When I started I just stretched the way I wanted it to go. My key was not to skip a single day. The vertical splits front and back I learned a bit later. There are some videos claiming they can do this in 30 days.😂 If you don't want to land in a hospital, be careful and take your time. It can take a year or longer. The only part I find helpful is pulling your rear leg to your back at the front split. That helps a lot.
What would you say is the required flexibility prerrequisites to get the full front splits? I mean may be you require head to toe hamstring flexibility or butt to wall for hip flexors. Or in other words, what would be the exercises that when achieved, will provide you a 95% probability to get the front split? Thanks for the great channel and the great work and knowledge you provide.
So much valuable information in such a short space of time. Excellent video
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed! Have a nice stretch!

Thanks for this video. I understood the more sets I do the better. By sets do you mean staying into the pose itself?
Thank you, Emmanuelle! Absolutely I mean exactly that!
@@theflexibilityguy Oh. I've only done it once up to now. 😅
Bulge at tailors pose looks big coach Elia! Great exercises but this distracted us a bit!
Such a great vid. I'm doing only a couple of sets because I'm stretching 4-5 times a week, what do you think?
Thank you, Francesco! A couple of sets is good even though I think 3 to 4 would be even better!
how often do you recommend these stretches? how many sets and how many breaths in each position and how many times a week?
ok push down for 10 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. You answered my questions at the end of video and thanks!
@@hypekillacsplaya it's 10 breaths at least. a stretching position, to be considered effective, has to be held for at least 30".

Interested in the answer; Although I would not say prerequisite but threshold for each exercise
Hello, 2 times per week or more ?
2 times per week is ok! If you can do more, even better!
Ouch
