Lori, I love, Love, LOVE your video; I will be binge watching until I can catch up with your latest episode. I have all my overdyed flosses on rings & hanging in stackable plastic bins (meant for hanging file folders) and I am sorely tempted to unbobbinate my entire DMS collection and put them on your Threadmilk floss drops. My grampa had milk cows and used milk caps similar to these when bottling his milk. Great memories of years past! Thank you for sharing your stories, WIPS, finishes and inspiration.

Thanks for your flosstube. We have so many things ins common. I was raised in south eastern Idaho I, too, was a 4H girl, only in sewing. Our state fair was in Pocatello. I live in Provo now. Your comments about thread were very informative. I have just started back into the cross stitch world. I loved seeing all the pieces you have done and the samplers you are currently working on. Best of luck to you in your new adventures.

Your storage idea for thread is very nice. I love how the colors look so pretty when they are hanging together for a knitted project. Very nice start for your floss tube.
Great flosstube. Interesting history and hope you keep showing your beautiful stitching. I have not put my thread on any drops yet, they are in plastic baggies. As I am fairly new to stitching again, that is the way I used to store them years ago and now I need to modernize🥰

Love your thread storage and gauge. Nancy Drew gave me a life long love of mysteries. You will live Lancaster when you get there! I am from Maryland(live in Texas) but had never been to Lancaster until my mother in law started taking me due to my love of quilting. I also went down the genealogy rabbit hole.
Loved your first video. I have used miles of thread,been stitching for 45yrs and still love it.

Our lives our thread -ed together. I too lived in Quincy, 1991-1992. I loved the community so kind, and beautiful. The 4th of July on the River Front was so beautiful, maybe my favorite in my whole life. I enjoyed your flosstube. Thank you for taking the time to share your passions with us.

Recently stumbled upon flosstube when looking for a tutorial and now I’m happily pulling out projects that sat in my project basket for 20 years. So glad to be back in the hobby. What a great first flosstube! Your short tutorial on pulling thread may have been craft style changing for me. Thank you for sharing. I was just in Quincy on the search for linen, none was to be found. Sad day. 😂. What I would give to have a needlework store nearby to shop in person.

The milk tops are so reminiscent of my childhood. I have a pile of hand dyed that need organizing, soooo if I don’t win you’ll still be hearing from me! Even if I do too. I’ve moved a lot too and enjoyed hearing all the places you’ve lived. Keep stitching!
