Nurses are essential, but the rest are too. I say this because my mum works hospitals. She started at one of those jobs where she takes patients from point A to point B. She studied a degree and now she's working as medical staff, immediately below nurses. Her experience has been that most people who are rude, are actually nurses who have airs of superiority. I'm not saying all nurses are bad, most aren't, but most people who are mean are actually nurses and doctors who think the world revolves around them. Hospitals run thanks to all kinds of people and positions, and it's silly to assume it's just the top two. In fact, shows like this aren't realistic at all (which, hey, don't get me wrong, I love Chicago Med). They show nurses and doctors practically doing all the muscle work (doctors taking patients around the hospital, doctors/nurses cleaning after patients when they puke, doctors/nurses admitting patients in...). They don't do that irl, those tasks are done by other staff, which makes sense. Why would the nurse, who is specialized in doing medical care such as putting an IV, be admitting people in or walking them around? They are needed for their job. The same as someone who works the desk doesn't operate on people, surgeons don't do paperwork.

My mom was a teacher for 25 years before she retired and went back to school for nursing, she graduated from nursing with honours at the age of 52 years old, she now works at a hospital, and she loves her job more than ever. I love nurses and I wish to be one, although I ended up getting a different degree and career, I hope to become a nurse one day, I never thought of seeing myself as one for a long time, but my mother made that happened for me, she made me realize that it's never to late to go back to school and starting another career path for yourself, you can be a teacher one day, a pilot the next, and a nurse in the end.

And then you try to kill people out of spite. Killing the doctor won't bring back your wife mate, and it won't be a case of vengeance either because he didn't kill her, he only tried to save her. I'm just sad that he died and wasn't able to be prosecuted for the attempted murder.

Haha I’m a chemist and yeah, that would absolutely never happen, ESPECIALLY with a substance that has a higher risk potential, whether it be flammability, toxicity/carcinogenicity, oxidizing potential, acidity or basicity. Also, hydrogen cyanide is a gas (which is shown in the show) but that means it would never come in a thermos like container that could just pop open that easily, and would be kept in a strong metal gas cylinder

I think the idea here was it's supposed to be an unmarked container, maybe with a couple of images from the legend stating that it would release vapour, but other than that nothing on it. And while a medical professional might recognize the legend instantaneously, a viewer wouldn't necessarily get it, so writing "toxic chemical" makes it obvious to the viewer. That, and the easy to open container that wouldn't be used for a gas this dangerous, is only being used because he wants to open it quickly, so he probably special ordered the container or safely stored it in that container himself.

I did this many many times because both my kids were premature and I had to ask for their drs many many times !! Not true, I have done this when pregnant with complications. Saw them several times for different issues which were being treated with different medicines. So much easier when I didn't have to explain a millions times what the problems were

it wasnt air tight sealed so it would still spread even if he didn't push him down and you heard the opening so it was open but the lid was still on
