While Chester's death was absolutely devastating, let's not forget how much of a beautiful person he was. I like looking back at old interviews; it brings back good memories of when we had him in this world. I'm glad we had him here, even for this short amount of time.
He was so genuine with so much hurt. He didn't have anybody's but these boys from this band
Mike and Chester are such humble guys, whom you can tell don't take anything for granted (unlike so many celebrities today). You can tell they're still those kids of the late 90s and early 2000s at heart - all that's changed is their appearance and age. There really aren't a lot of people like Shinoda and Bennington, and everyone else in the band as well. Such a unique and lovable group of people...
That moment when Chester is talking about the time they became succesfull and he had family problems mixed with stuff from his childhood, you can see how concerned about him Mike looks. I'm pretty sure was remembering that time and how difficult it was for all of them... And then at 17:38 Chester mention "So the band came and helped me out" and you can see that small but honest smile on Mike's face. It's exactly the little, simple things like that what shows the friendship between them the most. I love it.
Violet Raven it's so sad to read that now knowing that this time Chester lost his battle and they couldn't help him. rip chester
Rip
In the last interview with Chester (before he passed), there's a moment where Chester talks about his depression, and Mike does the same thing. And throughout the interview, Mike is constantly trying to - sort of - "save" Chester from that topic, but Chaz keeps diving back into it. Mike has always been such a Mama Bear when it comes to C. He wanted to love and protect Chester from all sorts of things. Honestly, Mike is such a wonderful human being. He is the best role model - and exactly everything Chester could have ever needed in a best friend. And, of course, the rest of the LP family were incredible with him, too.
But, I just always loved how much Mike paid attention - and how aware he was - of Chester's mental health / state. It's something that you can see throughout the years, in any interview, whenever such dangerous topics are brought up. It's genuinely so sweet to see how much Mike cared.
Mike is always so concerned in all the shows about him. You don’t see this reaction on other band members.....
ive noticed in several interviews with both chester and mike, mike just has this undivided attention towards chester when chester is talking. it really shows how amazing of a person mike is all around as a person
17:10-17:12 is that moment that I LOVE in these interviews where Chester liked to look at Mike for reassurance and support. ❤️ I miss Chester so much. 😭
Can't believe he's no more. I just hope he's in a better place. 😭
Ami transformers e eder gaan shinechilam
:( so sad.
Let go of hope. Know it 💓😉
I feel like Chester Bennington is not straight does anyone notice that the way he talks is kinda soft it gives me a hint that he’s not Straight, that’s probably the main source of his depression, cuz he’s tired of hiding his true sexual orientation from the public, that’s just my observation and guess. *chill the heck out before u cuss me out!!!*
@@sup7738 dude he had kids and a wife . Just because how he speaks you make an assumption that he’s gay? I don’t know of any gay vocalist who scream like he could.
I love how honest Chester was during this interview.
He struggled, he fought for decades.
He's missed.
My heart goes out to the band, the family, friends and fans.
linkin park has helped me through so much shit. can honestly say I wouldnt be who I am today if I didnt get to grow up listening to them all these years
+Nick Kastellanos (TheMatrixWeLiveIn) same holy hell they helped so much all time fave band ever
+Nick Kastellanos (TheMatrixWeLiveIn) it's so great not being the only one who feels like this. I have been a fan for twelve years and they have help me a lot. They saved my life at a certain point.
True man :) lp helps to get over all types of shit happening in life
+Nick Kastellanos Same here dude :) Specifically "A Thousand Suns" helped me get through a really tough time in my life. Not everyone's fav LP record I know, but damn did it get me through some shit.
Michael Basili He doesn't want to break the habit
They are such genuinely good, sweet and humble people, these are the kind of people we need more of.
Good men. Honestly explaining whats going on in their life and in their heads
Need more people like them
Mike is like the person who take care his bandmate, but Chester is so niiiiceeee... Miss him a lot
Chester was such a godly soul
And mike is so full of shit
Chester wanted to be a ROCKSTAR and that he was and is. Little did he know that he would be our ROCK😢
Chester Bennington talks like great people .. he talks about the future .. "Timeless music .. instead of era specific" .. He was a great musician .. He is a legend .. He and all of Linkin Park .. They are all legends
Chester "I want to be a rockstar" RIP 😭
R.I.P Chester. Thank you for making music. We will never forget your work.
July 20th and August 20th are the hardest days for me. Two people I looked up to past away on those days. July 20th chesters life ended and August 20th my dad's life ended. Strangely back on August 19th, 2014 I finally met chester bennington at Jones Beach New York. I shook his hand as he sang one step closer. If you haven't seen video of that night go look it up. Chester did the ice bucket challenge with his kids on stage. Chester and the band had no clue how important that night was. The next morning my mom told me my dad lost his battle with cancer. I miss both of them and I won't ever forget them.
They sound creative even when they speak. You guys are the best. Grew up listening to u
So did I and I'm a big fan but their latest song is trash
Evan Godbee and so is your comment
What a well thought out insult Marco. Got any other genius comments?
That would be it for today
Evan Godbee heavy and battle symphony are awesome
Some people have a super human ability to touch others in ways that are unexplainable. Chester is in that category, along with Chris Cornell, Jimmy Hendrix, and Prince. Just to name a few. RIP Chester, your lyrics and influence will live on forever. ✌
Although I'm still deeply sad, it's good to know that the band helped Chester going through tough times also.
It's hard to hear Chester speak knowing he's gone. Fuck.
Thank you for being the soundtrack to many of our childhoods and still making music for us adults who may be going through similar struggles. The World won't be the same without you, rest in peace Chester.
You can just see how much they care about each other. Mike must still be so heart broken 💔 I know I am.
about LP it is a timeless band and it is a part of my and our lives . I started listening Lp when i was 12 and i must say that this band it's music is so clean, so much connecting to live and they are honest good guys who are just playing on hard work and talent .Lp will be all time fav
23:12 I really really really love to see Mike and Chester appreciate and love each other ❤

M22k 💜
One of the best bands ever.
The man asked his boss if he could try "it" out and come back if it didnt work..........That is respect. Awesome dude. I miss you man.
You can just see Mike loves him so much, I just can't..
so many times he bullied Chester. I agree with u.
I feel like Mike and Chester are SOUL FRIENDS. They just seem very comfortable together.
Thank you for your honesty. ❤️🇨🇦✝️💜 God bless you all, tough road ahead but you will reach Millions.
ONE MORE LIGHT IS TOUGH TO LISTEN TO. sorry 😢
I think they are very compatible. Mike is an enfj and chester was an enfp. I am an infj and almost every close friend I ever had was an infp. Although different in many ways, in the way we look at things in life, we have similar values and are idealists. All four mbti personalities I mentioned are idealists are very caring, empathetic, creative, future oriented.
Amazing people with amazing talent, it is you Chester Bennington. Rest in peace, Chester. Love all your songs! Your music energized me everytime whenever i want to start my day.
Chester not letting mike to talk 😂😂 RIP DEVIL SCREAMED MAN REST PEACE
I've been a LP fan for around 6 years now. Started when I was 13. I remember just watching their interviews trying to get to sleep because, it sounds cliche at that age, but I was very suicidl. Couldn't sleep. Had no emotions but sadness. Been diagnosed with PTSD from my childhood. Linkin Park kept me going. They kept me powering through and I'm determined to live my best life and make Chester proud. And I'm legit gonna go book myself in for another Chester tattoo tomorrow because I feel low again and I want a reminder of him and to keep going.
Look at a way they're sitting.
It's so funny.
R.I.P Legend
Like mirror images of each other
RIP Chester 💔😢
RIP Chester :( :( :(
I like heavy,Battle symphony,and good goodbye
After 20 years, it really feels like losing a good friend. I was 13/14 when Hybrid Theory appeared in Germany. With Linkin Park, times became wild 😅 Even though it was difficult at home, Chester was with you. And you’ve felt better because you’ve heard in the lyrics but especially in his voice: you are not alone.
It's ridiculous how much I freakin’ miss him. I've never had problems with depression or anything like that. But now my heart is so heavy that I can feel it.. never felt this before. A piece of it went with him. Until we rock again.. 🖤
Rip chester. My prayer and blessings go with you. 😞😞😞
How long is Linkin park together ?
Just love Chesters voice, so pleasant😊
3:55 That laugh breaks my heart, I miss you Chazzy💔 Hope you're in a better place and you can sing with your angels 😇😔

I really love you guys! I hope you know how important you are for many people in the sense of giving the feeling to be understood and give hope again, when everything just seems to go wrong. Greets from Germany
Rip my dude
system of a down needs to watch the last ten minutes of this.....a great band needs to be a band and not a couple of single artists running the show
Chester, Dead By Sunrise and Mike, Fort Minor

So so miss him. He was a genius
Mike to star in Iron Man 4!
Wholesome. RIP Chester.. love you both
LinkedIn park was a great band that energized the new era of music and has brought back good memories of Chester and the rest of the band. RIP Chester you will always lighten our lives.
I think Chester has the vain on his forehead from screaming so much😂
I get that even while just talking I don't think that's so....
Angelina Jolie has a huge vein in her forehead. Sometimes, they airbrush it out. Just sayin.'
We all have veins in our forehead😂 it just depends on the thickness and age of your skin for them to be visible
I love you so much ❤️ CHESTER!
23:12 aww
I love their music
Chester 🖤 we miss you like crazy.
Mike :')
Chester 💔 RIP
I feel like committing suicide sometimes also. Life’s been very hard lately. Rip Chester.
DON'T
Hey I'm late but DON'T

R.I.P Chester
Like these guys. Rip Chester
Formaban un gran grupo ❤️ se les veía unidos
almost 10 years later, Mike hasn’t aged at all
I will never understand why people like him commit suicide. Of course I could never understand the demons that he faced, but when you look at him from the outside everything looks perfect. He has a successful band, a wife, six kids, fans, money. How can you leave that? How can you end your life like that? Was that how much your life was worth? Was that how much you loved yourself? For every problem there is a solution. Suicide is not the answer. Like I said before, I don't want to sound like a hater. I love this man so fucking much. It's just sad that he did it. Fuck the reason why he decided to do it. Life is beautiful. Without sadness we wouldn't know what happiness would feel like. Don't give sadness the chance to take control of your life.
I couldn't say it better. It's so true... Suicide doesn't end the pain. It just passes it onto someone else - in this case: his fans.
I don't believe he killed himself. I've watched so many interviews of him the past year and he was happier than he's ever been. He was working in the studio and everything. It doesn't add up. I don't believe him nor Chris Cornell committed suicide. Chris Cornell had a charity fighting pedophilia and child trafficking. It had something to do with this and that "Pizzagate" scandal that has been "debunked" (more like covered up). As soon as he died his website was shut down (like his wife couldn't have ran it, or someone in the organization). I believe Chester also knew about whatever Chris had found out, and being close friends with Chris along with being a victim of pedophilia himself, had planned to expose what Chris was hindered to. He dies on Chris Cornell's b-day!? Give me a break... Neither one of these guys would have killed themselves, they had families and were devout family men, I don't buy it for one second.
Jake Walters i dont believe either. his wife have type something about chester death on twitter but later she delete it
We might say that he has everything but watching various interviews made me realize that his life is much more complex, he had to change and evaluate everything about his life to get where he is. He has dealt with a lot of deaths of people close to him, physical injuries that hinders the plans of the band, childhood trauma, fans and critics that always complains about the direction of the band with some even calling them "sell-outs", family responsibilities on parallel with his gigs, I guess the pressure has become too much especially for sensitive types like Chester who cares too much about a lot of things that he doesn't have any control. He doesn't have any breathing room I guess and he might also be tempted by his past addictions like alcohol given that there's a half empty bottle on the scene. It's a combination of brain chemistry and environmental pressure, the death of Chris Cornell is probably the final nail in the coffin, for someone that Chester sees as a role model to give up then it's a domino effect.
Elina Amfer and his family too. :(
For everyone who loves Chester voice and what he has done with Linkin park group I recommend new album of Grey Daze - Amends which is my favourite right now. Masterpiece of hard rock new stall genre music. Very dark unfortunately as well but it only shows vocalists was already struggling with his depressive disorders since teen-age over 23 years ago and he has fought this for 20 years until finally given up 3 years ago. All his old songs remastered are his original lyrics showing his fight with himself started 20 years ago. "Sometimes", "syndrome", "in time" and "souls song" are about struggling with life on the edge. Than he got better for a while only with LP.
Mike 💗
Rip Chester 😖😖...can't believe that u u jst gave ur life away
Best buddies
RIP Chester 🌷
