This is one of my personal favourites & it’s so simple. I hope you guys try & cook this amazing curry. I promise it’s outstanding! Btw I am so grateful for all the love & support. Stay blessed & thank you ✊🧑🍳👩🍳🥘🍛🍽❤️
What could I use instead of chillies? They are just something that I can't eat at all so daren't even risk adding some. Or would it be OK without any, just not hot?
There's something about a mother's home cooking, no restaurant can beat it, wether it's Bengali, Jamaican or British. It's the combination of love and 40 years of experience 😋
Proper Bengali home style food, I love it when my mum cooks mutton chops with baby potatoes for the family and its even more better with a fragrant fluffy basmati rice and Bengali salad 😋🇧🇩
I live in Bradford and I go to the Asian supermarkets and butchers to get my Mutton. They chop it big and it's cheap. I save your videos and love to cook along. Thanks Latif for another recipe.
I am big fan of Indian food. I usually go to Indian restaurants in London and enjoy the Great Indian Taste. Lots of Love for India from London. Stephanie
Majority of these restaurant in London are Bengali owners with Bengali chefs just to let you know, it could be the restaurant you went to are Indian owners.
@@bittertruth2243 there’s huge Bengali population up north. Bengali owned restaurants are dominating the industry up north. Im from London but I visit north a lot
I saw that pot at my local asian/Indian store but if I buy ONE MORE pan, my husband will faint lolol I have a walk-in pantry & it's packed with kitchen pots, equipment and baking pans lol thank god I cook daily ♥️ that's why I love this channel ♥️
Here l thought my friend and l are the only ones who go overboard with the kitchen ware. Let's not mention the appliances... Slow cooker, pressure cooker, Blender, Food Processor, Electric frying pan l mean 🙈🙈🙄
@@AgapeCreations83 and not just ONE food processor. You need different sizes lol and let's not forget parchment paper in a roll or precut flats. Cheese cloth from different brands bc some are best for cheese. Every baking pan wether a necessity or not. Ok. I agree now with my husband. I AM insane. Hahahahahahaha o did I mention several sterling silver sets of silverware? Because dinner parties should be fancy! Which leads right over to the fancy dish section lol omg make it stop lol. No, I'm fine. Carry on 🤣😉🤣😉🤣
This is a Death Row Meal. You want the best food ever. Plus your Mum has cooked it. May I ask a question? Is your Mums always better? Even though you may use identical ingredients etc....You get what I am saying? I also believe that having Gas on the stove top as opposed to electric hobs makes a HUGE difference! GAS is the only way to cook. It is so much better. Hands Down!
2 years ago we remodelled our kitchen. And i made the massive mistake of fitting an induction hob. I am a very keen home cook and should have some more research. The hob is worse than useless. It seems the 2 big selling points are 1, how quick it can boil a pot of water and 2, how easy it is to clean. That's it! I do a lot of wok cooking and it's IMPOSSIBLE on an induction. Completely, totally, impossible. And steak forget it, and i don't care what pans people use. You are 100% correct. GAS is the only way to cook. I would urge any keen home cook if you enjoy cooking, and you want total control over your heat, STICK with gas. I have actually purchased a professional cast iron ring burner and a large propane gas bottle and use that to cook, albeit outside under my lean to as you cannot use this appliances in doors. A small price to pay i think.
We cooked this the other day but we added tomatoes to the recipe. My mrs said its probably one of the best curries we ever cooked. Another delicious dish that we can host thanks Latif
Thanks bro, we are newly married Bengali couple 😂 suddenly my in laws coming to our house and we need to cook something and that’s what I cooked today it’s turn amazing.. hope they like it 😢

First time commenting … but wanted to let you know you have inspired me to cook food my parents taught me slightly different. When I make my way across the pond… definitely want to come check out your restaurant. God bless and continue cooking my friend.
Your mum recipe is just like mines, don't like garam masala.. Can't believe I'm finding food videos similar to my home food!! Love it and your end result look so delicious

I would cook this in the oven. It gives it a taste you can't replicate on the hob. Potatoes have a better mouth-feel, too. I can't explain why this should be, it just is!!!
Made this last night … wonderful wonderful dish , thanks for sharing Latif 👍, I’m like you and I did add 2 tomatoes cut into quarters along with the potatoes so they cook to really soft , i then dish out the meat and potatoes leaving the sauce in the pan so I can skim most of the oil off before pouring remaining sauce over the meat and potatoes … exquisite 😜
A lovely mutton dish with mild spices that complements and brings out the flavour and exquisite taste of the meat. Mouth wateringly delicious 🙌Tq Chef🥂
The smile on your face when you said it was better than your Mum's, beautiful. I'm at the market on Monday for mutton chops and I'm cooking this. Thank you.
