 😉
Great interview. Can’t wait to see the walk around!
Cool story, but what about the build? 25 minutes and very little on the truck. Maybe a heads-up in the title, like “story time”.
Next week!
Great video! Can't wait to watch part 2
Great job Michael! One of my favorites.
Cool rig! Love the old FJs.
Great story , I really enjoyed it . Cant wait until the walk around video . Keep up the great work .
Great interview. Dude is a legend.
Hey Buddies, I love your shop and everything else on your video. I do similar stuff in Western Australia and I can just feel you guys in my vanes.. keep up the good work and Go Strength to Strength.
Enjoyed spending time with you.... It was fun preparing these two amazing vehicles for the trip.....
That was incredible - great storytelling! Looking forward to seeing the walk-around! 👍😎 ~Maverick
Fantastic interview!!! Very interesting guy...
OK Mike you just made me want you guys on MAVTV this should be your primer to send over as it is just as good of content they have. I know it might mean more time overlanding and less time at work but you could live every man's dream of playing to make money.
Loved it!
Epic I have been following them since they helped out trailspintv, awesome down to earth good people
What a great interview.
I recognize this shop for the TrailSpinTv youtube channel. Great stuff
Super Cool
Is there a way to get their routes used (GPS or GPX Tracks, Coordinates, PDF, etc) for the Oregon Trail, Mormon Trail, Pony Express Trail and their version of the "Continental Divide" Trail?
What a phenomenal interview thanks can I be his next best Bud

I wondered when this would be re-uploaded. :)
Thanks for your patience! I had an audio issue!
Fixed!
👍
Side exhaust and race seats? That's not a comfortable ride. Cool that they drove it to Sema. Would be nice if their was a list of the routes they took.
Those race seats were mighty comfy, and the exhaust surprisingly quiet. Relative to be sure.
I wish I knew as much as this guy has forgotten about fabbing upgrades on a vehicle.
Not sure what this guy was worried about, apart from the chassis and body there is probably nothing that is also 40 years old in this truck... I guess he would be impressed to what we do with original BJ40s XD
yes....uno...
You win!
Dude, you kept asking questions he previously answered. Pay attention. Great story though.
way too much talk, no build details
To much BS
