Wore Y EDP intense today and was disappointed. The weaker concentrations smell better to me personally. Longevity was no more than 2 or so hours on my skin. Asked if others could smell it and also no. Save the money n this one folks

Aventus isn't worth it since the reformulation that took out the real birch tar. So many frags with similar or identical notes that do it better now. GIT, spice & wood, and virgin island water I have never found anything like them that comes close. davidoff cool water is similar to GIT but lacks depth & tommy bahama st. Barts is KINDA similar to VIW but honestly just doesn't come close enough for me, that being said they are both good fragrances in their own rite

Parfum is not better, it hides the BDC scent under a some weird creamy smell. EDT is so light it seems like it can't project the scent. EDP lasts longer and projects the scent as it should.

I really don't see how explorer is a clone of creed aventus. I mean they have similar notes but I can get way more compliments off explorer than aventus

If u want one go for Dior Homme Parfum if price is no issue this is the king of the designer Iris DNA. On a side note Ralph Club Elixir is a pretty decent take on Iris.
I find it depends on what you are going for. Valentino is a lot more powdery and while it’s good it can be a bit generic of the iris fragrances. Dior is waxy lipsticky and gentleman is more masculine compared the others I find them a bit feminine leaning but still great dior just really well blended it’s hard not to like it so that one is always recommended
Depends on what you like; Valentino is a more powdery darker, Dior is a more lipstick iris cocoa, gentlemen is more woody iris(the most masculine out of the three). Even though it smells nice, I personally find Dior homme intense a bit feminine, my personal favorite is the Valentino out of the three, they all smell good though so sample!

L‘Aventure is definitely not the best aventus clone. Terrible quality, no pinapple and cheap sweet citrus candy note in there that ruins it totally. Best aventus clones 100% explorer for quality smell bit different take and then CDNM for best longevity and closest drydown.

L’Aventure is a killer Aventus clone. I have a bottle of both and I’m not sure id be able to tell them apart in a blind test.
