I have this vehicle. Have fun changing your transmission fluid. The guys at the shop literally had to remove an engine mount just to get to the reservoir. They charged me $100 just for the labor. Oh and make sure you always have your headlights set to "auto". The lights do not go off automatically when you turn the car off. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to jump this car just because I left the lights on.

I bought my 2013 Trail Team FJ as a CPO car with 14k miles in 2014 for 31k. The original owner didnt like the views from the dirvers seat. I guess they didnt like using their mirrors. I now have 338K and have only replaced the rear control arms and drive shaft u bolts (located inside the rear diff). I love it and so does everyone that sees it. Now if I could just find an OEM drivers seat as Ive worn out not only the seat fabric but the back rest fabric as well. Ive never missed an oil change and run only synthetic but messed up by not installing seat covers at the time of my purchase

I found the perfect one right near me but the dealer said something about not being a to get a title or something. You have excellent taste in vehicles. What you showed in this video are all things I’ve considered at one time or another. Also we are from the same part of the world.

i use to go there all the time back in the late 60's. I've yet to see the original twin bridges. I guess they dont exist any more. so sad.

Ne PA here. Just got an 07 FJ. 176K. I am using Linex to do my under carriage. This will be the 3rd vehicle they have done for me. I tried Fluid Film on my 03 F250 and it was like putting Lipstick On A Pig. Getting the rust off and doing a proper coating and yearly touch up is the way to go. Love your FJ. Keep it going! Yes I still have my Ford F250 Diesel with 73K on it.

I was thinking of getting for step daughter.if she doesn't change herway i would want to sale and get my money back... I bought an Audi a4 b8 from 2010 about two years ago and have drove about 13k miles on and right now with 103k miles and I’m scared that one day it will start to consume oil but haven’t noticed any oil consumption whatsoever and was even reassured by the mechanic too. Does anyone know if the oil consumption issue is just a matter of time or is it possible that it’s just luck

Blue 2012 Honda Fit Sport manual tranny with around 120K miles. I love this car. Mine has seen a bit more road wear given it's been camping and beaching from the beginning, but still in great shape and runs like a dream. Honda offered me $4500 for it recently which I thought was a bit low given they can likely sell it for 9 or 10. I'm like Radu, after 12 years, I'm considering a new car. We'll see.

I have a 2010 honda fit sport automatic. 265,000 miles so far. Running great. I did put new drum breaks in the rear. They were grinding a good bit. $600 installed. I plan to continue driving this car until "the wheels fall off".

Do these require premium fuel?

What I notice from other owners is everyone who gets this car loves it, myself included, I bought my 2014 es 350 less than a week ago and it had 82k KM on or 50k Miles, it's a 10 year old car that drives like it was made yesterday.

Just bought a 2014 A4 Black Optic, Premium Plus, Sport Package for my son. It has 98k miles, and right away I need to replace the timing chain, tensioner assembly, etc. - it's at -9.47. The brakes will need to be done in a few months as well. Other than that, the car is super clean and in good shape. If you buy one of these, be prepared to spend at least an extra $3 to $5k getting it up to speed on maintenance..

Also, what kind of soap did you use for the engine?

Just a quick question for you. I live in Massachusetts so right next door to you. I’ve had my A5 since 2009 and am just hesitating to buy a new car since it’s paid off. I have 93,000 miles. So my question is do you play the music from your phone through Bluetooth? That is the one issue I’ve had with this car. I actually have an old iPhone 4 hooked up in the glovebox with the AMI. Was wondering how you listen to your music with your phone. Thanks!

#5 goes bad often. My 2015 ate two in a year. Used Bosch, however it failed after 12k miles. There are fiberglass silicone sleeves on the coil plug stem. Heat protectors... add if missing.

Depends on where it lived. I had a 2017 Hyundia Tucson limited at 160000 km, the transmission, awd coupler and and intercooler went at a $6000 to repair, that along with calipers and rotors not lasting a year spurred me to dump it on a trade in. Trade in value $3000 as is or $9000 repaired. In 2017 that car was $40,000. I'm blaming bad roads and salt as I live in the north east.

They (the Honda Fit) Are amazing cars! Have owned two of them 2007, and 2019 (still have the 2019). If you take care of it-properly/maintain it well, it will run forever. Easy 400 000 miles, 500 000 and more. No problem. How (one might ask), quality engineering and build. Very simple. I tried that same concept w Mercedes, nope! Never again. No matter how well you maintain it, it’s just not Honda 🥰. And yes, IT IS SHARP LOOKING! Heard it from me! ☺️

We bought 2013 Venza, love the car. We had a timing chain break, caused us to buy a new engine. However we are happy. We have owned several Toyotas, including a Tundra with 5 odometer turn overs, still going original engine. Love em!

I have a 2016 GLA 250, experiencing the exact same issue, the gearbox feels so delayed, when i overtake a car the car jerks hard, if i accelerate heavy, the car jerks hard with no engine lights coming on and this has been so for 2 years, the dealer assumed its the diff and charged me 5000 ZAR to replace diff oil and yet the issue still remains the same, thank you for the video i will try and change this sensor and provide feedback once done.
