You are my hero for how organized you are! I'm in Wisconsin. I grew cushaw squash for the first time this year and they are huge! If you like winter squash, they are 2 to 3 times the size of a butternut squash. I have accumulated quite a lot of food since the beginning of Covid. I always canned and froze what I have grown. Now I'm embarking on dehydrating. Thank you for showing us how you store your food. I learn new things all the time.
I just love your pantry and your organization skills. You’re one smart cookie with your bug out location binder. It sounds like you have support from whoever lives with you. One thing I saw about your room that I would add is a couple more racks straight in the middle of the room where Tom was laying. You could have more room to stock more stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Using the binders to organize papers is such a great idea! You’re right about trying out canned goods before going hog wild on canning more. So far I’ve only had a couple misses but we eat them anyway. Thanks for sharing. What would we do without those shelves? 😂
I have printed out recipes so I can grab and go if needed. I like your other binders with specific items listed too. Great work encouraging everyone to do the same thing. I keep things from restaurants too. :)
It’s you! From WCP! I’ve thought of you so often and wondered where you were. When I first started hearing of a preparedness community in 2013 your site was one of the first i joined. I didn’t live close to you, but didn’t want to join sites close to me until I knew what I was doing…didn’t want people to know me who were close to me at that time. I feel like I’ve found an old friend. When you started talking about your bike trip each year I knew it was you. I’m so glad to see you are doing well!
Can you talk to me about the dry canned potatoes. I’ve done with water, but I’m interested in trying dry canned. I’ve been trying to read about it, I’m worried about the jars in the pressure canner with no liquid in them. I guess you have them come out fine?
@@nettiew4267I don't know if there is a video on this channel but.... Lori at whippoorwill holler has done one, Beverly at ourhalfacrehomestead has also done a very detailed follow along one. Hope this helps
Please don’t show what you have in preparation. It’s easy to find out where you are. I’ve watched your videos and you tell them. We know it’s going to get bad. People aren’t ready. Those who are living like no tomorrow at Starbucks; and will remember you. ps. Well done. Blessings 🙏
I saw a tub that said iv infusions. What is that? Do you also have amoxicillin or other antibiotics and if so, where do you buy them. Some people are buying fish amoxicillin now. I want to get my medical prep done now so trying to get input. I was talking to a woman at the fair that works for prep readiness for the government and she carries a prep kit in her car including toilet paper. I never eve thought about that. LOL Thanks.

Reusing the jugs to store all of those little things like the hotel's shampoos, is a great idea. I might do that with mine. Thanks for sharing!
