4:56 There was also a cut “BOS_SuperSoldier” in the files with the model of a slightly smaller super mutant with gray skin, normal human eyes, and patchy hair growth. "Please state the nature of the medical emergency" is the catchphrase of the Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager .. also fun fact: Lancer Captain Kells is voiced by Tim Russ ( Mr. Tuvok again from Star Trek: Voyager )
At 15:28, that phrase is a Star Trek: Voyager reference since it released before both games. “Please state the nature of the medical emergency” is what The Doctor (played by Robert Picardo) says every time he’s activated (being a hologram). Fallout has had many Star Trek references and actors voice before, such as Captain Kells being voice acted by Tim Russ, whom also played Tuvok in Voyager.
Say what you will about this game, but you cannot deny the dedication the team put into the easter eggs
that medical emergency line was actually a reference to star trek voyager i think. the holographic doctor says that whenever he got activated. it would make sense to me that it is a hint about the guy being a synth.
I'm sure someone has already said the quote "please say the nature of the medical emergency" is from the TV show Star Trek Voyager. The emergency medical holograph would say that every time he was activated.
14:42 bro that “DAMN YOU CLIFFHANGER” is a mood
The state the nature of your medical emergency could also be from star trek voyager it’s EMH (emergency medical hologram), i say this because that brother hood captain guy is voiced by tim russ, the actor who played tuvok on the show.
And Doctor Alan Binet is voiced by Robert Picardo the actor who played The Doctor aka the EMH/ECH
That star craft reference is also another reference to the EMH from Star Trek: Voyager, who says the same line when being initialized. Voyager Aired in 1995 with StarCraft making its debut in 1998.
It is nice that fallout 4 has so many new vegas references. They could have easily left them out entirely
I have 400+ hours in this game and when the bottle messages segment came on i was like "the what!?" Literally never found a single one LOL
Preston's comment on the super mutants is def the best
20 minutes of reasons why I love this game
Same!
its about time i played through the 3 open world fallout games once again
"please State the nature of the medical emergency" that is 100% a reference to the emergency medical hologram from Star Trek. Specifically Star Trek Voyager
15:28 the EMC (Emergency Medical Hologram) in Star Trek: Voyager also says "Please state the nature of you medical emergency" when activated
I wish there was a quest with manta man
15:29 "State the nature of the medical emergency" is also what the Doctor says in Star Trek: Voyager
Pretty sure that "please state the nature of your medical emergency" is a reference to the holographic doctor from Voyager who says that literally line verbatim
"State the nature of the medical emergency" is what The Doctor from Star Trek Voyager says.
amazing, love learning new things about F4 that ive missed, ive been playing since release :D
Please state the nature of the medical emergency could also be a voyager reference.
15:29 is also a referance to Star trek Voyager’s EMH ( Emergency medical hologram ) That famously says Please state the nature of your medical emergency
