Listening to the sound of that Toyota 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 will never get old 👏👏 it’s an ancient engine but it’s a good one. I have a church member who has this generation Lexus ES 350 and it’s a perfect daily driver that’ll be comfortable. If you were looking for a comfortable luxury cruiser back in 2010, I’d say this was one of the top contenders. The ES is literally the epitome of what Lexus built its reputation on back when Toyota launched the brand in 1989.
You and me both talk about a quiet, reliable engine and especially in the Lexus. You don’t even hear it. I feel a lot of people underestimate this car, but I’m the one laughing when I hit the gas , and the other cars are way in the back distance, is why I like that the ES 350 continues to use the V6 engine.
@@RC-117 I hope they never stop making it man, you're right, people don't expect it take off like that. Love my ES so much, I only just got her a week ago, 2014 with 50k miles, runs like a dream.
@@RC-117 Yes sir, I have one too, at a red light people will change lanes to beat me, and they get left for dust hahaha. They should put some respect on that 350 badge :D.

Had one of these for over 7 yrs. Purchased with 21,000 mi and traded at over 100,000 mi. It was a great car with notable reliability and comfort. I got compliments of the car constantly, more so than I have so than any other car, even the newer Lexus that I own.
I must say the 2007 through 2012 generation ES 350 is the best looking. That’s why I love mine for the 2010 model. They did that cosmetic freshness and updates. It has a very sleek look, the way the roof floats into the trunk, the chrome door handles, and I really like the lower chrome trim on the doors; it looks so good, not fond of the 2013 through 2018 generation of course I love the interior and how it looks, but I love my body style. I always look at my car and just say how sexy it is. I have black, but unfortunately, the tan interior but the car looks good in black with the tinted windows.
I have this same car in black. I love, and am obsessed with it. It’s a luxury car and that’s what I wanted but this car is a sleeper and it is true. You are so isolated from the outside. The engine is always so quiet. You barely even hear it compared to like the RX 350 where the engine is loud. Mine has about 165K and it drives like it has 5 miles on it. I appreciate the quality of Lexus and it’s the only brand that I will continue to ever drive. The car is a sleeper, especially having 3.5 V6 when you need it! Mine is just missing the rear power sunshade, but I got over it lol
@@maxpower9175 it’s so annoying because Lexus had so many standalone features you know, and my car has the navigation with the back up camera. I have the parking sensors. I have the HID adaptive headlights, and I’m just so curious as to why mine does not have the rear power sunshade. It’s annoying. I had that in my Nissan Maxima and I miss it so much.
I've been driving a es300 since I bought it new in 94. Decided to buy a 'new' car and test drove a lit of different cars. In the end i bought a 2007 es350 with 68k miles. The car is in immaculate condition and was religiously maintained by the original owner. I like the car so much. It's not a sporty car, but im looking for comfort and this car delivers. It still has plenty of power for passing and mountain driving despite not being a sport model. I couldn't be happier.
That is the same reason I bought my 2010 ES 350. I’m more of a luxury car person than a sports car person and this car delivers and exactly what you said it’s all about comfort not about sportiness. Whenever I’m on the highway, I just feel like I’m riding on a cloud and I enjoy just taking cruises in this car because it is so comfortable, and that’s what I wanted a comfortable soft ride; which Lexus delivers. I will be keeping this car forever. For a 2010 it only has about 165K and that’s baby miles for the 3.5 2GR-FE engine that truly is of its generation and lasts.

The 2007-2010 had 272 hp, and required premium fuel. In 2011 they revised the engine so it could run on regular gas, and it just lost 4 hp, down to 268 hp.
