I cannot even figure out how to log into 6.0!!!???? I just grabbed my 6th K series, in this case the K2 Plus, and I cannot even log into 6.0??? They got rid of the log in option on the top right corner...WTF??
To recover from the CFS issue I reinstalled CP6 and it started working again. I think it's related to a configuration option but I have no idea what it was.
I have had issues as well but since I print ONLY PETG. And not crealitys brand, Generic. For the internet issue, this is happening to me in crealitys cloud, cant connect the camera but the printer is always auto recognized and up as long as I am using the 2.4 and NOT the 5 gz connection. The problem isnt crealitys 6.0 alone, latest firmware and fix interfere with the printers autoflow and doesnt really sync the filament profiles with the printer. With petg, unless you have a profile that works (generic petg is a difficult child), you wont be able to print it as the autoflow isnt really working anymore because creality has set the settings for their PLA which I DO NOT PRINT. The issue with the bed dropping to 140 after getting to 260 with PETG is very annoying and time consuming. Creality had said to do a calibration so that the printer takes those values and not default to 140, but this wasnt like this in version 57. So I downgraded the firmware to that and still use CP 6.0. The new firmware would also default to a petg temperature of 220 which can cause all sorts of trouble. I am not touching the latest again until they fix those issues. Now I did have a profile before, I just had to force the printer to recognize it, because if you dont assign the profile it will go straight to defaults which DO NOT work for my particular brand. CP 6 doesnt allow you to modify their generic petg default values, they have to be saved as a copy. Make sure you check the fan, below 20, flow, and print speed as I repeat the machine isnt compensating for lack of knowledge anymore. If you dont it will give you lots of clogs, bc this machine is way to fast and the fan settings, speed and petg melting point do not match in the generic profile. When you downgrade the firmware, do a system reset again to delete the old info as those values stay there even after you have downgraded. The update do NOT solve issues with PETG, a working profile fixes these issues.
@@Scratch3DPrinting 100% agree. Hey I just noticed the printers camera works in creality cloud as long as creality print isnt open. I had to downgrade to V 57 (because of petg) and kept using CP 6.0
I’m having problems connecting my printer too I can’t even connect it using the ip address however it may be baca use I am using the Creality box to connect it
I had network issues too and text size issues. Finally got it to reconnect to the printer, lost interest and rolled back to 5.2! Love the K2 but it's quite high maintenance!

hey man how are you i had that problem with the online problem but then i notes that theres a new firmware update for the k2 plus two days old check it out let me know if it works for you
@Scratch3DPrinting only way I can print now is to export to the usb thumb drive. Whatever they did has made it to even using orca slicer won't work any more
I'm an advocate for orca slicer, unfortunately it doesn't work with CFS., so either you send it to the printer and do it there or might as well use CP5.
My go to slicer is Orca. Unfortunately, the K2 Plus profile inside Orca doesn't compensate for the CFS well. From what I've heard and gathered, the filament cutting feature doesn't work very well, could be a gcode error. I had multiple errors which led to my CFS not retracting properly causing it to jam and clog inside the extruder. Since I went back to Creality Print, all my issues gone away.
I stopped using CP6. Creality support themselves said it's buggy and asked me to use CP5. Can't see the point of releasing CP6 and asked us to test. I'm not a bambu fan nor I have any bambu printers, but now wishing I probably should. The amount of broken extruder on reddit, clogs, bed levelling issue, simply mind boggling. And now issues caused by firmware updates, creality print....my goodness...I'm it's not a cheap printer. I got voron, merc hydra, ratrig printers, so I'm not exactly a virgin, so this probably be my first and last creality.
Yeah, Creality should have done more testing on CP6 before even releasing to the public. If they have a beta program for their new slicer I would gladly join and do testing and give feedback before they release to the public.
This video is no where near long enough for everything wrong with this slicer right now. Start with it choosing the default profiles rather than used profiles all the way through randomly picking filament even when set up when you hit slice.
creating you is a company that is about to sink, does not respect product guarantees to customers and presents new products with more deficiencies than improvements
I have different type of crealitys but i been changing to anycubic and bambu and ending realized that creality printers a good dor the price when you start learning 3d printing but just start learning after that you realized that brand is a piece of crap with decent quality but a lot of problems and maintenance a lot not worth like i said when you jump to 700 and up printer choose something else creality is good for 200s or 250s
As long as Creality will keep trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to firmware and their slicers it will look like this. Stop trying to do it, it does not work, look how they did the pin connections for their printers on the Klipper they used? Quite atrocious.
I cannot even figure out how to log into 6.0!!!???? I just grabbed my 6th K series, in this case the K2 Plus, and I cannot even log into 6.0??? They got rid of the log in option on the top right corner...WTF??
The login option is in the top left, click Creality Logo and you'll get to the login page.
Same exact problem here. I have several k1 max, k1 and now a k2 and v6 doesn’t recognize their own brand printers. Insane.
Yeah it's pretty lame for the version 6 to come out like this.
I can't even choose the fillament to print, my cfs didn't connect to the software, K2Plus
Yeah many problems with the cfs, let's hope they make updates and fixes everything before doing another release.
There was another update. Don't know if it's fixed the issues as I don't have a K2.
The issues still there on the new update.
Installed cp6 and the resulting files are causing error2060 on the k1c. Go back to v5.1 and everything is fine.
Yeah CP 6 is really trouble some as of now, I recommend using 5.1 until cp6 is stable.
To recover from the CFS issue I reinstalled CP6 and it started working again. I think it's related to a configuration option but I have no idea what it was.
interesting, I might do that too and see if it works.
when i use a vpn it wont connect to my printer like that soon as i turn it off it shows up
interesting, I don't use VPN and it still has the issues.
I have had issues as well but since I print ONLY PETG. And not crealitys brand, Generic.

Yeah so many problems with the new firmware and the slicer. Which creality really need to up their game and get things in place.

Yeah same, but it seems like the latest update is better.

Haha yeah I also went back to v5.
yup 100% i was able to get software to see the printer., but the automap/sync still does not work. You also get lag when dragging the side bar around
Yeah those are the things that people will use the most and its the ones that has problem.

To recover from this network oddity I had to disable and reenable the network from the front panel. Then I rescanned and added from CP6.
I guess it just needed a reset for CP6 to work then.
@@Scratch3DPrinting It still randomly removes my filament profiles.

Hello, doing good. Yeah I have it updated to the latest firmware but the issues is still happening from time to time.
Now my slicer crashes every time I press send print. cool new update
haha right, Creality is really good with these update, crashing them for the users.
@Scratch3DPrinting only way I can print now is to export to the usb thumb drive.

yeah what @psx1986 said, Orcaslicer does not yet support the CFS and does not have a proper K2 Plus profile.
Interesting... Mine works great on Creality Print 6.0. Have you tried connecting it via LAN?
I connect it using the IP address but for some reason half of the time it does not recognize that the 3d printer is on.

You shouldn't have rooted it
I did not root my k2.
