I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience.If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
The issue is people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt. Ideally, advisors are reps for investing jobs, and at first-hand encounter, my portfolio has yielded over 300% since 2020 just after the pandemic to date.

I do believe that what you are talking about is just FANTASY!! I do wonder which Bank did lend you money (at least 45000 pounds) if you had no job and no guarantee to back the loan up??
Second, where did you get the money from to redecorate and maintain you apartment? If you were working where di you find the time to redecorate the house by yourself? I say so because I am a person doing for real what you claim here (buying and selling back properties at higher price than you bought for them) on youtube and I can tell you that is not that easy! such a nice and aspiring career, i wonder i can also do it in hk 🤣🤣 but hk has much more restrictions (on flat subdivision and mortgage) and it is too pricy to start such projects (without net rental income) 😂😂 james, may i know is it difficult for a foreigner to start projects like urs without frequent visits in UK? will u recommend me to start investment on buy-to-let or HMO if it's my first time to enter the UK property market, e.g. liverpool ?
