I used to do glass, accessory, and Whelan installs years ago. Mostly on Ford trucks. Some of them pushing 800HP and almost 1000 on the torque-O-meter. That much meat in motion never fails to impress.
Alex, please do a semi-slick vs slick race tire comparison, I believe that the slicks are actually worse than the semi-slicks, because they both have the same lateral Gs on all cars, but they increase your braking distance, and PI. Would really love to see someone break it down the way you did with the rally tires.
i noticed the same thing, until you get up to mid to high S1 it doesnt have tremendous benefit, however, you can take a lot more corners flat out with 800 A with full slicks than with semis. it makes a difference against AI not sure about lap time or against human drivers. i know thats not exactly what you were looking for, but it is something ive messed around with a bit a couple days ago

I saw this truck in game and it was one of the first I got to mess around with. Actually spent a bit of time and created my first livery for it as well, a track team one, as if it was a marshals truck 😅

I think the wheelspin can also be attributed to how many gears and in turn how short the ratios are. Also not sure if you outfitted it with a giant turbo or not.
I don't know much about this game, but I know tire width is a thing that helps. Are single wides available for the rears on these trucks? If so that's some massive grip you could add.
Those are only for some tires, like the offroad race tires, the have one massive tire in the rear, but the full width of the duallys still count as one tire if i remember correctly
