What an exhilarating ride. Quite possibly the best video you have made. Beautiful scenery, open road, and very skilled rider. Cory does not take chances on blind corners. He is always to the right in his lane on the blind corner. A great cyclist and hope to see more of him here!
Loving the flow through the corners while carrying so much speed but do you know what's even better? Cory putting the hammer down to get back up to speed. The whole thing was poetry in motion. Great video, guys!
GMR down in 12m 15s, sweet fancy moses... I'm 2 minutes off and that's like ~300/16000 on the GMR downhill to the gate. I've taken SOME corners at similar speeds but doing the whole thing pinned is madness. Even more kudos to you and Cory for doing this when GMR isn't closed to cars.

GREAT VIDEO! Reminds me of the the OLD DAYS! My old days! When I was young! Dumb! And full of #@% We used to do down hills like this those were the days when we didn't use a HELMET! I was riding a custom built TRACK Bike that was converted to road! SUPER TIGHT And SUPER FAST And it was SUPER QUICK! Totally insane! Everything was good as long as my fork would nut gunk up on me. My wildest ride was! Doing a hole shot down the middle of 3 motor cycles and clearing 3 cars on one pass! FOR SURE THOSE DAYS ARE NO MORE!

Got my Bicycling magazine today and read the article on you Safa. Very nice. So of course had to check out UA-cam and voila first video was this one. Awesome ride.
He's just at one with his bike... pro-level handling and some parts just got me flinching, especially when he took the car.... nerves of steel, confidence and skill. Not everyone has it. I've gone 63kph on a mountain down before sharp hair pins and didn't dare push it more. Not when you're unfamiliar with the route, and traffic. So I really hand it to these two excellent cyclists - you really have to traverse across the entire width of the road as you lean into the corner to take the turn, and the thought of a car showing up on the other side is just..... not worth it. Keep safe, cos one twitch is all it takes. I don't wish to ride in such manner I risk limb and life for speed. Wanna get home safe to family and to be able to live to ride another day for as many years the body is able. The pros taking on over 100km on those long mountain downs..... I'm just shaking my head in awe. Just mindset, nerve, skill, and confidence. Kudos on an exceptional descent.

That turn at 11:42 will always haunt me lol, crashed last year and suffered a broken collarbone and shoulder blade. But happy to be back on GMR, now with a lil more caution haha.
