Very helpful summary Alex, well done, this is going to help a lot of people with no knowledge of Malta and no homework done before visiting. Straight to the point and informative! 👏👏
Alex u should do video or video series of people working in malta where u talk with a person who is working for example in igaming or as a waiter and they tell more specificly what the job includes and how is the pay and on and on. I think many people who are thinking about moving to malta would benefit from that kind of videos!
I am traveling to Malta from May 28 to June 5th. I’ve been watching a bunch of videos about traveling to Malta and this is by far the best video and most informative. After watching this video I feel more at ease traveling to Malta. Thank you!
I've been following your work since I decided in January to visit Malta at the end of April. I watched all your videos while I was waiting and now, I am only 4 days away from my trip. Thanks again for the useful information, glad to see that Sliema was a good choice as a starting point. Thanks for the videos!
@@AlexinMalta Yeah, so excited :) Sliema Hotel by ST Hotels will be my hotel, but I will travel a lot during the days. (Valetta, Gozo, Mdina, Slima). If I see You l I'll wave :)
Another great video about Malta, Alex! I visited Malta for 8 days and thanks to your videos I had a wonderful holiday. I knew everything I needed and felt very comfortable. Thanks for the helpful videos, Alex! Keep doing them because I think I will come back to this beautiful place again. От жената с бялата шапка и белия пуловер ;)
What a nice, and informative video this was! It's really visible how much effort and work u put into this, it's almost like a travel episode on a TV channel! All the tips were really useful indeed, as someone who lived on the island, I have a reference on this topic! Just a little thing, I don't know if you know about the app called "cool" which is like a ride share application, like bolt, but because you can share rides with other people, it's an even cheaper way to use a kind of taxi service! Thanks for this video, Alex!
Thanks Kris, i am so glad you noticed the hard work i did! this took 3 days of preparing, filming, editing for a video of 9 minutes! btw COOL closed down the business, thats why i didnt insert it in the video, also GoTo which used to be my sponsor, they closed down as well
Great video Alex. I thought perhaps Carnival and other events for instance the feast of St. Paul in January could be added for winter. I came across a video of Notte Bianca. It looked like a lot of fun. Someone else told me that in Birgu in September the y have entertainment going on by candel light. That would be a lot of fun too. I’m sure you had a great birthday. Many happy returns.
Excellent video and all very useful tips. I watched a lot of your videos before going to Malta and now that I'm back, still watching them! I just spent 15 days in Malta and Gozo, and what a beautiful country with wonderful people, it surpassed my expectations! About transportation, yes on the Tallinja app, it was very useful. About tips, as a Canadian I am used to tip everywhere and I did so in Malta, and I can tell you it was heartwarming to see how appreciative the Maltese were for the extra tip. It got me extra Limoncello too! :) About accommodation, totally agree with you. I stayed in Valletta and if you like history and architecture, that is the place to be, with plenty of food options around. Oh and I had Tiffany's Gelato every night! haha! Your videos are very useful and accurate. Love it!
What a beautiful comment Yanik❤️ thank you so much, im so happy to read your comment and understand that you had an amazing stay in Malta and hope to see you back again

Hello Alex, My husband and I both truly enjoy your content and it has helped us immensely with planning our upcoming trip to Malta. One question I would like to ask you is which neighbourhood or area of Valletra or one of its neighbouring cities would you recommend to do photo shoot. We've hired a photographer, but we are still looking for a beautiful, picturesque area to create the perfect background. We're open to suggestions from you or your many viewers. Once again, thank you for all the amazing content, and hopefully we'll bump into each other during our travels.
Enjoy your videos and the vibe :) I don't know if you already have such content, but please share something about the best choice hotels you would recommend to stay in Malta for vacations. Thank you!
Hi Alex, this was a beautiful video and nice background music 🎶 I hope you are doing well, I heard there was a 5.3 earthquake in Malta just after midnight 😮 I will be in Malta this summer/fall and I might try the P&O cruise 🛳
I had planned a trip to Malta in March but it was not to be. I went to Germany which I’ve been to before and do love. I wish I had stuck to my original plans and gone to Malta. Hopefully next year!!
Yes visit the Craft Market at Ta Qali, While there you can visit the adjacent Aviation Museum and the National football stadium. Local busses go to the football stadium. Local busses are better than you expect and a day ticket, go anywhere, for just 2.50 Euros.
Hi Alex, we are planning a trip to Malta and have been watching alot of your videos. We are a family of six and planning to rent a vehicle which is an 8-passenger van. Do you recommend this or should we stick to public transportation? We like to visit the not so touristy beaches and locations which is why we are renting a vehicle. Thanks for the awesome videos and I hope to hear from you. Maybe we will run into in Malta!
great videos Alex. very enjoyable and informative. Could you do one about the dating culture in Malta eg. dating maltese people/foreigners vice versa etc..
hello Alex your channel is very important for anyone planning to go to malta, I have a doubt, we will stay 6 days, and Im planning to stay 2 nights in Valetta 1 night in Gozo and 3 nights in ST Julians is it a good plan to get to know the island? we are a quiet couple, we chose st Julians because we found a Hilton hotel where we are used to staying around the world, we are also going to rent a car for a few days, we thought about renting online because our trip will now be in July and I am afraid to leave it for rent when we arrive and not having a car available. any other tip you can give me will be welcome, this friendliness in the videos is still super fun to watch.

@@AlexinMalta Hello Alex! Been arrived in Malta last May 3 and it's my very first time here. Malta is amazing. But when it comes to renting flats and apartments, very much expensive. I'm in St. Paul's Bay with my brother. Love the view here. Hoping to see you out there in the walled streets. Sending love ❤❤❤

Be aware that buses can be unreliable, being infrequent and prone to cancellation or being full up. Also, they mostly stop running by around 10pm, so plan your evenings accordingly. The narrow roads and the heavy traffic also mean that Malta is dangerous for cycling: so much so that you seldom see anyone on a bike. Apart from that, Malta is a beautiful place.
Alex, thank you very much for this video. I’m planning to visit Malta at the end of June for my birthday. Is there any GREAT restaurant or place you can recommend us (we will be 3 people) to celebrate my birthday please ? I will be 35 years old at this end of June and I really would like a great celebration 😍
Im going to your lovely country in 2 days and I was wondering how easy it is to get from the airport to Sliema? Ive read mixed things about the reliability of the busses and that a taxi is way easier!
Very good video, thank you so much, helps us a lot for planning our Malta trip. Fun fact btw: You look 1:1 like me, i think you‘re my twin brother i‘ve never heard of 😂
After travelling to Malta, another tip I would add to the driving is: Maltese are not safe drivers, people rarely use indicators/blinkers, people NEVER stop at stop signs, give way rules at roundabouts just do not apply and nobody does the speed limit except through the speed cameras. Polizija/Police do not care either and won't pull you over unless you do something really dangerous (like overtaking a car that's already overtaking a car which DOES happen).
Are there Canadian and American retired people who are expats in the Sliema area? Is it crowded, and can you get around Valletta and other places without a car, or with a driver?
