It’s always interesting when the same characters appear to work continuously on every single shift!
There was an Australian medical show called ‘All Saints’ - they used to have a bit of variety about who was on screen every episode (which represented the shift) - sometimes some of the main characters would come in at the end to signify taking over for the next shift.

@@flashstudiosguy No chance. As I said, shooters hate ramblers and they only hold hostages to achieve a certain goal. Any pep talk that can't achieve their goal will be met with extremely poor reaction. House would be shot.
Considering how he reacted, bringing a gun in and shooting people to try and get the child, it makes sense why they were trying to take away his son. And with the crazy way he was behaving, giving the baby to him was too dangerous, and protecting the staff and everyone else in the room was top priority with his final moments. It would have been hard for the character to lure him into the kill zone, but it was a necessity and she had to make that decision.
She made a decision... she chose to save the life of that baby and of the people in the hospital, she made a difficult choice, she chose, and she chose well.

the guy was scared he just wanted to see his child..........yes he shot 2 people and that deserves punishment......if they just arrested him and allowed him to see his child under supervision with a police officer there or allowed the mother to bring the child to the jail everything would have been okay

@@AlexisStreams They should have shot him when they had the chance he caused the deaths of numerous innocent people and refused to help two he could have been lethally injured. Under no circumstance is his presence on this earth is neither neutral nor beneficial but harmful and no matter the reason the deaths that happened are his fault. He would have probably been a danger to the mother and the kid too later on.
The dad to be was SO stupid bringing a gun to the hospital,shooting lily’s dad, expecting that he was gonna get away with this, thinking he could be a good father
He turned to violence instead of legally fighting for his son
here's the thing david going to court would have solved nothing why? Because The courts would award custody of the baby to Lily/Edie Thompson the woman who adopted lily's baby and David would still be denied access

@@redmondpeters6221 honestly.......on one hand it shouldn't have gone that far if they just allowed him access with supervised support yes it would have taken a long time for david to build up trust however no one gets hurt, HOWEVER on the other hand it took LIly's Father A Police officer and david getting shot for Lily to keep the baby after the adopted mother ran off

Have some humility. This show takes place in America, which is a terrible place for men. With an American male character, I feel comfortable assuming that he was treated horribly his whole life and society pretty much pushed him to this.
I don't know the full story but this made my blood pressure high. I was angry at the dad-to-be (taking his son away was not right, but so does what he did with that gun) to the point that I felt relieved when he got shot.
With context is worst, is not like he was blindsided, he willingly left the mother alone because “i was scared” and he came all proud that he had a job and they can be a family now and when the girl say “is too late” what did he do? Blame the father because obviously there is no way the mother doesn’t want to be with him! It’s obviously the fathers fault not his! Everyone is just against him and her being together! He was delusional from the start and never had a good reason to do this

He obviously had this extremely rough idea of being on the run with his wife and child that would just be another hardship to overcome. Obviously this is not the case.
basically the full story is Lily wanted to give the child up for adoption that's why the lady was there with lily's dad, david wanted lily to keep the child so he could step up and be a father, Lily and Lily's father both said no and the father ohh boy i can see why this pissed david off Lilly's father said the baby wasn't davids anymore. (THE HELL IT IS David's sperm helped concieve the child) david wanted help sharon came down and said they can find a lawyer to handle this situation out(problem is even if they went to court the baby would be awarded to the Lily or the foster mother and David would still be denied access) Question What is david to do? i do not condone him bringing a gun to the hospital.........however in David's mind he had no other choice

But the many times that Goodwin talked sense into him and did not listen, HE made HIS choice. HE decided to take the violent route. He even said so himself: "I will kill everyone in this hospital." How selfish. TV Show or Real life, this person deserved to die. It was the most satisfying death scene I have come across so far. He deserved to get shot. He deserved to die.

I know Doctors have this code they follow do no harm and protect there patients but im surprise that they didn't try anything to gang up on him and one gets behind and jab him with a super strong knock out drug. ones a Soldier right? he could of done it.
Dose him how? Such injections need to be injected into the thigh, or the butt. You’d need to get it through his pants, and it’d take a good few seconds to take effect. It would be a huge gamble.
He was tending to a wounded man, and it's not his capacity anymore. There are still patients on the floor, and any such drastic actions with so much firearms involved at both sides of the doors would potentially lead to more fatals.

She helped the police get rid of an incredibly dangerous, sick, degenerate animal, who was a danger to everyone around himself including that kid, and who had no place on this earth after what he did. THAT, is what Goodwin did. Thank god she was there and thank god she did the right thing. :)

It was implied that she had really loved him she was also under shock, hormones, going through trauma as of this second. She probably also didn't want anyone to die.
