If you are looking for a Hotel the Ledger is good place to stay and for a restaurant Dona Fernanda has great food. If you get a chance try local drinks like Veludo, baobab, or Faroba.

I spent a month there in Bissau after 21 years since I left my country Guinea-Bissau to the US. It was the best vacation ever. I'm sure you will love it.
That part of Senegal 🇸🇳 is Casamance it’s the greenest region in Senegal. The major cities there are Sedhiou and Zinguechor. The west and the north of Senegal are more vibrant than the south, don’t forget to visit them next time.

I think most of the people have not put a feet outside their house... you will find mango growing wild in all carribean countries and most of south america asian and african countries obviously basically everywhere grow mango :)
Senegal is so beautiful. I’m so used to seeing images of Dakar it felt good seeing other cities and areas. I prefer road trips if the journey isn’t too long. If it’s a long journey I prefer flying.

Those mangoes look yummy, bursting full of sweetness. Road trips are preferable where it is safe, otherwise take plane. What an ending filled with suspense. I would hazard a guess to say the delay is over a sum demanded by the Bissau customs which I guess is illegal. You will overcome the obstacle.
I like the road trips, they are very interesting. You get to see alot, the environment, the people and alot more about the countries that you are crossing.
