Unless they completely redesigned it, an 80w battery would probably make it just as heavy as the 8ai. The OG claw already feels dense. Solid but dense. Idk if I would want that form factor to be any heavier
@@EthanCarey-p8k rog ally x not so much different in term of weight compared to deck oled, and it have 80 w/hr battery. if they tried lil bit harder, they def could pulled it off
They hit a good timing, these are gonna come out soon enough everywhere, while the legion go z2extreme will probably take a long time.. and when it comes out it probably is going to be similar performance, dont think its gonna be much higher
I was actually considering getting the 8 ai+ if I can't get a 5080 but I think it might be better to just wait for the Ally 2 or whatever they're going to call it, these things improve so fast it's hard to pull the trigger on buying one because I don't want to regret it.
Prime you should make a usb track pad you can stick on the msi claw and other hand helds missing a track pad. I think it will be easy to manufacture and would sell like hot cakes for people that want that functionality when using the handheld as a windows machine. What you think?
the claw 2 performs a good amount better, if you didn't already have an ally x then I would jump straight into a claw 7 or 8, but one of the new ones, not the 155H one
Would love to get one of these but I literally just got an actual current generation gaming laptop and it has been great. Would love to see what this kind of system could do as a Vr gaming portable rig.
So basically twice the price of the Z1E Ally that is going now for less $400 (accounting for included gamepass and $50 case ) but with 10x the bugs and performance issues when playing older games. No thanks.
they developed both at the same time. the plan the entire time was to release this as the successor to the first one, and the 8+ is just a bigger version. no idea what you're talking about with "pumping out products"
For some reason the claw 8 is a difficult device to find considering it supposedly released 1/15. Had planned to play on one till the lgo2 came out. Hope MSI can fix their supply issue
So crazy how many handhelds have come out already but owning a Rog Ally Z1E I see no real incentive to upgrade yet for my specific use case. I want an OLED VRR screen, more ram, higher significant performance, minimum 80wh battery, 1tb storage, egpu support, 8in screen bezeless, hall effect sticks
Zotact zone 2 coming out! higher battery a myth did gameboy or gameboy sp or nintendo ds or psvita had a higher battery improvement NO its a handheld ppl need to accept that!
@@TVCHLORD i agree, im glad i waited out & cause now zotact zone fullfil my wet dream the only thing is the bezel it needs to be slimmer & the screen wider like the OLED steam screen its 7.4 inch! hope zotact zone can stretches to 7.5 inchs. i even reach out to support team!
You can play at low TDP but you lose so much performance, these chips from intel and amd are not made for low TDP gaming, Steam deck is the only one with custom chip that is able to run from 3-15w without any issue.
How PC handheld's second versions always come so fast like Asus Rog Ally X was relased a year after Asus Rog Ally and now there's already coming MSi Claw 2 after a year of MSi Claw's launch? PC handhelds technology have evolved surprisilly fast there's a lot of handhelds before even Switch 2 reveal like we got Lenovo Legion Go S just before Switch 2 I like handheld PCs, but I'll wait for Switch 2: Here we go!
they released this one so soon after the first one because the 155H version was so garbage that no one was buying it. every video was like "yeah man the battery sucks, the performance sucks, the compatibility sucks, basically just don't buy this" so of course if even nerds aren't touching it with a 10 foot pole then it's a complete flop. they needed something that would actually sell
I've got to give props to MSI....for the most dumb name on a handhled. -Oh what is that -I'm just playing in my MSI Claw 7 AI+ A2VM -Dude are you alright?
I use my ROG Ally mostly docked and with an Xbox controller, does that power button in the game bar actually turn off the claw? Would be fantastic if Asus gets integration with the game bar if it does
After havin onexfly f1 pro with oled..I just can’t see myself goin back hahaha oled..if you’ve never had it is a game changer. I understand the oled arguement now
Been watching eta prime back when he did videos about the raspberry pi. I like he keeps us up to date with the lastest tech before anyone other content creator, But man show us different games theres like hundreds of video game titles and we watching the same games different handheld consistently. Cyber punk spider-man, street fighter, and forza been shown when aya, gpd, and onex first released there handheld. I get content creating a busy job. But man you becoming a hording collector 200 plus handheld in youre collection but all the same games? Switch it up please.
Like how links to buy and info to these models and options and also MSI 8ai etc are nowhere to be seen or pinned in comment or description but cdkeys for windows and office are??? Really helpful there not!!! 😢
I don't know man I like the newer MSI claw but I just don't like the fact that I can't do much with them without their Intel chips so I rather just stick with any Handheld PC that has an AMD chip on it or AMD software with it 👍
No touchpad + using AI in the name = no thanks, no matter how the core hardware performs (which is not bad at all), cringy keyword scraping name is an automatic non-purchase
53whr battery is criminal

It is possible to connect to bigger battery.

Can you mention the price next time 👍
Should be about $800 for what it's worth.
He never mentions price
He sometimes forgets to mention the price but if its already released then it should be in the link in the description.
5:40 Bro, what is that custom cover for Crisis remaster 😭?
Wong Kar Wai-esque ShrekXDFrieren
5:39 LMFAO THAT CRYSIS REMASTERED CUSTOM BANNER 😂😂😭😭😭
I will personally never buy anything with less than an 80wr battery unless we get significantly more efficient batteries.
This one looks so much better then the default claw 2 pattern/color

Play at 720p
Dload LSFG if that game doesnt support fsr3 then cap games at 30fps with 2x framegen
Pretty sure this can do well at 5w

Looks great 👍
Nice review. That's a lot of settings. Overall I like it but until the price drops on these handhelds i'm kinda priced out.
Oh god it has an Intel inside sticker
Thank you for the Fortnite showing! Appreciated.

For the price, I'd get the Ally X
but the claw 2 performs better
@XxfieryfirexX Not by much and the better battery life makes a big difference. This sould have had the same 80Wh battery the Claw8 has.

@HearMeLearn No, it doesn't. And again the battery life is a big factor here. For the same price the Ally X provides a lot more value.
What about the speakers? The same as on the 8?
So sad no vrr oled screen with, would have considered, but also the battery should have been 80wh… maybe next year i’ll consider
Lol, that Crysis Remastered splash art
I was hopping to see RT performance
😂😂😂
I prefer this design over the Claw 8 AI+

I'm waiting to see a Z2 extreme handheld with a decent battery size
I wish they would have named it Claw 2!
Didn't we just get the 8ai+? They are tuning into ayaneo pumping out products
it's similar to the 3DS and 3DS XL situation, the 8ai+ has the bigger screen and more battery but the rest of the hardware is the same.
