hello bro, can you help me? Which overdrive is best to boost Distortion? the fortin hexdrive or the tempest?
What are you hoping to get out of the distortion by boosting it? Hexdrive will be good if you want more of a solo boost, I'd pick the tempest for a classic tightening overdrive
Not a fan of boost/preamp/od pedals into virtual amp. The gain staging gets tricky with an interface etc in the chain.
