"Men treating women like objects and discarding them." A good point. I think this is referred to as "pumping and dumping" by many dating coaches. It should not be a practice that Christian men engage in.

@@MaxPowers2.0 I speak from a Christian perspective because I'm a Christian who is listening to 2 Christian guys talk about dating. My assumption is that most of the people here are also Christians. If you are not one then when I suggest that Christian men should not "pump and dump" that will not mean anything to you.
Additionally, do yourself a favor and read "The Power Elite" by C. Wright Mills (now every race of men can join). The top business and political men in the world are all "nice guys". By nice I mean mainstream (a public life of "pumping and dumping" will disqualify you from such positions). By nice I mean that you don't see men like Barack and Bill out here publicly living and promoting a "pump and dump" lifestyle You can't become a Barack or Bill without being in the mainstream. They're not "2 exceptions". They're just the high profile ones. The Corporate world and political world are filled with lesser known men who are currently responsible for creating laws for you that you will have to obey (or else). If that's finishing last then sign me up!!!!!!

Nah, its just to prove a point that feminazis are a bunch of hypocrites. If there is such a thing as “toxic masculinity”, there HAS to be its equivalent on femininity, right? But no, that can’t be true, otherwise they’d admit they CAN be evil, which to their mind, that CAN’T be possible, whamen are such ANGELS, right?
“Toxic masculinity” is nothing more than a stupid term made to push this one-sided narrative that men are bad. Yes, all feminists-feminazis (because there is no real difference) believe all strong men are bad and rapists-in-the-making and that’s why terms like “toxic masculinity” are just terms to reinforce their narrative.
From my part, I don’t believe being a strong, dominant and aggressive man is toxic and I’ll continue being that until I fucking die. Peace.

Masculinity and femininity are just terms to define how we typically raise boys and girls and which kind of behaviour they will then develop (probably). It's just two categories, it's a model you can use to organizie and talk about toxic behaviour. Just because you often see a certain toxic behaviour in women it doesn't mean it is toxic femininity and vice versa. This conversation should not be about who is worse or who is the true enemy. Both men and women can have toxic behaviour and the categories just help to talk about where they come from (and with that I mean society and how we nurture children, not biology).

If toxic masculinity is so bad, then why do girls like being bad boys first and then when things are slowing down, they try to go for the nice guy last? That sounds like toxic femininity to me causing that. Toxic masculinity does exist, but it doesn't affect people as much as you think. There are always going to be toxic men in the world as much as toxic woman. Both sides play into the negative role a little bit.
If toxic femininity does not exist, then why do girls feel pressured to wear tight jeans that makes them uncomfortable to move around? Why women have to wear the tightest and most exposed clothing in order to validate the beauty? Why do women spend hours in the mirror to put on makeup because they don't feel beautiful with the natural beauty? Why do girls fight more than men and hold grudges that last forever? Why do girls gossip and always feel the need to be in every single person's business? Why do they feel that day have to demand that got to pay for everything, because she feels like she's the prize? Why does she feel entitled to have full custody of the kids and the mom and demand child support end alimony from her husband, when she should have her own job in her own money? Why she feels like a woman is never wrong no matter how she feels and negatively react to things? Why does she feel like she can hit a guy but the guy can't hit her or you'll go to jail? Why she feels like she can end a relationship whenever she wants and suffer no consequences and move on with her life with a new partner knowing that she never was invested in the relationship in the first place? Why she feels like she should have men approaching her and giving her the dream of marriage and kids? Why is it okay for women to have a platform to bash and complain about men, but and then men cannot bash or complain about women or they'll be cancelled? Why is it okay for women to be empowered to express their feelings, but consider men weak when they express their feelings and emotions? Why is it wrong for men to look and think of a women sexually, but women can exploit themselves and think of themselves sexually? Why is it okay for women to have equal opportunity and income as men, but they do not share the equal responsibilities financially as men? Why is it okay for a woman to depend on a guy and be broke, but guys cannot be broke and depend on a woman financially? Why are media outlets and sales products always geared more towards women then men? Why only a happy wife equals a happy life? Why are there more women as teachers which help women and little girls graduate more than men and men are dropping out at a higher rate causing men to not have higher-income jobs? Why is it taught that it's okay for men to cater to women, but it's wrong for women to cater to men? Why is it important to have a feminist group, but it is wrong to have a men's right group?
both men and women should have groups that empowers them without making the other sacrifice something. We both need masculine and feminine energy and not misuse them to dominate the other oh, that's when it becomes toxic. But honestly I think some women just need to stop complaining so much about something that they don't know much about or pay attention to , they keep getting in their feelings and being offended over everything and never try to reflect on themselves. Even in the Bible it says do not let your heart to see you for a good reason. And this old man is being toxic and being abusive, then simply leave him. If he's making it difficult for you to leave that you stopping you from doing so, then get the authorities involved, it's not difficult in this day and age.

When it comes to toxic masculinity and femininity, I see it as nothing more than a gender war between men and women for human superiority. One side thinks that toxic masculinity is an evil and the other thinks that toxic femininity is an evil. It's based around who wants to be right in society more, who wants to be privileged and entitled more, and who wants to have seniority more. This is what's destroying the sanctity of men and women socializing with one another. One wants to use anger and hate on another and boast to the world that they're superior above the masses. I just wanna steer clear away from the toxicity of our society. What I am seeing from toxic masculinity and femininity is both men and women getting set to spill each other's blood from their bodies. This world has been stripped to its core enough to have the force of hate control their lives.

There is no one way a man should talk or behave and there is not a specific way a lady should behave or speak or interact with the world. I see it more as when someone says “men get harassed too” when talking about women getting harassed. mothers enabling bad behavior by "over nurturing"
fathers enabling bad behaviors by over protecting
negative result of negative behaviors = toxic
female who lies and tricks him into raising a child that isnt his
male who beats and overtly abuses his significant other
negative as a result of toxicity turned inward
female self harm and self abuse
    male risky behavior and aggression
Both men and women attempt suicide, but men tend to die from it at higher rates due to choosing more fatal methods.

I'd choose to view it as gender expression more than it is sexual expression (gender has influence on sexuality, but sexuality has no influence on gender, sexuality is part of gender identity, i.e. gender reveals itself sexually, sometimes- an opinion). And sometimes you'll find that there's really no strict polarity betwen the two energies; they coexist in spasetime, therefore, they have influence into one another(one has no sense without the other). But still, in the end, all of these concepts are merely constructs that channel the being (soul) institutionally- the soul whose worth is greater than the conception of what societal, political and religious ideas deem to what "being" truly is.

  • @bryangosling2238

Yeah, but I would like to add or even ask, if both masculinity and femininity are within both genders. Cause you mention before that some female's express traits of toxic masculinity and femininity almost at the same time, but idk if you know or maybe I missed the video, but some men do also display Toxic Femininity as well cause how the major shift in society and cultural changes has influenced and impacted the way Modern men think or feel, I have seen or understand that kind of mentality being pushed among asian culture in particular, when observing how Asian Men are portrayed in media sometimes and how the society functions as Asian men being more submissiveness(viewed in western culture) or rather "Obedience"(viewed in eastern culture). So I think there seems to be an unhealthy mixture of toxic Masculinity AND Femininity within all the genders and causing the major factors and issues we have today. I think it is more diverse now, complex and isn't as one sided as it probably was in the past and more Nuance involved, despite people trying to take the Nuance away out of over simplifications.

This is all wrong in my opinion. Problem is that this concept is not well defined. It is far too open to interpretation and on ones own personal experience and exposure to the opposite sex. It would be far better to take the "masculinity" and "femininity" out of it.
If men can be toxic to other men (bullying, braggin, etc), then isnt it just exibiting toxic behavior in general. And wouldnt women doing the same thing simply be considered toxic? We have overcomplicated this because feminism has decided to make men the vilian and an obstacle to their cause.
If you go down this road, men can label toxic femininity as women using their sexual nature to manipulate and dominate men. This would be via the way they dressed, carried themselves, various forms of flirtation as well as exploiting themselves to gain things from men. The reason no one wants to go down this path with the definitions is because it goes against the feminist ideal of women should be able to express themselves in ANY way they choose. Even if it is at the expense of men. We know that they do not believe the inverse is true. This is where the arguement falls apart and i refuse to take the idea of toxic "masculinity" seriously.

I also see a lot of toxic femininity on streaming platforms like twitch. Often you will see women on there who will abuse (young) low status males who may struggle socially (possibly even mentally) by luring them into their streams through wearing very little, very tight clothes and combine it with provocative camera angles (preying on the visual stimulation of males). These "low status" males often struggle socially due to things like their upbringing etc. and suffer from very low self esteem (which in later years often turns into toxic masculinity in the from of violence, due to frustration). Because of their low self esteem they hardly or never approach women outside (in the real world). These Online streams sort of give them a false outlet for their lack of social skills. Through a chat these men can talk to these women/girls. These chats however are often visited by many people and the chance that the abusive female will see your message and respond to it becomes very slim. You can get the attention of the toxic female by giving her money through a donation. By paying a certain amount of money a sound is played and your message will pop up inside the stream, for everyone to see. This will also (no guarantee) grab the attention of the toxic female, who then might respond to your comment.
I feel like this is definitely a form of toxic femininity.

It seems like toxic masculinity is basically bad behavior or negative or undesirable traits. Toxic femininity is having too much of a positive trait such as selflessness or being too nurturing. Toxic masculinity does not claim all masculinity is bad, but it does seem to denote that all bad behavior is masculine.

Lachlan Bell Hey! No I just suggested they cover it, since they’re an all-black panel. I’ve been following them for a while-they mostly discuss interpersonal relationships. But I think they can do better in terms of topics lol

Bruh toxic masculinity does affect black people. Black men cant feel sexualy liberated because of it. They cant feel like they can express themselves without being shamed

Just a clarification, 🎵I'm every woman its all in me 🎵. Ok, can you elaborate further? I mean, many societies have "toxic masculinity" so I don't think its soley a black issue. Tbh the toxic masculinity in the black community can all be dismantled with education. Black guys I hang out with from ivy leagues and black guys back home in my childhood from the projects talk and view things differently. Their not sexually liberated because they are stuck in acting a certain way, they haven't had the travel, education, or diverse experience to think different. Maybe I'm wrong.
