Love the bits of Germany and Polish pottery around your home. I have a lot of Polish pottery from our time in Eastern Europe. We lived in Lithuania and Poland for 3 and 2 years respectively. When I was a child, I lived in Augsburg, Germany for 3 years. So many beautiful things about Europe.
One of the most beautiful and functional kitchens I have seen. Love all the pieces from the family. Makes it such a warm room having it all around you.
Pops old rake?? What a lovely touch. Omgosh, so cute. I just love your kitchen. I am trying to convince my husband to take out all my cabinets so that I can have an "un-kitchen" I love watching old movies and seeing the old kitchens. They were so functional.
I love love love your kitchen and pantry! It's obvious you put a lot of thought into it. I especially love all the drawers! So easy!! Love the 2 fridges. Makes sense. What a joy to cook in. ❤️
Julie, you are so blessed to have such a beautiful Homestead kitchen. You have everything set up so fantastic. You have done an awesome use of every space. You have made use of that beautiful pantry. This was such an amazing kitchen and pantry tour. Hope you have a blessed day. You are such an amazing person. Thanks for sharing your home with us. ❤️💐🌻🌷
Thank you for sharing. Your kitchen is so beautiful, warm, cozy, welcoming, and homey. Just lovely, so bright and cheerful. Love your great pantry as well.
Julie I love this video. My favorite is your white marble island, I love the old cheese cutting board. Using the rake for kitchen tools is genius! Good for you. It's like watching a Country Kitchen Magazine.
Love it all. I also have two identical refrigerators.. in my kitchen.. our home was destroyed in a tornado in August 2020 and we rebuilt on our 7th generation farm in Northeast Arkansas. I have a very comparative kitchen. I had to smile through out your tour. I also only have lower drawers no upper cabinets. I have two pantries and I have wanted two antique doors that will be out on barn door slides but I have yet to find what I want because so many of the older doors are only 32" wide and I only put 36" wide doors for easy handicap accessible entries. All our doors are 36" wide. We are in our late 50's and made sure everything was handicap accessible. When we built our home 20+ years ago we wasn't even thinking about having everything handicap accessible. Lol but now even our shower has no lip or threshold so we can just wheel in our wheelchairs one day. Lol oh my how the years teach you a thing or two. Again, your home is beautiful and well thought out and I love your antiques and tributes to your family. God is Good.
It's beautiful Julie!!! How did I miss the sink? 🤔🤦🏽♀️ The original owner of our home put a lot of thought into the kitchen and Texas sized pantry which I truly appreciate.
My grandmothers Pyrex bowls are my absolute favorites to use. Feel so grateful for the family heirlooms. Your kitchen is beautiful and I love the fridge idea. We were thinking of having a cold room but I still like the idea of having double fridges.
I love your design of the kitchen. The two refrigerators are something I would have never thought of and also the drawers are a great feature which I do have except under the sink. As we age top cabinetry is not efficient as I have found out. Must depend on husband to get items out of the cabinet when I need it. The farmhouse kitchen is so warm and family closeness look. The pantry is mindblowing "WOW" you do have a mini grocery store and so well stocked with your canning products also noticed pie shell mixture another touch. Thank you for sharing such an awesome video gives us many great ideas. Love all the hand me downs that sets off the beautiful kitchen. God Bless
Definitely my dream kitchen!! It is absolutely gorgeous!! I love how you incorporated antiques and to house family antiques which holds sweet memories!! And I love your pantry!! I just don’t like these modern kitchens! Your kitchen is a convenient working kitchen which makes you want to cook and can!! Let me say you really creative and decorate beautifully!! Everything is light and airy Also welcoming!! Ty so much for sharing your home!!
Hi there just found your channel, I'm in Australia, I have my great grand mothers old mixing bowls, tea cups gravy jugs and some glass wear it's such a treasure to have such beautiful items love your kitchen and the fridge idea is perfect
I absolutely love all the love and touches you have done to your kitchen and pantry. The kitchen is where I spend most of my time everyday. Just beautiful !
Thank you so much my friend! I think the same thing when I watch your channel! I love your decor and antiques. We blend the old and new together in such a similar way. I can’t wait to put that pitchfork into my kitchen! I am going to be doing a video about it and how it ended up with me! I am so excited! I’m typing this whilst sipping coffee from my brand new mug ☕️. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Enjoyed your video today. I agree with Sunny Days, your kitchen is very welcoming. I love the way you incorporated all those items that belonged to your family. By the way, also love the rakes. Great idea. Thank you for sharing your kitchen and pantry. Have a great day/weekend.
Your kitchen is breath taking. It’s like a dream kitchen. LOVE how you repurposed the rakes. So awesome! I’ve been trying to figure out how to build my canned good shelves and think the way you all did yours is so smart using 2x4s and 2x6s! Strong and sturdy! Absolutely love it! Thank you so much for sharing!
It is beautiful, very thoughtful details. I love the antiques incorporated throughout the spaces. I'd be spending all the day in there- joyfully! Well done!
Oh my goodness, how wonderful! I absolutely love it! It is such an inspiration! Your suggestion of all drawers for your lower cabinets is the best! Also your idea of the double refrigerators is so well thought out! I can testify how expensive the the big built-ins are. I have them in my kitchen. What a fabulous idea Julie! Wish I were your next door neighbor!❤
I have been inspired to do what you have done to put your dried goods in jars instead of the space that bags of nuts the chips take up on a pantry shelf. It’s a slow start but I’m getting there. You are a great inspiration thank you so much💕
That’s great Carol! The glass makes it so nice to look at and you can see what you have! Win win. I just did a little at a time. Glass jars can be expensive. Thrift stores, yard sales, left over pickle and pasta sauce jars, and grandmas basement are great places to find old jars. I am always looking for jars for whatever I’m storing. If I see a good one for a good price I buy it. It will get used somewhere. I’m so glad I inspired you to make the switch! ❤️ have a great day.
Your kitchen is absolutely gorgeous! It is both beautiful and functional. When we build, mine will be similar. We are hoping to build in about 5 years or so.
Thank you so much for all your kind words! You’re right about the evolution of the pantry! I am always updating and changing things! Since the video came out I have added another shelf and moved the wall baskets! Lol! So there will be more changes the next time you see it. ❤️ #never stop changing
Love everything I watch your challenge and now that pantry make you a new subscriber 🥰🥰love it every single piece look that a lot of love and thought put in too
You have such a beautiful and quaint kitchen!! I love all your sentimental pieces and how useful you’ve made them! And I love your pantry! How wonderful to have such a large space!! I have a question - you mentioned having your sweet potatoes in storage for about a year - and I notice you have a lot of onions and garlic - how do you keep them so long without air conditioning the space? I have a pantry but have trouble keeping potatoes and onions and garlic very long because it’s the same temperature as the house - which is usually around 70 degrees. Anyway - I was just curious about that. Thanks for the wonderful tour!!! 😊❤️
Hey hey hey! So glad your here again with me! I appreciate you being here and always commenting and sharing such nice words. I love getting to interact with my viewers. It’s such a unique experience. I hope that you’re doing well. By the way …….. what’s your name? I realized that we have been communicating through comments for over a year and I don’t even know your name. I thought about giving you the nick name Dublin but I didn’t know how you would feel about that so I thought I would ask. 😬 hopefully you don’t think I’m a crazy person for asking?! I hope that you’re doing well (insert name here) Dublin and I look forward to hearing from you soon. ❤️ Julie
I love your kitchen it’s beautiful. My kitchen cabinets are all white, and I also have red and white speckled dishes displayed on white open shelves. I also have my grandmas kitchen sink, it’s a double bowl, double drainboard sink. I also have a pantry room, I worked hard trying to fill it this summer.
Oh Heather I want to see! Your kitchen sounds dreamy! I love everything about homestead kitchens. I like all styles and iterations. I love how homestead farmhouse kitchens blend old and new together and that anyone can achieve this “look”. It doesn’t matter if you have a old or new kitchen or how tattered it may be. It still lends itself to the homestead kitchen look. So glad you are here. Hope you are doing well. ❤️
I would love to see your kitchen! I have a double drainboard sink that I would like to incorporate into my new kitchen but am at a loss of how to make it look right.
Looks like a dream! My kitchen us small and galley style so processing the garden is a current nightmare. Envious of your pantry..mine is in the basement and my 65 yr old knees don't like me anymore 🤣
A beautiful kitchen and pantry, loved the tour as well as all the old and family pieces you decorate with. (I do the same). I discovered your channel last year from your pantry tour and pantry challenge (I'm always looking for ideas to maximize storage in my pantry). I've enjoyed catching up on your videos while preserving the harvest from our garden this year.
Your kitchen and pantry are absolute perfection. I'm in the beginning stages of a kitchen Reno, so this is inspiring! Where did you get the glass jars that you are keeping the freeze dried tomatoes in? I'm a freeze dryer as well and am wondering if the lids are air tight. They are so pretty.
Hi Ronda! Yes it’s sort of a barndominuim. Our home is half house/half barn. It was originally this way when we bought it. We renovated the house side and the barn side still stands. It’s a really long building but our house directly attaches to the barn. I do occasionally show other parts of the house like the living room, dining area and sunroom. I keep my bedroom spaces private from the channel. I gotta save something for myself. I hope you understand. I appreciate you being here and taking time to comment. Love interacting with my viewers! ❤️
We have had mice in our barn where we keep animal feed at times over the years but not on a regular basis. We have 4 cats that roam the house and property so they help with rodent control. We also keep traps out in our barn to catch any that come along. I have not had any rodent problems inside the house.

Love your kitchen. If I were to build a new house I would show the builder your kitchen and say this is what I want

I love your kitchen and pantry! You really have an eye for repurposing things. That is a gift I do not possess. You should be the next Joanna.
Thank you for sharing your home and food ❤️You are truly blessed !
Love your concept of just putting the two fridges next to each other! Such a great idea!

You can tell that this room is the heart of the home. So comforting. Love it not only for how it looks but the feeling it invokes. Beautiful 👩🌾💙🙏☀️
Thank you!
Oh now I know who you are. I've seen your pantry before, back when I was binging on UA-cam videos about pantries.
like a rainbow.. wonderful Thanks for open up your home for us. Greeting from Hamburg/Germany

Whats the size of the kitchen?
Did u have trouble with mice

I can't really hear you. 9:30pm and nothing else on except ac unit. Have noticed on a few videos. Even with my external JBL speaker. 😮💨😮💨😮💨
