I’m watching this video after discovering my paternal lineage is in Guinea-Bissau when I took the African Ancestry PatriClan test back in July and got my results back around August.
Guinea-Bissau has the potential to prosper as a well developed country with the right people who is willing to serve the people and improve its economy.
I wish you will visit sao tome. Bissau looks virgin... Needs serious investment.. What is going on.. Kind of place you will like to have a second home, but where the roads.
16:48 looks like a entourage waiting to celebrate the married couples that's Africa to the world divorce is unknown word here in this part of the world
He is a good driver the way Mansa navigates so easily 🚙💨 That was sweet the way you were able to captor the culture and celebrating of the wedding 🎉When you said ciao (Italian for goodbye) he said "eat" or english for chow 😄💦
🤣🤣🤣🤣 ciao is also Kreole
May you as you travel you can also show business opportunities in those areas, interview a few owners like you did with the Nigerian woman in Gambia. It is always nice listening from foreign business owners
Sure, I will do so
When the Portuguese left after Guinea Bissau gained its independence in 1973, it seems the Portuguese took all the road construction equipment with them. Where are the paved roads in the Capital? SMH.
100%, that's where the money has gone to.
The thing tire person. Nice cars, no roads
I have heard that those devilish colonizers did just that.
I like their culture so amazing💪💪
Absolutely amazing 💯

It looks like a protest or lamentation. I guess i was wrong. A wedding! Congratulations to the couple.
That's what we initially thought but the continuation is beautiful
Great video, because it shows an authentic scene in daily life. I am impressed by the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly looking people. Hope, once I get a chance to travel to Bissau and to encounter its people. In the current pandemic situation it`s probably difficult to enter the country and to find an open accomodation.
Wow! That was a very nice episode. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for showing this to us through your lens. How comes many of the roads in the capital city are not tarmacked? And also there are no tall buildings like in many African capital cities. I think the government needs to pull up their socks!
African cultures is so nice 👍🏽 and loved 🥰 waaaw
The Guinea - Conakry embassy in Bissau is at Rue Osvaldo Vieira. To get a visa takes 24 hours and cost 30.000 Cfa you need two passport photos.
Border between Conackry and Bissau is closed.only way to get visa to Conackry is in Dakar
@@AFRICANTIGRESS there is embassy for Guinea - Conakry in the Gambia.
@@pauljones3557 they couldn't help. We asked them even before we embarked on this trip
@@pauljones3557 actually I confused the only embassy that offers visa to Conackry is Mali. So we will have to go to Dakar for a visa to Mali then in Mali get a visa for Conackry
@@AFRICANTIGRESS I just looked there is a Mali consulate in Banjul 26 Rev William Cloe Street. Phone +220 4228433
Silly question, is there power in Guinea Bissau now ? Cause I remember when in went there 13 or 14 years ago there was no power in the country at all due to the war .
Power is better here. Rarely have black out
She is right. In Portuguese it is Tchou...spelled different but same meaning as Ciao!
Oh tchou. Yes
I think you mean txau, its a slang, Adeus is the casual.
@@hazel250 Sorry for that. My spelling may be from Brasil.
The Portuguese correct spelling is TCHAU, Ciao, if you're an Italian, nevertheless the same pronunciation. Greetings from Vermont,USA.
@@robertovieira-barbosa1790 Good catch!
Flashy cars on terrible roads WOW
Bissau looks like our local shopping centre deep in the villages of Western Kenya. What does the government do with all the taxes they collect? 🤔
Yeah good question. The cashew nuts money too is a lot
My dear I don't know wat is wrong with African Leaders to develop their Nations
