although agust d’s music is very hardcore, he also contributes his music in other collabs with artists as “suga”, collaborating with artists like halsey (suga’s interlude), IU (28) and lee sora (song request). yoongi is a self-producer and is known in bts to have produced the most songs for the group. he has royal blood in him due to being in the min clan (hence his last name being min) but he grew up being a poor underground rapper that got ripped off when trying to sell his songs to get a bite to eat or a bus ride home as a teenager. he lived a really rough life up until he became a member of bts, and so seeing him now as a grown and matured artist is truly inspiring, especially because he has stayed humbled and grounded til this day. truly a great individual of bts, and i can’t wait for you to be able to learn about the other members as well!!!!
I hate when people tell reactors about the royalty thing it is really pointless and irrelevant in his life story and experience as an artist. It's as if we are telling the size of his closet. It is really pointless and does not mean anything. It instead feeds people this false reality about Yoongi. Can we as a fandom just not tell this to new reactors or maybe if we do can we not exaggerate it as if he is royalty or something. It really diminishes the impact of his struggles in life and his struggles in becoming an artist.

Bro, facts. Agust D had the hardest life pre-debut out of all BTS members. Bang PD even called him precocious. I remember after releasing his first mixtape, Bang PD said "where is the incisive person full of wrath from before had gone?" For real, Agust d has gone through so many shits and hardships in the past. He has sacrificed so much from music. He only has music and he lives for music. He heals himself through music and heals other people through it too. He is okay now, improved a lot and had softened up now.

wanted to add that though he is a descendant of royalty, his family was not wealthy and he struggled financially a lot. his family was very against him pursuing a musician career and but he still sneaked out to do what he wants. when he came to seoul he didn't have money and at some point he could only afford one time meal a day (and that's if he decided to not go home by bus). the big problem was also people scamming him taking his works and not paying him. he started to work part time and worked so even while being a trainee in bighit, that's how he got his shoulder injured for all those years until he finally agreed to surgery in december last year. a tough cookie indeed.
One of the reasons why he roast the haters too much is because he and RM were insulted in a show very badly when they were rookies. Those guys were rappers and they said that BTS rappers doesn't even _look_ like rappers because they apply makeup which makes them look gayish(yes that person said that). And Yoongi never forgot that incident. Actually non of the members did.

I believe he left home and worked part time jobs while being a traini. One day during his part time job he almost got ran over and his shoulder got smashed. He was too scared to tell anyway, in fear of getting kicked out so he suffered his traini days with a messed up (crushed) shoulder. He also has battled depression, which he mentions a little in his song “The Last”.
Honestly your way of getting into BTS is genius, usually when I get into new groups I just look at them as a whole and let myself get bombarded with information, then get into individual projects(songs) later. But I feel as if your tactic is smarter, it would definitely make your journey of exploring/getting to know a new group easier.

Because of my Adhd and executive dysfunction it‘s really hard to not get discouraged because I don‘t get some tasks done that easily as others. He is a workaholic in high demand as a producer while also being known to say that he just wants to rest or sleep or be reincarnated as a rock. All BTS members are known for their duality. A different kind of duality but he is no exception there, either. If you really want to know about his struggles, The Last is a very personal song about himself. I highly recommend it. I have read lots of comments elsewhere about how his ancestor's children would not have ruled and a sizeable number of Koreans have the surname Min but I still like to use the crown emoji for him. Yoongi IS swag and it ain't brag if you earned it. He did overcome a lot of obstacles and fought his way to the top.

He usually co-produces his tracks with Slow Rabit, Pdogg( BTS's main producer), Ghstloop and El Capitxn (most tracks have credits to Agust D and one or two people from this list). I think thry are all under Big hit but I don't think I've seen them being credited for BTS's music outside of Yoongi's solo

That apparently goes waaayyy back in his family tree. Yoongi's family wasn't well off at all so he actually had to work his way up all by himself. Just thought it'd be better to clear that up now to avoid confusion... 😭😭 He is not directly seen as royalty, since Korea does not have a King or Royal house. Like centuries ago it had a Royal house. I don't even think his bloodline is co sidered as royal. So he didn't grow up as a prince or within a royal family like you think. Let me explain it to you (mind you im not korean either): in Korea there are categorized "clans". Hence, why most surnames are the same because there were only few clans. In BTS for example there are 3 members with the surname "Kim". Now within those clans there are also divisions and rankings. Based on those historic rankings, SUGA or Min Yoongi, is part of a royal part of the clan "Min".

And His shoulder that was totally destroyed when he had to work part part of his time because of his company ´Big Hit´ was bankrupt. As you mentioned that he is descendent from royalty but this is not really very relevant nowadays. I'm saying it for you not to think that he was kid with rich parents or something like this just because of the "royalty" thing. His family actually was very poor. He mentioned it many times and as he said, he many times didn't even had money for ramen. So he needed to choose go home with the buss or eat because hadn't money for both. Even when he was a trainee on BTS he worked at part time jobs to make some money. So yes. Just to keep it in mind. But in my opinion the best you could do before all the BTS music is react to one or two gides about them. BTS have the best gides out there. He was working at record studio since 13 years old, that's how he started learning music production. Later he was a delivery boy. He was making MIDI and also giving composing lessons, he was selling music on streets and didn't have enough money to buy a food or bus ticket. This was at the time when he was undeground rapper. Hope you understand that he is not really royal descent. It is just rumor

although agust d’s music is very hardcore, he also contributes his music in other collabs with artists as “suga”, collaborating with artists like halsey (suga’s interlude), IU (28) and lee sora (song request). yoongi is a self-producer and is known in bts to have produced the most songs for the group. he has royal blood in him due to being in the min clan (hence his last name being min) but he grew up being a poor underground rapper that got ripped off when trying to sell his songs to get a bite to eat or a bus ride home as a teenager. he lived a really rough life up until he became a member of bts, and so seeing him now as a grown and matured artist is truly inspiring, especially because he has stayed humbled and grounded til this day. truly a great individual of bts, and i can’t wait for you to be able to learn about the other members as well!!!!
I hate when people tell reactors about the royalty thing it is really pointless and irrelevant in his life story and experience as an artist. It's as if we are telling the size of his closet. It is really pointless and does not mean anything. It instead feeds people this false reality about Yoongi. Can we as a fandom just not tell this to new reactors or maybe if we do can we not exaggerate it as if he is royalty or something. wanted to add that though he is a descendant of royalty, his family was not wealthy and he struggled financially a lot. his family was very against him pursuing a musician career and but he still sneaked out to do what he wants. when he came to seoul he didn't have money and at some point he could only afford one time meal a day (and that's if he decided to not go home by bus). the big problem was also people scamming him taking his works and not paying him. he started to work part time and worked so even while being a trainee in bighit, that's how he got his shoulder injured for all those years until he finally agreed to surgery in december last year. a tough cookie indeed.

One of the reasons why he roast the haters too much is because he and RM were insulted in a show very badly when they were rookies. Those guys were rappers and they said that BTS rappers doesn't even _look_ like rappers because they apply makeup which makes them look gayish(yes that person said that). And Yoongi never forgot that incident. Actually non of the members did.

His family was really poor and didn’t support his dream to pursue music. They wanted him to get a safe job that would be secure. I believe he left home and worked part time jobs while being a traini. One day during his part time job he almost got ran over and his shoulder got smashed. He was too scared to tell anyway, in fear of getting kicked out so he suffered his traini days with a messed up (crushed) shoulder. He also has battled depression, which he mentions a little in his song “The Last”.

Honestly your way of getting into BTS is genius, usually when I get into new groups I just look at them as a whole and let myself get bombarded with information, then get into individual projects(songs) later. May I suggest you react to bts' "Ddaeng" plus its explanation video (it's called ddaeng explained by a korean)? I bet you will be amazed and learn so much more about how genius these guys are. Ddaeng is a song from bts' rapline so it's only sang by Yoongi (Suga), Namjoon (RM) and Jhope (Hoseok) and it's also written by them like all of their work. Wow I love the „slow motion is still motion“ quote :o I always go by the 70% rule. If I can‘t do 100% then at least 70 or even 20%, everything is better than 0. Because of my Adhd and executive dysfunction it‘s really hard to not get discouraged because I don‘t get some tasks done that easily as others.

He is a workaholic in high demand as a producer while also being known to say that he just wants to rest or sleep or be reincarnated as a rock. All BTS members are known for their duality. A different kind of duality but he is no exception there, either.
If you really want to know about his struggles, The Last is a very personal song about himself. I highly recommend it. I have read lots of comments elsewhere about how his ancestor's children would not have ruled and a sizeable number of Koreans have the surname Min but I still like to use the crown emoji for him. Yoongi IS swag and it ain't brag if you earned it. He did overcome a lot of obstacles and fought his way to the top.

If I'm not wrong ... He does come from royalty but with the generations and other stuff, they don't have wealth anymore.
And it's known that he has a rather poor background and as a teen his parents except for his older brother didn't suppote his love for music and wanted him to follow a 'safer' carrer path.
he has 2 mixtapes out, the first one in 2016 is self titled “AGUST D” which had the songs Agust D and Give it to me in the tracklist. D-2 is the sequel mixtape that came out in 2020 which Daechwita was part of.

I wanted to clear up a few things though: the songs 'Agust D' and 'give it to me' are part of his first mixtape (so not D-2) and Yoongi also isn't a direct descendant of royalty. That apparently goes waaayyy back in his family tree. Yoongi's family wasn't well off at all so he actually had to work his way up all by himself. Just thought it'd be better to clear that up now to avoid confusion...

😭😭 He is not directly seen as royalty, since Korea does not have a King or Royal house. Like centuries ago it had a Royal house. I don't even think his bloodline is co sidered as royal. So he didn't grow up as a prince or within a royal family like you think.
Let me explain it to you (mind you im not korean either): in Korea there are categorized "clans". Hence, why most surnames are the same because there were only few clans. In BTS for example there are 3 members with the surname "Kim". Now within those clans there are also divisions and rankings. Based on those historic rankings, SUGA or Min Yoongi, is part of a royal part of the clan "Min".
Your should react to "The Last" by Suga. (He mentions his depression in the past and his accident before bts debut in 2013. And His shoulder that was totally destroyed when he had to work part part of his time because of his company ´Big Hit´ was bankrupt. He had to leave his city, Daegu, and go to the great city of Seoul against the approval of his parents . In the song, mentions, it was there that he suffered from phobia to go out to a concert. And where he had suicide attempts. He had to vist to the psychiatrist). He cames from a poor family, too, that is the reason his parent didn´t agree with his musical career. Another Suga song that I recommend is "First Love", where he brings to life something abstract like a piano, to identify it with his passion form music, which at the age of 8 he discovered it. Although Yoongi is descended from royalty, that does not describe his growing up years. BTW, he produces and directs his own videos and writes the music.

As you mentioned that he is descendent from royalty but this is not really very relevant nowadays. I'm saying it for you not to think that he was kid with rich parents or something like this just because of the "royalty" thing. His family actually was very poor. He mentioned it many times and as he said, he many times didn't even had money for ramen. So he needed to choose go home with the buss or eat because hadn't money for both. Even when he was a trainee on BTS he worked at part time jobs to make some money. So yes. Just to keep it in mind.
But in my opinion the best you could do before all the BTS music is react to one or two gides about them. BTS have the best gides out there. To get to know a little bit about their background and stuff like this :')
I really recommend you "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On - The Story of BTS" and "BTS from nobodies to legends" they are amazing and ARMY also love reactions to this gides and longer videos :')
