The Iruka folding bike has similar folding action of that of the Helix folding bike.
I have a Brompton and I feel every bump, will likely send it back. Folding bikes are for everyone, but not exactly everyone. If your environment has lots of uneven ground like pavement stones, poorly maintained roads (my case) or even loose gravel, get used to it or get a full-size bike instead. I would rather cycle with a cruiser or fatbike instead.

I personally think it's not a good idea of having a bike only electric without pedals
Tried Brompton C Line. 3 days later my buttocks still hurt. It's clearly not for everyone and it's obviously usable on paved roads that are in good condition only.
It accelerated very quickly, but I felt it was a bit tricky to steer at low speed.
GI Fly ripped people off on Kickstarter...
Check on the links today 2020 you will find which one is a scam product, mostly are from ChiNa, even they were being packaged as Western products by filming an Ads with Blonde models. PS: I rarely trust Kickstarters as it is a channel for cheaters (not all of them but buy at your own risks.)

@@artemis676 Does the Helix actually exist, though? That folding mono fork looks difficult to implement, but it looks like a contender for best-riding bicycle that can fold, if it is in production (appears not to be at that point yet from the video). The Brompton has the niche as best-folding bike you can ride. The Hummingbird looks good but is eye-wateringly expensive for a single speed bike with no mudguards or rack, and is still large (compared to a Brompton) when folded. I'm not convinced that an A bike is a more practical solution than a cheap folding aluminium scooter, or the Stido better than any other electric scooter.

@@artemis676 So it does- looks very nice, through I note that the website says "smallest fold in its class", which means other 24" wheel bikes like the Airnimal Rhino, rather than the Brompton. (And while "other folding bikes have smaller wheels but don't fold as small", again they aren't comparing to a Brompton, which is smaller than this).
This will ride better than a Brompton, but not fold as quickly or as compactly, and would need some sort of provision for a rack and mudguards (which if combined with a rack and easy wheels could feasibly be permanently fitted, as on a Brompton/Birdy). In the UK, 24" wheels aren't guaranteed to be carried as folding bikes on trains, so mixed-mode commuting might not be as convenient as with a Brompton. They say it will fit in any car, which I'm sure is true, but a package of that size with be tricky to fit into a small boot. My mk2 Birdy is awkward to get into the boot of a 'supermini' type car without removing the parcel shelf, despite being smaller than this.
All in all that looks like a great bike- provided that it meets the requirements of the user. In general, the larger the wheels on a folder the better it rides, but the the less well/compactly/quickly it folds. It just depends where the sweet spot is for the individual.
