Pls also react to ❤️BTS "HIP HOP LOVER" [ENG SUB] LIVE by Bangtan Corner. Link in reply. This so LIT, totally hype song, gives homage to all the hip hop artists that meant so much, & inspired BTS all throughout their lives while growing up. This performance was from BTS 2015 HYYH On Stage performance in Japan. This one has the so very important English subs on screen!!!
Pls react to ❤️BTS "TOMORROW" ENG SUB LIVE - by Bangtan's Corner From BTS 2015 HYYH Concert. Link in reply. I beleive this performance from their HYYH concert, is one of the best, most passionate emotional deliverance of this amazing so meaningful, inspirational song that Suga wrote & produced (English subtitles on screen), with some help from in-house BigHit producer Slow Rabbit. The vocals, rap,, dancing & choreography are so amazingly outstanding, in this must see performance I so recommend!!
@@WE__BTS yes, saw them introduce themselves as in English as Beyond The Scene on the Graham Norton show here in the UK. They explained both the Korean and English meanings of BTS. It confused the show's host 😂
The parts where there was two sets of lyrics mwrked as "R" and "L" indicates a change in the lyrics from when they first performed it to the most recent performance. There's a time gap of a few years.
This video is a stage mix of two lives, first one they did in 2015 and the another is recently done, so the rappers has skightly changed their verses and they have added two captions there. For eg the first one RM rapped “20 nights have passed” and in the recent one he rapped “5yrs have passed”. In the 2015 comcert they stood facing each other and turns to face the crowd in the end. In the recent stage they started facing the crowd and then turns inwards towards themselves, and behind scnes they said they would have cried and wouldnt have been able to sing if they saw the fans🥺
My flinching ears wish this mix had a much clearer description so that people would know what to expect. And so that I could avoid watching reaction vids to it. ;-p
13:12 Linton: Look at the passion in their eyes ARMY HAS FLASHBACKS TO A BTS REACTION TO THEIR DEBUT STAGE. Jhope:Look at the passion in our eyes V: It's the eyeliner
Okay can we all just take a moment and look at how far these boys came??? Like to a small group with small fans all the ways to the Grammy's and one of the most well known group in the damn world? Having the best and biggest fanbase these boys worked so hard to be where they are at and they are a... Born Singers
The double layered rap in RM's part is himself. You're watching Stage Mix which means they edited multiple performances (in this case, 2 performances with 5 years difference) into one video. In RM's part, if you noticed, RM change his rap from 20 days to 5 years and 20 years to 25 years. That means one of the performance was performed not that long after they debut and another performance was performed 5 years after they debut. So RM changed the raps to fit the timeframe at that time.
I’m only halfway through, but I just want to say that your reactions are always thoughtful and intelligent and it’s refreshing to listen to you share your thoughts. I could legit watch your videos for hours. It’s just cool watching someone not only react to something I love, but do so with such an open mind and open heart. I hope your day/night is going well whenever you see this.
Fyi Min yoongi was an underground rapper before he debuted as Suga of BTS. Thats why he said the difference between before and after debut is just the label "rapper" and "idol". He's still doing the same thing.
This song makes both army’s and bts very emotional. You can see that in their earlier years (the black and white part) they started with facing inward in the circle and then they made an outward facing circle representing that they will fight against the odds and show the world that they got what is needed. But in the newer performance they started with an outward circle and ended with an inward circle showing that they still need each other and rely on the other members for support. It’s truly beautiful. (this is my take on the entire circle thing) Btw I really really love your reactions 💜💜💜💜💜
"an early confession" relates to how new of a group they were. they released this song in 2013 so they were saying perhaps its too early to say but we were born for this
Yes, this "early confession" always makes me cry. Thinking of them at such young ages when they first sang this, and how they were essentially singing their hopes into reality, reassuring themselves and each other. Saying it's an early confession, "I'm happy, I'm good", as they're not quite there yet, but they will be. The hopeful yearning and reassurance of this song kills me, especially thinking of the hardships and hate they were going through.
BTS stands for 방탄소년단 (BangTanSonyeondan) which means Bulletproof Boyscouts (direct translation for BTS in korean).. They extended the meaning of BTS to Beyond The Scene. 😊😊
The "Beyond the Scene" was a joke that evolved between them while they were talking about comments in one of their Bangtan Bombs (I think it was Suga who, with much sarcasm, mentioned they might as well get called that). So, not real, there never was that meaning. Ever.
Okay now that I've finally made it through the video.. Hi Linton! This video specifically is two different versions of the song. The version in your left ear is from their Redbullet Tour in 2015 and in your right ear is their version from their Wings tour in 2017. Another important thing to point out is that on 2015 they start off facing each other for most of the song and then turn out during the end to face their fans and during 2017 they face the crown the entire time until they let the crowd sing while facing inward. BTS most definitely have powerful lyrics and this just proves it. RM has the changed lyrics in this stage mix where he says "rap star" in 2015 and "real me" in 2017 and then again talking about "20 nights have passed" vs. "5 years have passed" and then "I know why you ridicule me" vs "I know why you ridiculED me" and lastly "it's me whose gone further at 20" vs. "it's me whose gone further at 25". These are just slightly changes in their lyrics but they have such a big impact on the song. This song never fails to make me super emotional and I have no doubt other Army feel the exact same way. This song is honestly one of my favorites they have and I am so grateful to you for reacting to it and doing it so beautifully.
"The boundaries between rappers and Idol" Suga is talking about the struggles he faced of being a rapper or an Idol, since his rapper peers looked down on him for betraying hip hop by becoming an Idol
Haven't even started the reaction yet and I am crying and screaming! I am the Patreon that requested this!!!! I am so damn excited!!!!! AHHHHHH Thank you so much for doing this!
SUGA's lyrics and performances are always so emotional and sincere. I recommend you his song First love, which is about his love for music, it is one of the most passionate BTS songs
I wonder why is that when we talk about why we love BTS and what we feel sets them apart people say that they’re being put on a pedestal but it’s just recognizing their talent. Just because we big them up doesn’t mean that we put anybody else down in the process💜 Also When you Jim-in you can’t Jim-out🤣
"Jimin is cute" Jimin effect is at it again y'all!! I'm so happy 😊 don't worry, you're not the only one affected by this. There's literally a compilation of guys (straight guys) saying Jimin is cute..
This video is a mix of performances (audio from performances of 2013 and 2017 and videos from 2015 and 2017) that's why the subs for RM's part has two versions, he changed some lyrics of his verse for the newest performance That's why the lyrics were like: "20 days have passed" and "five years have passed" "My dream is to become a Rap star can't you feel?" And "My dream is to become *RM* (real me) can't you feel" Also "It's me who's gone further than you at age 20" vs "It's me who's gone further than you at age 25" Hope this make sense lmao Also Thanks for acknowledging the non native English speakers enjoying your content! Thanks for the video!
I just want to comment that I love the way you speak about things in depth and provide kind of a bit of advice as you decipher the messages that they’re saying in their music. I feel you’re a genuine vibes and I really appreciate to have someone who likes BTS for more than surface level reasons.
BTS are amazing lyricists. They’re honest and sincere to what they’re singing and everyone could see and feel it. BTS are the greatest performers alive! BTS is the best! There’s nothing like BTS!
In Korea "idol rappers" are looked down upon because of the stigma that they are bad and not "true" rappers. Suga asks in the end of his rap what changed, how is he different from before he became an "idol rapper". Suga also mentioned this in his song the last where he said it's not that he couldn't but didn't want to participate in 'show me the money'. Many " idol rappers" participate inorder to "prove" there "worth" as rappers.
@@stupidnerdy4591 yes show me the money or smtm is a rap TV show where different rappers participate for the prize money. Many famous k-rappers like pH-1, bewhy, Basick and swings have participate in the 9 season (as of 2021).
@@stupidnerdy4591 you're talking about unpretty rapstar. While the concept is pretty much the same, smtm includes people of all genders and is much more large scale. I don't know exactly because I haven't actually watched unpretty rapstar but from what I understand the contestants are already known/ have a background in music prior to competing and are invited to the show. In smtm contestants from all ages and background can participate if they get through the auditions.
Thank you for pointing that out!!! It totally makes sense that they're rotating counter clockwise. It's like mimicking traveling back in time and reminiscing the past and their growth over the years. I believe these two performances merged together were performed 5 years apart that's why there are two lines of lyrics to reflect that. 😭💜
Nice reaction...BTS actually stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan ( which means Bulletproof Boy Scouts), the name signifies the group's desire "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets".
It took me a little to get it but!! This video has been edited to include clips from 2 performances: 1) The first time they performed BTS Born Singer (remake of Born Sinner by J Cole)... This was at BTS Live Trilogy: BTS Begin (this was their second concert tour, I believe? In 2015) ; 2) The last performance of the Wings Tour Final in 2017. Both took place in Seoul. The 2015 performance has the original lyrics, that song had been released back in July of 2013, a month after BTS debut. They never had performed it before in front of an audience, because it's a Soundcloud release, it's not a track included in any of BTS official albums. The original lyrics is Bangtan expressing their feelings from early on, when they started. The modifications were done because they had matured or their feelings and experience had changed. For their Wings Tour RM changed some of his lyrics: so, when the video is showing you two similar lines, they are showing you what was the original line, versus the modification the rapper did later on, when performing this iconic song again, when they were in a different stage of their careers. For example, there's an original line in which RM said "my dream is to become a rap star (number one, the best, successful)", later he says "my dream is to become myself (authentic, know myself, love myself)". Very telling of the change in mindset. It should be evident, but this song means A LOT to BTS and ARMY. You can see artist and crowd tearing up and crying. It's one of those songs, like Tomorrow, Whalen 52, Move On, Young Forever, etc.
Don’t worry everybody loves jimim 😂💜 Especially men love him not that women don’t but I have seen many men having a soft spot for him Anyways they are all amazing and talented Stan talent 💜
I get so emotional every time I see their born singer performance, reading along with the lyrics because of how much shit they went through back then, and seeing how much they’ve grown. But also to actually see you read and understand, and appreciate their lyricism.. that put some tears in my eyes because that’s the whole reason why ARMY connects with bts on an entirely different level than what most other fans might with their artists. This is the whole reason why they are so massive, and it sucks when people just DONT make the effort or take the time to understand that. They would rather be hateful or judgmental, and brush them off before even knowing just how much heart & soul these boys but into their music. So I just wanted to say thank you for appreciating their artistry
Yoongi actually got into an accident that really injured his shoulder but he didn't tell anyone because he was still a trainee and he didn't want to be kicked out.
I just LOVE how u process and break down the music. I feel like I found/relate to a creator who appreciates music the way I do, no matter who the artist is. I just never get bored when I watch ur videos they're amazing. I just wanted to comment on this and say that I'm happy I found/subbed to you and thanks to BTS cuz they made me find ur channel. All love and wishing for much success for ur channel
The way this song still fucking makes me cry so hard 😭 But also, "an early confession" means just that, this song is an oldie but they basically were proclaiming the position where they are now. They said "I'M A BORN SINGER, I'MA GET THERE" basically.
thank you!! i hate how people think liking bts is simply because they are young attractive men. Everyone is so used to boybands being famous for their looks and lovey dovey songs but bts is different. They have a huge fanbase for many reasons, one of the main ones is for their lyricism and talent. They really love what they create and have a huge passion for music
Not me crying again 😭 this song has so meaning for me as the members tell their story before debuting and how passionate they are. They have a lot of questions and what ifs when they’re just starting. I love how they keep their passion burning. They are more than their music, I love them because of their personality. I hope a lot of people will see that in them.
i rarely comment on bts reaction video bcs I'm not good with words. i just found out ur bts reaction video recently and i watch every single one of them. to be honest with u, i really like ur reaction. i really do. thank you for listening to bts.
AAAAAAHHHH I WAS RIGHT!! glad to have subscribed. Yeh you like who you like. And it’s Jimin, you know? it’s understandable on every level. Thank you for reacting to them, I can tell, you actually understand the depth of their lyrics. There’s a lot and I am excited for your to discover them all and m looking forward to see your reaction to them!! Big love!
you can probably guess that they wrote their own lyrics to the song (especially RM, J-Hope, and Suga) and it displays their technical skill really well. if you want to hear more of RM's music (he's the rapper with the deep voice) I have to recommend to you his first mixtape (RM) and especially the songs Do You and Joke (which have music videos on youtube). thank you for reacting to another BTS video!!
How can you not get all into your feels when you watch and hear this song? It like it touched my heart😭😭 especially when they all started to sing together
I really really want eminem and BTS rapline to meet each other and share their experiences Suga and eminem together on a picture alone would be legendary to say the least
I just discovered this account, and I really love it, and I appreciate you so much. I've been a fan since 2014 and there are very few reactors that I like, and you are one of them, because you really take your time trying to understand not only the lyrics but also the mvs and so on. Thank you for appreciating BTS for theri artistry instead of their fame
This song and lyrics really makes me emotional as someone who believe and support then since the very beginning, I remember saying to people around me “this boys gonna be big! they are genuinely passionate about music” and that’s exactly what was lacking in kpop at that time. I’m OG kpop Stan, don’t get me wrong, I was into groups from 1st and 2nd generation like The Grace, Kangta, Fin.K.L, DBSK, SS501, Shinee, SNSD, KARA, SuJu, BigBang etc BUT at the time I feel like something was missing, kpop lyrics didn’t resonate with me at all and most of the songs didn’t even make any sense tbh, once I realized that and how most of my fav idols had no creativity control nor freedom I started to feel disconnected from kpop... until BTS came to the scene full of passion, they definitely have that sparkle in their eyes even with everyone telling them to give up cuz they wouldn’t make it big. The way some OG kpop stans fail to realize how BTS brought something new to the table, definitely influenced this new generation and help kpop improve, even breaking the big3 monopoly, makes me sad, some people still diminish the impact of their achievements, but they deserved everything they got, I personally don’t believe it’s about them being lucky, they have something special that makes them stand out from the rest and the whole industry saw that and tried to break this group to stop them from getting big, they had to overcome all the obstacles the industry has put upon them to achieve their well deserved success, that’s just facts. Sorry for the rant lol, I was just going to ask u to react to their song HipHop lover or Hip Hop Phile, I genuinely think you’re going to appreciate that song a lot and all the references and homage they pay to the rappers that influenced them, this song definitely needs more appreciation!!!
I just found you today and i watched all of your bts reactions in one sit 😭 i really enjoy it. I respect you as a person too. I love to hear your thoughts.
Linton, I am a hard rapline stan. Suga is the genius, RM is the lyricist, j-hope is the beacon. Go from Agust D to RM solos to j-hope solos to get the lyricism of BTS then go hard into the vocal line
i love all of your reactions about bts..they are more than just a performer. Their songs are not just some ordinary songs but a message that everyone can relate to. This song is one of my favorites, it gives me goosebumps all the time.
What you said about the commentary during the 4:21 is the main reason why I'm so into them. I totally agree and get you. I was a hue kpop fan even before, since 08 and I was so overwhelmed when I discovered bts, it's the transparency and passion for me. They aren't afraid to use their voices on every matter.
Thank you for this reaction! Born Singer is full of raw emotion and the rap line delivered bars. I love their storytelling and reflection of how far they’ve come.
This is a stage mix of this song, meaning it's 2 videos layed over one another. The first was shot way back when they first started, hence the line, "an early confession, perhaps,". It was at the start of their career, talking about the struggles of their training, pre-debut and debut. The stage rotates clockwise, showing how they are moving forward in their career. The second video was filmed 5 years later. The stage rotates counter clockwise, showing them looking back on those struggles and how they overcame them. That's why you see some of the lines split into two versions. What you'll hear in your right headphone was the original line, eg, "... 20 days have passed," vs what you hear in your left headphone "... 5 years have passed". The visual is of two different performances, separated by time and experience. I've watched this so many times and it always brings a little tear to my eye when I think of how far they've come. (There might possibly be three vids/performances layed over each other here. Some lyrics say 20 days, some say three years, some say five. Army, please correct me if I'm wrong by saying there were only 2 videos.)
just by listening to their whole discography you can understand the history behind them, their lyricisms is unbelievable. also what i really love about them is the stage presence how they put all of their emotions in every word and movement, you really see that they are truly masters and professionals of their craft plus the bond they seven have is just wow, imagine going through all the shit they had back than all together, no wonder why all of them who have such different personalities were able to become a family, this really inspires me too. it’s the most important thing i think in the group - like they could have the best skills and so on, but without this bond they have now, the group would not last long. suga once even said smth like that there are many talented kpop groups out there, but in some of them members don’t really get on well, they fight a lot, may don’t like each other. and he is right, there are such groups unfortunately. we just don’t see this. just imagining making a group so that everyone will get on well sounds crazy, bc we all different. and that difference can play in both sides - in bts’s way it worked well bc of the things they’ve been through, but in another “imaginable group”(i hate comparisons but it’s necessary here) who would be from a bigger company, those different personalities wouldn’t work for them. i know that i can explain my love for bts forever. let me stop here, boy i wish could turn back time and started discovering them again. p.s. sorry for my english, it’s not my first language
10:45 actually the overlaying of the left and right side audio (one is 20 nights, the other 5yrs) is because this vid splices 2 separate performances they did. One was during the start of their career (in black and white) then another when they performed it again more recently
You hit it on the nose! Hard not to put BTS on a Pedestal. They are distinct from other from other groups in many aspects. And the listener can go as deep as they wanna go BTS will take you there. 💜💜💜
BTS still goes by Bangtan Sonyeondan actually, BTS is just an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan and that's how they are usually called in korea. It means Bulletproof boys. When they win awards on MMA MAMA KMA GDA....ect they always say bangtan Sonyeondan and not BTS. BTS isn't really their real name tbh, it's a simplified acronym of their name, Bulletproof boys. Btw this song was released 1 month after debut only. So they wrote it pre debut. There's 2 voices because it's 2 performance, one from 2015 and other 2017. If you notice, a lot of lyrics changed in the subtitles, 2015 Namjoon said "my dream is to be a rapstar can't you feel" and 2017 he says "my dream is to be the real me can't you feel". 2015 "i know why you ridicule me" 2017 : "i know why you ridicule'd me" These changes in lyrics really says a lot about their evolution in their success
Suga worked part time jobs even during his trainee days and in one of his part time job which is newspaper delivery boy, he met an accident hit by a truck that injured his shoulder. But of fear he might be kicked out of his training, he tried to hid what happen to him but eventually Bighit discovered it and finally gone thru an operation after 7 years because he always feel the pain and his doctor recommend to immediately do an operation.
LOOK I JUST REALIZED THIS WHEN I WATCH UR REACTION. in the past bangtan, in the end they faced AMRYs. BUT in the older bangtan, they faced each other. GAWD IM GONNA CRY EVEN MORE NOWWWW
Also just to say on the video these are two performances, years apart, that are being played over lapping. Thats why sometimes their are two lines- because they changed the lyrics to reflect the time passing. They’ve only performed this song these two times if I’m remembering correctly. The first time they all faced inward and then turned outward. The second time they all faced outward and then turned inward.
Another banger. We do love your reactions because you analyze everything so quickly and so well. This rabbit hole is big enough for everyone and we're happy to have you along.
BTS makes me feel so many things with their songs, their lyrics are so special, they really put their most honest feelings on the table, always participating in the composition and production of their music, they remain real to this day, so talented and humble, for that and more I separate them from the rest of the kpop groups. They started lower than anyone else and climbed higher than anyone else.
came across this as i was searching up the born singer performances in anticipation of born singer being included in the official tracklist of bts' upcoming album proof,, and when i tell you i got CHILLS when you discussed the stage direction of them standing in a circle and going anti-clockwise like they were going back in time as they reminisced their past !!!!!! that is such a perfect interpretation of the song and the performance and makes so much with the intention behind proof as an anthology and born singer being the opening track ?!? my brain exploded and i may have teared up
@11:00 where there were 2 different timeline in RM’s verse were from different performances…the 20 nights was from the original but the 5 years he changed at a later performance to note the time that’s passed. And again at 11:10, he changed the time (or rather his age) to fit the performance
I love the way you present your thoughts. I dig watching smart people do their thing ❤ The reason I love BTS so much is the same, it's their authenticity & vulnerability. They are not embarrassed by being their authentic selves. They share with their audience and that makes them brilliant and unique. I am a Shakespearean actress and I have learned that audiences want vulnerability and honesty but it is not an easy lesson to learn and they have done it at a young age. I also love their poetry and depth and insight to classical works. But mostly I love the way they inspire people and me everyday. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
wow i love how u also felt the difference between bts and kpop. i’ve been a kpop fan for 8 years now. bts wasnt the first artists i loved i went through many groups and artists but upon discovering bts, i really felt like they were different from all the artists ive encountered. and so i had this connection that i can’t explain. they felt very real, authentic, genuine and passionate with their craft. really love how you take time to grasp their music and authenticity 👌🏼 appreciate you
Wilson Thank you for the way you react to BTS , for the time you take to understand each words and the meaning behind on the message .. BTS had always clarify that for them , the lyrics and message is very important and Army really are thankful for those that respect and enjoy BTS.. The abbreviation BTS stand for " Bangtan Sonyeondan and in 2017 Beyond the Scene ,,,,But Armys mostly will used Bangtan
This cover was actually made after their debut, where the reference of "20 days", but the first time to sing it live was after 3 years from the debut, and then they included this song in their world tour, that was 5 years from the debut. What you listened was a fan mash up of the first live version (2015) and the live from the world tour (2017)...so in one headphone you listen one live and in the other headphone the second live. Also, they adapted the lyrics to the time they were doing the live, based on where they got.
“i’m a born singer, perhaps this is an early confession” oh they were sure from debut they wanted to do this, that this was their passion and what they were meant to do 😭 god i am so proud watching them grow up
Ever since I became an army, many people tell me that I have fell into the bts hole but honestly, it feels like I'm finally home, it felt like home, I felt so comfortable about myself more than ever.
i'm from brazil, and i ended up finding your channel. I'm really enjoying your reactions and as you try to understand the meaning behind the letters, you don't stay on the surface! this is really cool, i love bts and i love how you appreciate their music! 💜💜
The black and white performance is from 2016, hence the lyric that mentions 3 years. This is a stage mix so the verse that RM sings In the full color performance that refers to 5 years was performed in 2018, since they debuted in 2013.
BTS is an acronym, it stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan. It translates to "Bulletproof Boys". (Bangtan means bulletproof. Sonyeondan is technically an old-fashioned term that used to be used to refer to young men in the military.) BTS added the meaning "Beyond the Scene" in English. ARMYs don't use it that often. Bangtan is still Bangtan.
you watched a mix performance, those are two different concerts thats why the double lyrics at some point,, they rewrite some to fit the present since they have a 5 years difference between those two performances!
I've almost all of your BTS related videos and I'm subscribing. Not only because of BTS but because of your authentic reaction to our boys. THANK YOU. Thank you for giving them a chance. That's all it takes for them to be understood. Chance.

13:12 Linton: Look at the passion in their eyes
ARMY HAS FLASHBACKS TO A BTS REACTION TO THEIR DEBUT STAGE.
Jhope:Look at the passion in our eyes
V: It's the eyeliner
Suga said it. But in reality we could see the passion in their eyes.
I’m confused with who really said it though. I remember it as suga but also have also sometimes been corrected as jhope 🤔
I just rewatch it and I was correct it was Hoseok and Taehyung
@@sam693691 it was Taehyung.
Me too
Okay can we all just take a moment and look at how far these boys came???
This whole song always makes me so emotional 😭 but that part gets me every time
I’m only halfway through, but I just want to say that your reactions are always thoughtful and intelligent and it’s refreshing to listen to you share your thoughts.
(this is my take on the entire circle thing)
Btw I really really love your reactions 💜💜💜💜💜
"an early confession" relates to how new of a group they were. they released this song in 2013 so they were saying perhaps its too early to say but we were born for this
Oh boy were they meant for this.
This song really makes me so emotional but its worse watching THEM get emotional singing it
I'm just an old mom from the United States and I absolutely love BTS! Thank you for your reactions.

BTS stands for 방탄소년단 (BangTanSonyeondan) which means Bulletproof Boyscouts (direct translation for BTS in korean).. They extended the meaning of BTS to Beyond The Scene. 😊😊
But let’s be honest, i dont think I’ve ever seen any army refer to them with the extended meaning though 🤭
@@bembolbug true though haha they will always be Bangtan boys for me hahaha
@@btsarmyforlife3572 exactly😂😂😂💜💜💜
The "Beyond the Scene" was a joke that evolved between them while they were talking about comments in one of their Bangtan Bombs (I think it was Suga who, with much sarcasm, mentioned they might as well get called that). So, not real, there never was that meaning. Ever.
J.Cole's BORN SINNER....
BTS RENDITION of the
Song is so GOOD
Okay now that I've finally made it through the video..
This song is honestly one of my favorites they have and I am so grateful to you for reacting to it and doing it so beautifully.
lol ''jimins cute bro'' first thing my brother said when i showed him who is bts. He's been the number 1 jimin bias in our family ever since
"The boundaries between rappers and Idol"
Suga is talking about the struggles he faced of being a rapper or an Idol, since his rapper peers looked down on him for betraying hip hop by becoming an Idol
the aggressive hand rubbing 😂😂
Haven't even started the reaction yet and I am crying and screaming! I am the Patreon that requested this!!!! I am so damn excited!!!!! AHHHHHH Thank you so much for doing this!
i love this energy 🤣
It sounds like BTS makes their albums to be an open diary, their life journey, their career, their experience and their personal development.
SUGA's lyrics and performances are always so emotional and sincere. I recommend you his song First love, which is about his love for music, it is one of the most passionate BTS songs
We lost another one to Jimin. I love how a lot of these reactors start off loving rap line... see one clip of Jimin and 11:32
I wonder why is that when we talk about why we love BTS and what we feel sets them apart people say that they’re being put on a pedestal but it’s just recognizing their talent. Just because we big them up doesn’t mean that we put anybody else down in the process💜 Also When you Jim-in you can’t Jim-out🤣
All true. I also Jim-in'ed and won't Jim-out but holy cow! I have 6 strong bias wreckers and realize 7 is the number that makes all the magic.

"Jimin is cute"
Jimin effect is at it again y'all!!
I'm so happy 😊 don't worry, you're not the only one affected by this. There's literally a compilation of guys (straight guys) saying Jimin is cute..
This video is a mix of performances (audio from performances of 2013 and 2017 and videos from 2015 and 2017)
that's why the subs for RM's part has two versions, he changed some lyrics of his verse for the newest performance
That's why the lyrics were like:
"20 days have passed" and "five years have passed"
"My dream is to become a Rap star can't you feel?" And "My dream is to become *RM* (real me) can't you feel"
Also "It's me who's gone further than you at age 20" vs "It's me who's gone further than you at age 25"
Hope this make sense lmao Also Thanks for acknowledging the non native English speakers enjoying your content! Thanks for the video!
Rms voice gives me goosebumps and melts my heart like #BUTTER everytime I hear him💛💜
I just want to comment that I love the way you speak about things in depth and provide kind of a bit of advice as you decipher the messages that they’re saying in their music. I feel you’re a genuine vibes and I really appreciate to have someone who likes BTS for more than surface level reasons.
Couldn’t have said it better. I always gain a new perspective from him and bts as well.
Many " idol rappers" participate inorder to "prove" there "worth" as rappers.
oh "show me the money" is a rap TV show ?
@@stupidnerdy4591 yes show me the money or smtm is a rap TV show where different rappers participate for the prize money. Many famous k-rappers like pH-1, bewhy, Basick and swings have participate in the 9 season (as of 2021).
@@kaide5262 is it similiar to the one that jessi went to ? "pretty smth" idk the full name , but male version ?

I don't know exactly because I haven't actually watched unpretty rapstar but from what I understand the contestants are already known/ have a background in music prior to competing and are invited to the show. In smtm contestants from all ages and background can participate if they get through the auditions.

BangTan Sonyeondan = BTS
(meaning bulletproof boy scout in Korean)
Stage 2015 + 2017
Thank you for the reaction.🙏❣️
Thank you for pointing that out!!! It totally makes sense that they're rotating counter clockwise. It's like mimicking traveling back in time and reminiscing the past and their growth over the years. I believe these two performances merged together were performed 5 years apart that's why there are two lines of lyrics to reflect that. 😭💜
It just I can't imagine this an early confession and it is become real. 😌 They're just being blessed. They got ARMY and they're so lucky.
Nice reaction...BTS actually stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan ( which means Bulletproof Boy Scouts), the name signifies the group's desire "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim at adolescents like bullets".
Once you Jimin, you can’t Jim-out. 😉
Don’t worry everybody loves jimim 😂💜
Especially men love him not that women don’t but I have seen many men having a soft spot for him
Anyways they are all amazing and talented
Stan talent 💜
The way this song still fucking makes me cry so hard 😭
But also, "an early confession" means just that, this song is an oldie but they basically were proclaiming the position where they are now.
I really really want eminem and BTS rapline to meet each other and share their experiences
Suga and eminem together on a picture alone would be legendary to say the least
Jimin again collecting everyone! Haha that man is so incredible and so beautiful in so many ways 💜
I just discovered this account, and I really love it, and I appreciate you so much. I've been a fan since 2014 and there are very few reactors that I like, and you are one of them, because you really take your time trying to understand not only the lyrics but also the mvs and so on. Thank you for appreciating BTS for theri artistry instead of their fame
jcole is one of jhope's favorite artists. You can see the reference on jhope's name and even on his mixtape "Hope world"
This song and lyrics really makes me emotional as someone who believe and support then since the very beginning, I remember saying to people around me “this boys gonna be big! they are genuinely passionate about music” and that’s exactly what was lacking in kpop at that time.
오... 요즘 리액션 영상이 부쩍 더 많아졌는데... 본 싱어 리액션은 보기 드물어요 !! 고마워요. 본싱어는 사랑이고.. 아미와 BTS에게는 눈물버튼입니다 ^^
Linton,
I am a hard rapline stan.
Jimin is a demi god of seduction, he gets you either by dance, looks, voice or just being his clumsy self. Not to forget his loving personality.
There is a saying that goes like this: " Once you JIMIN you can't JimOut" 😂
just by listening to their whole discography you can understand the history behind them, their lyricisms is unbelievable.
also what i really love about them is the stage presence how they put all of their emotions in every word and movement, you really see that they are truly masters and professionals of their craft
plus the bond they seven have is just wow, imagine going through all the shit they had back than all together, no wonder why all of them who have such different personalities were able to become a family, this really inspires me too. it’s the most important thing i think in the group - like they could have the best skills and so on, but without this bond they have now, the group would not last long. suga once even said smth like that there are many talented kpop groups out there, but in some of them members don’t really get on well, they fight a lot, may don’t like each other. and he is right, there are such groups unfortunately. we just don’t see this. just imagining making a group so that everyone will get on well sounds crazy, bc we all different. and that difference can play in both sides - in bts’s way it worked well bc of the things they’ve been through, but in another “imaginable group”(i hate comparisons but it’s necessary here) who would be from a bigger company, those different personalities wouldn’t work for them.
i know that i can explain my love for bts forever. let me stop here, boy i wish could turn back time and started discovering them again.
p.s. sorry for my english, it’s not my first language
This song/video was from 2013, and still feels fresh. I admire their passion.
And the listener can go as deep as they wanna go
BTS will take you there.
2015 "i know why you ridicule me"
2017 : "i know why you ridicule'd me"
These changes in lyrics really says a lot about their evolution in their success
I always get the chills during the part they harmonize and the fans start singing
Your watching footage of them then and now mixed together to show you the difference of how far they have come. It's beautiful
They started lower than anyone else and climbed higher than anyone else.
came across this as i was searching up the born singer performances in anticipation of born singer being included in the official tracklist of bts' upcoming album proof,, and when i tell you i got CHILLS when you discussed the stage direction of them standing in a circle and going anti-clockwise like they were going back in time as they reminisced their past !!!!!! that is such a perfect interpretation of the song and the performance and makes so much with the intention behind proof as an anthology and born singer being the opening track ?!? my brain exploded and i may have teared up
I’m here because of your BTS videos. I can hear you’re a smart man through your reactions. Thank you for loving our Bangtan boys 💜💜💜
jimin just gets all of the men😂😭
@11:00 where there were 2 different timeline in RM’s verse were from different performances…the 20 nights was from the original but the 5 years he changed at a later performance to note the time that’s passed.
Your whole commentary around 5:15 ish...just....YES. YES, A MILLION TIMES OVER 💕
I LOVE YOU BTS army forever 😘💜💜💜💜
This cover was actually made after their debut, where the reference of "20 days", but the first time to sing it live was after 3 years from the debut, and then they included this song in their world tour, that was 5 years from the debut.
What you listened was a fan mash up of the first live version (2015) and the live from the world tour (2017)...so in one headphone you listen one live and in the other headphone the second live.
Also, they adapted the lyrics to the time they were doing the live, based on where they got.
“i’m a born singer, perhaps this is an early confession” oh they were sure from debut they wanted to do this, that this was their passion and what they were meant to do 😭 god i am so proud watching them grow up
You described it perfectly how their music pulls you in and makes you want to hear more.👏🏻👏🏻
As you spoke on what BTS made you feel....their passion and everything else....I was literally like YESSSS! He gets it!!
man is always speaking facts
i truly respect this man
I like your reaction and yes jimin is f.. King beautiful 🤗👍
I love your reactions and Jimin makes everyone smile.
please I feel in love with this channel you are so open minded and finally someone is reacting to the meaning of their songs
Sonyeondan is technically an old-fashioned term that used to be used to refer to young men in the military.)
BTS added the meaning "Beyond the Scene" in English.
Chance.
Im not gonna get tired to say this, born singer is not just a song but a feeling 😔this song is so precious💜
