I bought this 2010 ES350 from the second owner w 148800 miles and he had it serviced at Lexus since he had it in 2012..
But today I talk about the potential MAJOR issues these 3.5 engines can have ..

I own a black 2010 ES 350 bought it with 114,000 miles and now has 161,000 miles. They put in some good effort when they were building these cars it drives like it’s brand new, the engine is so quiet you sometimes don’t even know the car is on and that’s what I like about having a car with high miles; drives like brand new I’m obsessed with my car. I love it so much.

I just bought a 2011 ES 350 with the exact same miles. Replaced an O2 sensor and put on new tires. Smooth and quiet, I would drive it anywhere.

What I notice from other owners is everyone who gets this car loves it, myself included, I bought my 2014 es 350 less than a week ago and it had 82k KM on or 50k Miles, it's a 10 year old car that drives like it was made yesterday.

Also, the auto leveling headlights and the adaptive front lighting system are like two of my favorite features
bought an 08 with the ultra luxury package and 182k on it, replaced the stabilizer links in the rear and two front tires, i love it

@@BaldadonisMike2021 when I bought the car it had 116k miles and that was almost 2 years ago. Now it has 163k miles.
I own a 2007 lexus ES350...and I am very happy with it. I got it with 96,000 miles and now it has about 130,000. Very reliable car. He hasn't let me down yet...although I had some minor faults. I think I'm the only one who has this model in Bosnia and it's a bit difficult to get parts. Greetings to all like-minded people and Lexus drivers!

Just bought a 2010 with 144k miles.. had to replace the flex pipe. DRIVES LIKE A DREAM NOW! Super quiet and smooth . 10 outta 10 would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love my 2008 Lexus ES 350. It's interior is still till this day second to none! I have all black leather seats and cherry oak woodgrain all over the car even the steering wheel. The headlights move and adjust to the cars direction and always levels out the light for great night vision. Did I mention this option came standard on the 2008 Lexus ES 350? My wife has a 2020 Cadillac but my Lexus has almost as many options as hers does. This car drives so smooth and powerful. And did I mention it has over 260,000 miles on it? I would drive this car anywhere and I know it would make it there and back with no problems.

@@BaldadonisMike2021 All I have ever had to do outside of regular maintenance is replace the catalytic converter and battery.
Just picked up a 2008 es350 with 135,000 miles. Drives smooth and very quiet. Hope it lasts a long time.
Congrats on your new Es350! Change the oil sooner then later(4-5k miles) and change the trans fluid -then enjoy!
My 07 has 255000 miles on it so far .Bought it at 185000 miles back in July 2017 . Best damn car I've ever owned. I see yours is the same color as mine. My 26 year old daughter called it an " old man's car" So I handed her the keys and said " Before you condenm it go ahead and drive it " .after an hour of driving it she fell in love with it .Now she wants one😊.

@@BaldadonisMike2021 I bought it used at around 50K and have had no issues whatsoever. I have a very good mechanic close by where I live and he’s done practically all of the servicing. Keeping the fluids drained and flushed as recommended has helped and changing the oil every 3K miles. Plus I live in central NC where the weather is moderate for the most part so that’s probably helped too.

I have a 2011 es . With 171k I replaced the front and rear shocks , axels , ball joints , and lower control arms front and rear . All this with in this past year . I’m gonna switch out a couple more things so I can push it to 250k
at 171000 im sure those was original parts? unless you live in heavy pot hole location ?Otherwise the car runs great?

Any problems with white paint flaking off? I have that on my pearl white 2008 ES350.
I only had it for a few months..Original owner had it garaged ..I haven't heard of Lexus paint being bad like Honda paint..But I owned several Toyota /Lexus cars and I don't recall any paint issues

I have a 2010, excellent condition, bought it in 2022 with 105k miles now has 120k miles. I can't get the damn TPS light to go off! I even got a set of new tires on it, but the damn light stays on. I took it to Toyota and they were able to get it off, but it came back on the next day! any suggestions?

@@chanelporter8227 Sometimes you have to have the light turned off at the dealer or someone with a good scanner..I had issues with other Lexus/Toyota vehicles for the same issue...also you might have a bad sensor..Did they check the sensors? Its a scanner they just go up to the wheel and will tell you if its good or not
I've had 2 lexus cars.....never a problem driving them or selling them!

I have 2007 but last year I started to experience transmission flares which seems comon. It has 162k now. Baout it \ith 124k and I believe it wasn't taken care of for that service
Just services the transmission hopefully you catch it on time but I had a BMW that ad 210000 miles and it needed the transmission fluid changed w Lucus transmission additive and it was fine after that ..good luck and let me know what happened ,ty for the comment
I just bought a 2009 Es 350 and it appears to have a transmission leak. I took it back to the dealer and they had their mechanic fix it or so it appeared, only to find the same issue of leaking. I’m thinking just buying another very low mileage transmission. By the way, my Lexus ES 350 2009 only have 123,000 miles. The transmission shift smoothly but something is wrong because I can see the leaking, hear a rumbling, growling, vibration noise at 20 to 25 miles per hour. Give me some advice please.
I never heard that before, unless previous owner beat the crap out of it..leaving it low gear etc..you bought it from a Lexus dealer or small dealership? Smaller dealers might be the issue as they have anyone work on their cars..whats the name of the dealership? axle might be bad as its front wheel drive and maybe it was damaged ,did you run a carfax on it?
@@BaldadonisMike2021 I bought it from a small dealership overseas. The Lexus was shipped directly from Japan 15 years ago so there's no Carfax, however, I was able to get the complete history maintenance records from the original Toyota/Lexus. The transmission still changes smoothly but that leak. Yes, I did change the CV joints, but no, it wasn't that.

@@averyj.steele1074 2005 should have a timing belt..stick with newer car but if you dont mind the older 1 just keep in mind it does have a timing belt just more maintenance and see if it has been replaced w the water pump..let me know what you get!

I found a 2008 Lexus ES 350 for $5500 and it has 256,000 miles on it is it worth buying? They said they've kept up with it and bought it from a dealership in 2009 with 26,000 miles on it and they're the only owners. They're older ppl and he wanted to get his wife something newer. I haven't had my husband look at it or a mechanic. We also will be test driving it tomorrow.
Good question..Does the owner have the service records? Hows the paint/interior ? Is it Southern car or up in the North(any rust if North) I just looked at NADA book value..thats what dealerships/banks/insurance companies/DMV use and the high end is $4900..If it is nice shape w nice tires,,a/c works etc..offer $3500-$4000 ..unless he has several $1000s in repair receipts then do what you think best..but have a garage look it if you feel you need to..did you drive it?
I'm picking up my 2010 ES350 with 205k miles for $5500 this Saturday in the PNW! I can't wait!! Carfax is great and it's mostly a California car so I predict mostly highway miles as a commuter which is so good on the car.
For yours I'd be closer to $5k depending on current tire condition and if it comes with or without a second set of tires.

@@magic1997 Sold mine for $10800..Miles are nothing on these cars..just make sure the services been kept up ..a/c work? As always..cash talks while with the owner and see if he ll take $4500 cash..then go up slowly if he says no..lol..let me know if you get it!

According to the owner, the only thing the car has is one rear tire sensor might need replacing and the car may need Freon. I think I might piss him off by lowballing him at $4500. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to get the car art he lowest possible price, but I’d hate for the seller to walk away pissed off thinking I’m. It a serious buyer. I’m also trying to figure out….if you sold your car for $10,800 with 149k, how can you think that this one with 42k more miles be 50% less in price. Does the mileage drop the price that much?? Do these require premium fuel?
For the 2007 through 2010 models, they did require premium fuel. The 2011 through 2012 models they refined the engine so it could run on regular fuel.

Is there a huge difference between the reliability of the es350 vs es330?
330 is a timing belt engine so more maintenance -but very good reliability -if you are looking for one..pick the es350..
Did anyone here have the timing cover oil leak on their Lexus es 359? And the small leak turn into a big leak?

Yes I've been looking at a few that are for sale and I've heard good things about that 2GR-FE V6 provided you maintain them, Toyota put em in a lot of cars. I hear ya on the head room/visibility and I'm 5'9", but I could live with it.

Some models do not have it -you have to get under your car to see if it does, most do have it though..

I just bought my 2010 Lexus ES350 with 112,000 miles! Everything works except the AC comes on when it wants too. It’s full of Freon and it’s not leaking, the fans turn on but it only turns on when it wants to. Anyone else have this issue?
have you tried opening the vents? Silly I know...but some people will close them and forget to open them..look in your settings as well..might be something off..
you have navi w the screen? Go to those settings ....
The vents are open. The navigation system I have to play with it for the condenser and fans to turn on
