I understand it's better to face the drum and dance with the flow, rather than stress yourself with criticism, and blame the drum. It's obvious, what is truly wrong, with the situation. I blame the neglect on insecurity, issues which have caused so much lack of attention to community cohesion, and utilities for effective governance. This is unbelievable in 2024.

Well, an electric life-saving boats cost around five hundred pounds, and the community should have atleast one hundred or more, just thinking that a fishing business should be top enterprise in this zone due to vast water supply. Time to commence posting advanced water boats and jet rides in this communities that are subject to flooding, without alarm system, or control from the ministry of water management. UK, under the leadership of lord David Cameron, implemented the restructuring of the thames, water channel flow, and further extensions of the British rail through a new project consigned by the conservative party. The thames water was badly blocked by old sewage droppings into the themes water. However, it didn't cause any environmental disasters, or ill health, and grizzly odours, emanating into the air. So far environmental cleanliness as improved in London.

The situation is heartbreaking and urgent action is needed.

As I am speaking now, we are mourning the loss of our relatives, brothers and sisters😢 with some not even having their bodies recovered😢 The flood continues to devastate other areas. As you mentioned, Adeola, there are many reptiles in the water, including some that escaped from the zoo and others brought by the flood, like crocodiles and snakes.

The problem with African countries and same with mine (Cameroon), is the disbursement of funds for projects by the government with no follow up. Imagine a faculty in my state university with a skeleton structure for years with efforts to complete it. A state university for that matter.

This is how deadly it is if you put incompetent people in government offices . Nigerians may God help us all . And The vice president residence costed more than 20 billion abi? But the DAM in his state was a death trap all this while but no action now he is walking in the flood so Nigerians can see and give him THUMBS UP abi ?
