Fortin Grind vs Klirrton Lichtbringer

- The Fortin Grind is becoming a staple in modern metal music. The Klirrton Lichtbringer is that of an upcoming German manufacturer. Both are classified as "clean boost" guitar pedals. When I tried the Grind I couldn't believe the tones I was able to achieve, the Lichtbringer put me right back to the same mind blowing feeling the Grind had given me. In this video I'll compare the two in a "versus" sense to help people decide which boost will best be suited for them. Let me know which one you prefer & why!

Great video Cody! I own the Grind and love it... its got an aggression to it that pushes the amp but doesnt over do it. I had two 33`s and sold those, kept the Grind. The Klirrton is eating at me tho... I like that fact that it gives you added control over the tone, so that is a plus. But honestly, re listening to this clip monitor off, I seem to turn it on when the Grind is up. Guess that says something dont it! But I put my name down for the Lichtbringer this March, will see what happens.
Thank you! They're both similar in ways for sure, but the Lichtbringer wins me over with the ability to adjust high and low. Its essentially to me what a tube screamer is to boost an amp.. you know, gain all the way down and then adjusting the tone. You'll have to let me know which one you prefer when you get the Lichtbringer. In a way I'm glad I got the Grind before I knew about the Lichtbringer, that would be a tough decision, both are fantastic! I do love the Grind though, no regrets, it adds what I was looking for to my tone. Thanks for the killer vid!
It would be a hard decision to choose only one. It all boils down to what your ear prefers 🤓

So the Lichtbringer is a TC integrated pre type pedal aswell. Interesting. Might check that out.

What are the settings on the red channel? Resonance etc? Amazing vid
Thanks! I think everything is in the middle at 12o clock to be honest. The low might be at about 10o clock. Gain is between 10 & 9 o clock. Resonance I have no idea.. I've not looked back there in awhile lol

Unfortunately, I don't remember. Something with Celestion GH12 speakers. I think it was a 4x12 that was white. I don't remember what it was called though.

What are those pickups?
They're the original pickups that came in the guitar. Gibson Tim Shaw PAFS.
