- War Thunder Events can be a real grind but what if you had a fast and easy way to grind them out at RANK I?! Well, this tiny little tank destroyer called the Alecto I might just be the way to go!

I can't take lowtier anymore. You always get shot by some random guy from where he really, really shouldn't be, while your own team randomly stumbles around deaf and blind. It's no fun.
Top tier is that for me, while low tier is much, much less of it.

I have never made it to top teir after a decade and it’s so fun to play the milk trucks kv2 etc and no one seems to have fun at top Teir

I was named by a dev (among a few dozen others but still) when they were talking about adding the red zones in funky areas in arcade
Me being on the very top of the mountain at the middle of the map is what takes me from 10 kills to 20+
This also explains top tier, this is why middle tier is best!

The Japanese i-go-ko rank I BR 1.0 (reserve) fires 57mm HEAT.
A really fun vehicle if you don't expect to win or make an incredible amount of kills. The turret is very far forward with a very good depression, nice for shooting behind hills. Maybe in a next video?

German sigl heat, panzer 4 f2 heat, and m-51 are the best heat slingers
There is a multiplier. The higher rank, the more score you get, like rank. 7/8 only needs like 28k score total to hit 45k.
For my most fun way to do events, at least in the past was the Brit Churchill gun carrier, crusader, matilda etc. Really strong lineup and would carry a lot in those vehicles
In theory the most effective way would be to play simulator at rank VII or VIII. Because simulator gets an 80% bonus on top.
My favourite line up for air events in AB is two P-47, two P-63, a P-61 and a P-51 - all BR 4.0 and with bombs under the wings. First bomb, then go plane hunting and you easily can get between 4.000 to 6.000 points per match

I agree with a lot of what you're saying about avoiding the frustration by using a low tier vehicle to grind the events, I do feel though it's worth noting you are going to have to work harder for it this way, at least with the current call of the dragon event. Your score towards the marks of distinction isn't actually you're mission score, it's your mission score after some modifiers. So, for playing realistic battles they multiply your mission score by 1.3 I believe it is, and then you get an additional multiplication of 1.2x for using a vehicle from one of the top 2 tiers.
I don't know how this stacks as far as weather the frustration is weather that 1.2x multiplication or not, and I'm not really making this comment to argue either way, I just feel it's something worth being stated, so people know and can make their own informed decisions :)
t18, m4(105) and f4u combo for the sealclubber supreme. average about 3500 a game and got a high of 11,000 in a game
Oh yeah and btw you can bring a lineup use the event vehicle first then you can use other vehicles still counts.

pak puma is also a viable option for grinding the event. you get the puma's insane mobility and the pz IV's gun.
It isn't really the Panzer gun on the puma. The KWK 40 is different compared to the PAK 40. The PAK has a bigger propellent charge and higher velocity than the KWK. I get why you are saying that a Panzer IV's gun is on a puma. They are the same caliber, but different models.
Yeah the pak puma is an amazing tank for such events. Either the kv1b or pakpuma is my go for these events.

for ingame purposes they're effectively the same gun
pom pom. my favorite is just the good old calliope or a meme vehicle and a bomber with as big of a bomb as possible. i like chaos and it works
I use the Sd.Kfz. 234/1 from Space Race event and also the Pz.Sp.Wg.P204 from summer extreme 2023, both from Germany at 2.0 BR. They are fast and have different roles cause of their cannon, but it's fun to play them.
As a fact, when you carry another vehicle like another non-event ground or air vehicle but your first played vehicle was the event one, the points you earn with all of them count for the progress. For example, I use those vehicles with a Stuka. I think it's because it counts the entire match points, not splitted by vehicle.
have pretty much the same lineup, but stick to mostly the Pz and Nb.Fz
This vehicle makes no fucking sense and I love it.

Good video mate. Look up the Cac Woomera if you've never heard of it. I hope to see it in game some day. We also built a few other bombers too though license built British and American but customised. Example is the blenheim in game is actually an Australian configuration and we also made our own versions of Beaufort's etc.

Nah. Honestly, the best vehicle for this might just be the L-62 ANTI II. It's rank III, plus the rest of the lineup doesn't even need to be rank III to accumulate score.
If you really want to seal club, use the Pbil m/40
Great video chap, i dont do well on war thunder, despite having played it for several years (although i am getting older, reaction times etc excuses) Can anyone tell me, how do you know if one of your vehicles is an event vehicle? 👍🤙🖖🤘👌✌

rank 1-2 germany premium seal clubbing is something else
personally i like to use a 7.7 french line up,. 80% of the matches you play are up tiers but i can get consistently get 5-6 kill each match.
I got the veak 40 and a saab 105
Generally get the saab going and the veak got good enough pen to do stuff on the ground when it doesnt swat enemy planes
My Fav. lineup for events is germany 5.0 with the KW I C or the 9.0 lineup with the TAM and TAM 2 IP
Well ... one might say about seal clubbers what ever they like but there's a simple truth:
The best way to keep seal clubbing at bay is having more seal clubbers as they'll go for each other, leveling out the playing field again
My favorite grind line up is m4 hybrid, m4a4, m42, and m24. This is my 3.7 Italy lineup and it destroys
I love this dinky car, it claps even in 5.3 beside my TOG II
my favourite low tier event vehicle is the BT-7 with the F-32 gun.

You can also try swedish 2.7 by using l62 anti 2 since its era 3
Of 40's in Italy the 2 9.0's and the prem g91 with bombs it slaps. to me the of 40 is just a better leo 1
And then we get the Swedish SPAA at 2.7 as the poor man's grind vehicle.

Anyway, I think the best way is any lineup you're comfortable with. I'm using my US 8.3 one atm and it's kicking ass. Getting some with each event mark thing in 3ish hours and am already a third of a way to the upgrade coupon.
It lets me do the base challenges with rank 2 rather than 3 i noticed this as i dont have rank 3 but was gaining points
my best way to do this event is playing 8.3 and do Rush > Die > Repeat tactics 😆 guaranteed 86% work most of the time and only take me 3.5 hours
Best way to grind a war thunder event is to work a job.
On 12:30 trying to range, i always use capture points as reference.
I was Reletively new to the game when the event with the electro came out I got the electro still stoked that I somehow understood it lol
How do you switch bombs and how do you get the fuel time engine temp and all of that in planes?
Bomb switching can be done with the weapon selector.
Fuel timer, engine temp, etc. Is somewhere in the setting/options.

Can you use lower br Premium vehicles or is it event vehicles only for the event.
When it says "Event", than they mean Event i think.
Uhh why would you just not use BunnyWagon, aka the Sd.Kfz. 234/1? BunnyWagon goes fast as Sonic and has 20mm happy fun time gun. That said I like the little Turan II, great HEAT round and can take quite a bit of damage.
A vehicle i use that is kinda toxic, maybe. Its a rank 3 swedish spaa at 2.7. btw u just need one rank 3 vehicle that isint an event at u can grind the event, so u can have one r3 and rest r2. Same with event vehicles so 1 event and rest tech tree

Meh the best way to grind the event for me is using all the event pumas, the stubby 75,20mm, and the mini puma
Play puma (3.3 variant) at 10.0 until you get a kill

indeed. the alecto is hot trash. the first and only event vehicle i bothered to grind, and it was quite a disappointment. it can be fun sometimes, and it's quite unique. but other than that it just gets eaten alive by autocannons and small caliber cannons, oh and CAS and arty too!
@@sneakycactus8815 It is not that great at its own BR, but if you take it somewhere between 3.7-5.3 and play it as sneaky TD, kinda like ASU-57, it works out great, especially if you play against blind german mains

If you are a normal human being that works a normal job this 45k score with the same 2 day time restrain is impossible to do, not to mention if you want the coupon.
I work between 40 and 50 hours a week. It's not that hard. About 2 hours a day, less if you have a good win streak.
