@@S00tgremlin Crohn's disease is a long-term condition where the gut becomes inflamed (think of your tunny as a sheet of glass, its vey fragile)
The main symptoms of Crohn's disease are stomach aches and cramps, and blood
The main treatments for Crohn's disease are medicines that reduce inflammation in your gut and stop it coming back. Some people need to have surgery.
The exact cause of Crohn's disease is unknown. It's been linked to things like your genes and a problem with the immune system.

About the one with the girl in the wheelchair: that college needs to be more accessible. There is a kid (I’m in elementary) who uses a wheelchair at my school and students are usually not allowed in the elevator but they allow him because of his wheelchair. There needs to be more disabled friendly amenities at that school. Edit: the girl in biology made my day she’s hilarious even though she can’t control it I see comedy in her future.

I worked at a McDonald's for a little bit and a family came in and placed their order. I was rotating between the drive-thru window and making drinks, and i was serving a lot of coke and sugar-free coke. I got a bit confused between the different bags, so I asked the customer at the window if the order I made for them was right. It was a family, and the mom immediately told me they all ordered sugar-free coke since her son was diabetic.
I apologized profusely and dumped all the cokes and made extra sure that none of their cups were regular coke. My manager busted my ass for not paying attention and wasting beverages; I told her I would rather throw away their watered down shit drink than to potentially send a kid to the ER.
The family were extremely nice and understanding and thanked me for making 100% sure that I wasn't gonna harm their boy.

There is one taco bell here that likes to replace zero sugar sodas with full sugar ones when they run out of the zero. I bitched on a local fb group once when my sugar went up to 480. I filed a report through corporate also. But everyone in my town in this fb group jumped on me and told me it was my fault for not checking, asking why I would ever drink anything but water. Why couldnt I tell the difference. I was absolutley shocked how ugly people were.

I was in the ER and they thought I was crazy because of my diagnoses of anxiety and OCD as well as the fact that my MRI turned out normal. Of course I was extremely nervous because I didn’t know i would ever feel my hands again (I did), so of course I wasn’t thinking straight! I had two panic attacks while I was there! I have a lot of things that match up with gastroparesis (except the opposite of weight loss but instead weight gain which can also happen) and it’s a living hell especially towards my bowels and stomach. I’m constantly having food come back up (I do my best not to throw it up because I don’t feel like cleaning up a mess) and the pain I get makes me double over and I have the problem too where I can’t go and I either have no hunger or get full fast (but this is bad because I’m a person taught to eat all of their plate or at least most and so I literally gorge myself even when feeling like death) and you wanna know what my doc said? Take miralax. Even after I explained all my symptoms and that miralax does not work for me. So now I just feel like a fraud with all my problems and it’s really affecting me. And I just know that I can’t be fixed

Hello, "fake spotting" is very harmful to the disabled community. It is much more harmful than anyone who could be a "faker". The whole concept of figuring out if someone is "actually disabled" or not leads to strangers thinking they are entitled to random disabled people's medical information just for them to exist in the public. I have yet to meet someone who is disabled who hasn't been accused of faking or for "being disabled for attention". I know you probably didn't mean any harm so I hope this helps :)
