There are a lot bug with it, but i managed to haul hydrogen from seraph to baijini back to back like 3 times, making 300k+ every run. You just shouldn't use docking ports just EVA in. And spam cargo deck when they are not responding lol. I wouldn't recommend doing hauling missions hull-C or not. They are just a bug in the game i only did the first since 3.24 lol. But the freight elevator feature is good when it works as intended.

CIG had one job for this patch: make cargo working as Intended, and it still fails spectacularly even after several hot patches. BTW, the Hull C was broken even before the cargo patch, so they didn't care. If I'd be that sloppy or incompetent at my job I'd be fired immediately, but I admit I'm accountable for what I do.
Just losing one load of cargo that you purchased due to bugs like this sets you back massively. It is just been in such a sad state pretty much since the ship was added to game.

You can close Hull C with cargo, I didi it many times, and like that you can refuel or repair on landing pads outside station. maybe if you close spindels with cargo in unload area and open them, it could work to unload cargo in box marker.
The reason you got impounded is because you stayed longer at the loading area. You have 30 seconds to move out of the square box area. If you don't move out the vehicle will get impounded. If you go 3rd person view, ypu will not be able to see the warning.
Time allowing I spawn ATLS every time I pass through a frequently visited hangar. You can claim them and they still sit there. From owning 1 ATLS I now have about a dozen of them around Stanton.
They should give them landingpads also cargo elevators, they kinda there but not implemented. Then u could unload at the pad. Ofc also just making the unloading work would be good too.

the loading phase has never worked for me in the last few weeks, so I can't tell you what would happen during the delivery phase. Ps. the tractor pulls you if you first change mode with "b"
That is so sad to have always many bugs in the game. I have had also during salvaging with vulture reclaimer. Also in Bunker Missions or with other hauling missions and doing mining. Hope so much that they will fix more.
If you take off the bottom two spindles you can load up using cargo services, impound at the destination and unload in your hanger with less physics issues ;)
As soon as they showed that the C was gonna be a whole different style \ system for cargo I immediately lost interest, but I'm glad you're having some silly fun with this waste of space money haha
park it close to the landing pads outside, go to the hangar and call a argo atls and put it to the side. then a hercules c2. Now fly the C2 to the Hull C, fill it, bring it to the hangar, make it empty with the atls. repeat to get all the cargo 😁😁
Was thinking with friends you could call for docking and just not enter. Have them pull the boxes in while ship sits just outside. Might take a few cycles depending on which tractors they use. If they can even pass through the doors threshold. Could end up being like the issue with the invisible wall that you cant tractor past in the cargo elevators on the door side of hangars

Man this ship being broken for so long is such a dissapointment. I really enjoyed the loop of large amounts of cargo but I'm not wasting anymore time fiddling with all the bugs
Great cargo solution with the hull C. Is it possible to fly twice to a station and to compleet a cargo mission? If you accept a mission fil your ship to max and store the rest in the inventory on that station, Then you fly with your first load to delivery station and unlaod then fly back to the pickup station load the rest of the cargo and fly to the delivery station wil the mission still counted as compleet?
Hi Mitch, technically I think you could run multiple trips. However, I think there is a timer on these missions and you would probably exceed that limit. That being said, there isn't much point beyond gameplay to make several runs on the same batch of cargo. In the time that it takes you to make 4 trips ( twice there, twice back) to complete the mission you could have done 2 or 3 smaller cargo missions and made the same or more aUEC. Just my 2cents :)
after impound call in a catterpillar or a C2. get in the large hanger, drop down the Large ship, get the atlas, move it to the side, then call the Hull C?

I think so but I have not tried it. But if you do break the bottom spindles off, you will have 1/4 less cargo capacity for the ship

Got Hull A figured out. You need to store and retrieve it each time you want to extend or retract the cargo.

Pro tip: If you go to store the Hull C & jump on the pad with it as it goes down, it'll pop out of the pad & rise back up.
Perhaps you can just call the hangar, stop at the opened doors and pull cargo in with an ATLS
I was able to close my spindles in the hanger while they were in the floor, had to be boasting up at the same time but it worked.

The Hull series is getting worked into the new cargo system, so they're not trying to fix the bugs with the placeholder
You should try park the hull c near hangar and unload it in another ship and do the tracktor8ng routine in hangar
You should try to close spindels with cargo. With hull a its helps
