Was your GoPro mounted on the handlebars? If so, the gimbal feature in the GoPro HERO 7 Black is really impressive! I may opt for having the camera mounted on the handlebars over the helmet if that’s the case.
I believe cycling videos like this fall in 3 steps. First one is RAW footage Second step (more interesting) is overlaying stats (speed, heart rate, power, HR) right on video and 3rd step voice over strategy.
No power meters, no heartrate, no top speed, no distance, no Californians pausing the video every six seconds to explain what is happening. To me this is the perfect cycling video. If I had a bike cafe I would just have this kind of video playing on the walls all the time. Fantastic. p.s you are a very speedy guy!
I just 3d printed gopro mount for my bike and was so excited to go out and film it but it started to rain... So now came to watch cycling videos and this looked so good that now I'm even more excited to test my gopro! Thanks for great video Bruno! Most definately fun to watch!
I was looking for videos like this because I'm thinking of buying a gopro hero 7. Thanks to You, I already know that it will meet my requirements. PS: Good attack at the beginning;)
Loved the video, thanks. Except you stated it wasn't edited at the beginning, but it clearly is, so much so, we dont really know if it's the same low key race at the start. Maybe a longer continuous video would have greater success.
Hey, with which quality you film it? In other gopro hero7 bike videos the quality of the video is afected due to the youtube compression. I hope you can answer. Sorry for my english
Hello, i just bought a GoPro hero5 session and tried it out. Unfortunately the image isn’t still and moves from right to left. I guess that’s when I push on my right pedal it goes right and same thing when I push on my left pedal. Any solutions for this, or is it just me not sitting still enough on my bike? Your image is great and doesn’t seem to have that problem
ISO max 100 or sometimes 400. WB to daylight normally. Just make sure it is fixed and not auto. Ev-1 and I do allot of post production. I use an S-Log lut and colour correction.
Do you reduce the wind noise and the general background noise while editing your videos? I recently purchased hero 7 and while riding in the city, it's picking up a lot, like a lot of sounds and the traffic noise just drowns my voice. Any tips for this? Cheers.
@@idkwhatimdoing8929 Not quite, I think I'm going to have to record the audio separately, but before I buy an audio recorder, I'll buy a lapel mic and put it on my phone to record some audio in traffic. If I get decent results. reckon I'll go for the Zoom H1n audio recorder.

How long until a biker like this starts feeling that leg pain? They just seem to pedal for hours.. started biking 2 months ago, most I can sprint on my shitty bike is around 9 minutes and I'm dying after that. lmao
Juan, we can ride for hours because we train for hours. But I don't go to the max for hours. Sometimes we do like 5 minutes all out, but continue in a lower pace after. Just keep on riding, try to not sprint for 9 minutes but pace yourself and go for longer rides!
@@BrunoBobbink Gotcha, yeah I tend not to sprint that much... I typically pace myself for long rides, I try to daily bike for 1-2 hours, and I've lost significant weight. It also helps me that I work for amazon delivering so running to those doors sure has help with my biking stamina.
You got the worst starting position and luck in the world. You being forced to make a hard effort with legs that probably did not get much of a warm up. What was your average speed?
What did you think of these kind of video's? Never again, or fun to watch?
Fun to watch! 👍👍👍 Maybe even better if you add a voice over with some info about the route and the progress of the race.
Looks good man
Awesome!👍🚴♂️

Thanks man for the compliment, I agree I just enjoy watching someone ride in the peloton. I am not that speedy, the GoPro just makes it look fast.

I absolutely adore it! This is very motivating!
Loved this. It looked so good, I was leaning into the turns on my couch! Subscribed.
Do the same kind of video but make them longer please. This is awesome
Great video! Keep making them! I would just add running graphics as mentioned below: speed, distance, etc.
I always go to the trail and nerd out to all the expensive bikes.😂
amazing, fun to watch, is it just go pro on chest mount, i think u need extrac mic or windslayer to make better audio.
Just a GoPro under my handle bar!

I use this video to go to sleep, don't know why but it's very soothing
What did you mount your go pro on? Did you use a gimbal because that footage is super smooth? Nice one 👍
That’s just the GoPro hypersmooth option. No gimble required
gopro 7 has stabilization feature .. must have been mounted on a garmin/gopro combo outfront mount

The bike and the rider is fasssttt.
Hey, with which quality you film it? In other gopro hero7 bike videos the quality of the video is afected due to the youtube compression. I hope you can answer. Sorry for my english
I filmed in 4k I think. But I also did some post production to make it look better. You should see the original file on my computer, looks very sharp!
Insane stabilization
I just see one of them pulling breaks out of nowhere and they all get into a huge crash. At that speed I would be very nervous.
Iooks faster than it is in reality, and I never went to the max downhill.
Thank you! Great ride!
super amazing footage.. did you color correct it?
Hi
Excellent Video. Well ridden, Did you get past the orange Dogma.
Did you use a GoPro? Where did you mount the camera? And how did you keep the battery running for so long?
Bruno, where did you mount the camera? Below the handlebars?
Yes, with the HideMyBell mount!
Thanks Bruno! I wanna shoot some footage myself of a few crits, I'll try the mount you recommended
Is this footage at 30 or 60 FPS? I might get this camera
If I don't want to slow it down I shoot at 24 fps. Most of my GoPro footage is at 24 fps
