Thank you so much! I’m going to Malta for the first time in January and I am excited the hotel I was thinking to book is on this list! I feel you are fair and balanced with your opinions and you are also the reason I chose Malta (over Cyprus) truly thankfu!
Nice info as usual, Alex! I'm amazed how fluidly you provide information without resorting to a script it seems -- what a natural public speaker you are! One of my friends loved staying at the Floriana hotel, the Phoenicia, and she and her sister loved it! Me, I enjoyed having tea there a few times during their weekday afternoon tea service. And personally, I like the St. Julien's and Sliema areas for their liveliness, too, although I also liked Floriana for its authentic Malta vibe.
I stayed at the Waterfront hotel once during winter season. I absolutely liked it. Great view to the harbour with a small balcony. I would stay there again!
This is extremely helpful information! I stayed at Hotel Juliani this January and everthing about it was outstanding! I highly recommend, Actually I'm staying there again in 3 weeks. 😊
i just stayed in Mellieha in November. Just because it is not that crowdy as Valletta or Sliema. Only problem of that side of Malta, the bus connections are not all ideal. But hotel with rooftop pool, spa, bar, restaurant. So everything you need during a holiday ;)
They were very happy to help when I emailed them to say it was a honeymoon and the staff there made very sweet for them leaving cakes and made towels into swans it was so cute x
Hi Alex Thanks for your hotel guide. I’ve been privileged to stay in a few good hotels over the past few years as we are regular visitors to Malta. Here’s my list. 4. The Hilton 3. Grand Excelsior ( Great pool and view) 2. Phoenicia (Best garden and pool ) 1. Malta Marriott & Spa ( best value and best size rooms with great views of Balutta bay) Hopefully you could get into a few and do a guide!
I stayed in Marriott last week, i loved it. I dont like Excelsior tho, i loved the pool in Phoenicia. In Hilton i have been only in their lobby and restaurants
Alex you are doing great jobs for the visitors of Malta in all seasons but this service for winter will help 100's of 1000 around the world, I pray May Father God bless you more 🙏
Hi Alex agree with you re Buggiba but Mellieha is special and nothing like Buggiba which is fine for some people they are very different love your videos good job
Hi Alex 🤗 would your choice of Sliema hotels change if you did not need a swimming pool? We are coming for Christmas and looking for a base for touring historic sites and car parking more of a priority for us 🚗🤗 thanks for your highly informative Chanel, it has been essential in our planning 👌🏴
Hey Alex, just an idea, yeah you should make the hotel pay if not once you see how many people view your video, you should tell the hotel and tell them your video has had x views numbers and you made a add for them Either you got pay or have a week end for free or a nice table for dinner for 2 pay by the hotel. Either way the hotel win cause you will talked about them even more...🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊🎉🎉❤🎉🎉
What are your thoughts on Corinthia St George’s bay. And also do you think it’s easy to get a bolt from airport to hotel or best to book a pickup from airport. Travelling with a two year old. Any recommendations on airport pickups?
Alex this has been very helpful. I plan on visiting in March. Any thoughts on a good hotel in the south? This video has really helped me figure out where to stay!! Thank you
A VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CONCISE PRESENTATION 📺 🏆 👏. Going by the Hotel Choice Criteria, from where I'm standing, I must say you're spot on with your list of the "10 Malta Hotels 🏩". However Alex, I'm surprised that "Hotel Odysy" (4 🌟) @ Qawra didn't even get a mention? 🤔. THANKS ALEX 🎤 🎥 👏 Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™
Alex we stayed at St Patrick’s Hiotel in Xlendi Bay last year it was nice but there’s now a lot of building work there which I think is spoiling a peaceful area. 😢
The Bayview used to have Italian school children and students from Italy. It was very noisy, and it completely ruined the peace of the hotel, it might be worth asking before booking.
@@AlexinMalta thanks for your reply Alex. Yes, I'll be on a student visa. Alex, do you know what the accommodation prices are like in smart city Ricasoli, Kalkara? My college is there actually that's why.
Thanks Alex, from Bournemouth UK, I hope at least one of those hotels will treat you with a meal, drink and perhaps a massage too, Hmmm 🤔 😋, bye 4 now ;

Thank you for your Hotell guide.👍
Beautiful information
I'm curious to know why you don't like Mellieha. I don't like Bugibba either but I think Mellieha is beautiful....
Hi Mary, i dont like Bugibba, but i like Mellieha, especially Santa Maria estate. But im not keen on the north part of Malta in general
best quiet hotel in Valletta with a good sized pool, that isnt the Excelsior ?

Hi Alex. I'm planning to visit in January from South Africa. I want to visit first before I move😊
Its the best idea, stay here for 10 days to understand the lifestyle
Alex we stayed at St Patrick’s Hiotel in Xlendi Bay last year it was nice but there’s now a lot of building work there which I think is spoiling a peaceful area. 😢
I loved St Patrick, the first time i went to Gozo i stayed there, 2015, last time i went to Gozo i couldnt recognize Xlendi, they ruined it
@@AlexinMalta That’s what we thought, too many sky high apartments, next time we’ll probably seat In Sliema
iPad puts what IT wants I’d put stay in Sliema, ☕️
4:39 oh and speaking of that what ‘s going on with maintenance of Waterfront Alex?
They are changing the main door
