This is in my top ten favorite albums right now. I love how many people don't get it too, and it feels very extra special because of that. I'm glad that La Roux didnt capitalize on the sound that the mainstream expects from her, and that she went her own direction. It seems like a lot of people just don't understand this album. I think life experience really grew my love for this album even more than when I first heard it. I can tell when something is special, and this is it. You will for ever have my respect and admiration La Roux. You have no idea how much this album has helped with retrospection for my own relationship with my partner and my own independence. I proudly bought the vynl for this album. 10/10 for me. I relate to the lyrics so deeply. For me it describes the feeling of being stuck and not sure whether you are going crazy or if its really that the world around you is going crazy. This song specifically is a great representation of the change and heartbreak that I have experienced in my own life. How the dreams I have chased haven't ever turned out the way I expected. The realization of the dreams you have being an inside job. Thank you so much for this gift of an album.

Some weeks afterwards, "Supervision" was announced, which I ordered immediately. La Roux has now become one of my top artists on my playlist.
I was listening to this song and my sister asked me what I was listening to and I showed it her that it was by La Roux and she looked surprised and asked if it was new and I told her yeah and she looked for it and started to listen. She told me that she used to listen to La Roux when she was a teenager. The nostalgia this brought her.
