@@BillBurnette I've only ever seen one pick that is made from the same material Blue Chip is. I've never used any of them so I'm trying to expand my knowledge. I suppose I'll start with the cheaper ones and work my way up.
How much post-processing do you put on these videos? I keep sharing them and keep getting the old, "It's a UA-cam video and is highly edited, that's not what that guitar actually sounds like, in real life!" answers.
That’s how mine sounds like un mic for shows where the guitar has to be amplified a good mic and very little EQing basically a little mid scooping is what it amounts to
Very little. Our videographer Thien just boosts the levels as needed, though both video and audio end up somewhat compressed by the time they're on UA-cam. Hard as it is to believe, when you've got one of the best session guitarists playing and a great set of mics to record with, things can sound that good!
I hope someday I can own one of Richard’s fine guitars!
Balance and clarity is unmatched
Excellent demonstration of a great sounding guitar.
Astonishing craftsmanship showcased by one of the best
I need this. 😮😮😮
Incredible guitar! Great playing showcasing the depth of that instrument.
Really nice the wood the builders the playing show cased that guitar
Ooh, love this tune. Is it one of Carl's, something he just came up with, or something else?
Sounds great like it was a guitar played everyday for a long time..
Just wow!! Combination of exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful playing. I’m lusting for this guitar but in my hands it would never sound like that….
So gooood
Nice!
In fear of repeating myself yet again, beautiful sounding guitar, beautiful playing Carl 🇬🇧🇺🇦🇺🇸
What pick are you using ?so nice sound .Carl
What kind of picks does Carl typically use?
Dunlop Tortex Flex 1.14!
@@cartervintagebackstage oh wow really? I always thought he used Blue Chip!
Thank you for your response!
The Blue Chips are great- but Dunlop Prime Tones are almost identical for about 1/8 the cost. The Tortex are even cheaper!

@@BillBurnetteI own both but they are different. If I had never used blue chip then I would agree. Prime tones are great for the money, but different.

All the good guitars sound the same.
All good guitars sound good. But side by side you can hear the individual tonal differences.
