Brilliant video...nothing like a fire service convoy.
0:54 what an assist
Great video mate
Awesome catches!
uuuuuuuuuuu🏛
Keep up the good content 👍
Do LFB always send an FRU on the PDA for a high-rise AFA then? Because I can’t think of any other U.K. brigade to do so.
Nice catches by the way. 👍
Yes they do.
You know all the lingo...FRU. PDA. AFA. As a person who has followed the emergency services his whole life, I am intrigued to get a translation...lol
@@geraldoloughlin8307 FRU is a Fire Rescue Unit. (The trucks that look like pumps but are slightly bigger). A PDA is a pre determined attendance (A standard set of fire engines initially sent to a specific type of call, eg any high rise AFA will get 1 FRU, 5 pumps and a turntable ladder no matter what) And AFA stands for Automatic Fire alarm (actuating)
@@LondonEmergency999 my local brigade (Staffordshire) have different PDAs depending on what floor the incident is reported as being on:
3x pumps, no aerial, floors G to 4
3x pumps, 1x aerial, floors 5 to 9
4x pumps, 1x aerial, floors 10 to 14
5x pumps, 1x aerial, floor 15 and above.
And no rescue unit.
The FRU is part of the high rise AFA PDA for the extended duration BA capability
First 👍👍👍👍
