Nice work James, looks great and awesome colour you've chosen for it. Video is nice too, showing the instruction manual and then the part being attached. Well done
Thank you so much Karl, I tried some new video things in this one. I’ll start doing the little clip at the end for every video from now on. Not sure about the ASMR, I think I like music better.
What a Nice clean build vary cool think the color made it look really good too kind of set off the car just right thanks for the video and looking forward to the next build
Thanks Deen for watching and commenting, I’m pretty happy with the build, it meets my personal expectations for clean. I’m torn as to what to tackle next. I’ll announce it next week.
Great video James... Short, but great! That's what is good about this channel. A variety of videos, that you have to watch & see what happens. Awesome! 👍
Very nice build James! I built the Revell version last year. Even though it was a very basic kit, with a few mods and lots of masking on the chassis it can look good.
James, you just keep getting better and better, sir! I kid you not; that paint scheme is "odd", you state, but I say it is a refreshing change from the usual reds and blacks. I can't wait to see what your design mind comes up wirh next. Stay well and I hope you've gotten all settled in with your new home. Cork
Thanks Cork! The Porsche was another attempt at a perfect box stock model. I was solely focused on the finish of each part. I’m pretty happy with it. Even if it isn’t eye catching. I appreciate your support bud 😀
@@ScaleModelExperiment Why do you think it isn't eye-catching? The color scheme alone makes you look twice. I mean, that's just my take, but the workmanship on your models make them stand out. Good health to you and your family, James! From the hills of old Virginia, Cork
Thanks Cork, In my competitive contest days I proved that a RED model will always get the attention of a show judge. Brown cars just don’t have that look at me vibe. Oh well, on to the next one. Thanks for your support bud!
Thanks so much Brandon! It’s funny, those guys are all about drag racing and 57 Chevy kits. They’ll glance at my Porsche and move on 😂. I really appreciate your support bud!
Hi BigX, yes I have been using 2K for over 15 years now. I would like to step away from using it though and go to a lacquer clear that it predicable. I won’t use a rattle can. What do you suggest? Thanks, James
@@ScaleModelExperiment heck if I know..I know 2k is be all end all of gloss...but sometimes matt clear like a real car is good..I've used testers, tamiya, clears and they came out great...as for a laq one..I don't use a lot of laq stuff unless when I use a can which is not a lot anymore. I mean I gues tamyia makes a lap clear I'd have to check..
@@Big_pancake73 createx is water based. I don’t know if it would be as predictable as solvent based. Nothing more irritating than having to strip and start over. Especially with deadlines of publishing videos.

Wow that went together nicely. Of course being Tamiya and all. Great filming and editing. This was awesome to watch.
Thank you Spencer! You know me, always experimenting… this time I tried ASMR and the personal bit at the end. I appreciate your undying support bud!

Thank you so much Robert! I agree with you, the extra care of masking can make a simple model into something nice. Thanks for watching and commenting.
