      I go through virtual, and attendance still matters way too much.
      You weren't there for the live class? Guess you'll have to answer the questions on each page even though it worsens your already severe anxiety.
      You have ADHD and OCD causing you to not be able to pay attention, especially when one of your teachers won't shut up, and also feel the need to perfect every assignment? No, we can't switch your teacher or give you more time.
      Our mandated twice a year assessments that don't actually help you or us stress you out to the point of tears, panic attacks, and unhealthy amounts of coffee to not pass out? No, you can't get out of them.
      Our styles of teaching have differed from past years to cater to a specific type of student making it so you can't figure out what going on and make it so much harder for you to learn? Yeah, no. We won't change it back. We pander to our favorite students too much.
      You have severe insomnia? Yeah, you're gonna have an 8 am class no matter what. And, here me out, it's gonna have to be one of your two least favorite classes of the year! Doesn't that sound fun!
      TW☣️
      You're now at risk for an eating disorder because you have back to back class from 8 am to noon and have barely an appetite because you're deprived of food? Sorry. Can't do anything.
      You're grandmother passed away less then a month ago and you almost threw up anytime you tried to eat or even thought about doing school work so you didn't do it for a week? Sorry, we can't offer anything.

    Honestly, as someone with several diagnosed illnesses, it gets really difficult. One of mine is a degenerative + chronic pain disorder and it has been flaring up more and more lately. I struggle to walk more than half the days now. The fate for a lot of people with it is being wheelchair bound, which terrifies me because I am a very active person and have already been told I will probably be in a wheelchair by 25(I am 21). After about a week you don't really feel it as much anymore, m but sometimes if you make a weird mobe it can hurt. When they put it in is is really uncomfortabel. When the tube reaches you throat you will likely gag and they will ask you to take soms sips of water. After it is in you don't really feel the feed or taste it. You can feel when you flush it with cold or warm water. It feels like drinking but you don't swallow any.

The fluid goes straight through the kidney and his body doesn't hold on to any of it so he has to use a feeding tube to keep him from constant dehydration. He can eat and drink normally as well. But he needs more fluids than he could possibly consume on his own.

I seem to have an allergy to sun. When I go to the beach or get a tan, I get horribly sick, blister. (Sucks, I live in Florida) I keep threatening to move to Alaska.

    I have a case of Mild pectus: Pectus excavatum is a condition in which a person's breastbone is sunken into his or her chest. In severe cases, pectus excavatum can look as if the center of the chest has been scooped out, leaving a deep dent. Its dangerous to have severe Pectus, To fix it you have to Sit with a vaccum (its a sucction cup sucking your bones back to place) for 2 hours everyday for 2 years and you also have to workout everyday till your 18 so it doesnt sink back down Female vaccums are 500 hundred dollars and males are 40-150 and your bones seals at 18 and your bones can be more damaged if you start before 12 so you have to start your pectum routine at 12 and end at 18 to be normal

    • @adidi7789
      @adidi7789 2 роки тому

      Definitely. I had a friend in high school with serious health issues, she was in and out of the hospital for months at a time. She was basically a genius, had been reading since she was 3yo, was in AP physics, math, robotics, what have you, but she still didn't get to graduate with us because of her attendance. It was bs and everyone knew it, but that didn't change anything. I didn't keep in touch with her, but I heard from someone else she got her GED, so at least there's that. Still an awful system.
