Horror films are not the same thing that's just something that they can see but they're not a part of the movie.
@@TheFootballPoet Yet there are children on farms who are taught to kill animals from a young age. My niece first saw slaughter on the farm when she was 2 years old. There is literally a program that gets kids to form an emotional connection to an animal before sending them off to get killed. Those are the issues not children perhaps seeing a glimpse of a pig thrashing on a tv screen. Especially when if people stopped buying those things it wouldn't be happening in the first place.

Therefore, our consumption of animals, from a supply and demand perspective, generates the existence of more animals. The animals we are eating are not just found in the wild and killed; we create systems that artificially increase populations.
I acknowledge that we would certainly encounter issues if the world went vegan overnight, but the fact is that the entire world will, most likely, never go vegan overnight. If the world ever fully embraces veganism,it would be a gradual process where demand for products requiring the breeding of animals would wither, and so too would the reproductive interference involved in such a practice. We can conclude from this that by the time we achieve a vegan world, we would not have nearly the same amount of animals on the planet as we do currently. Furthermore, we would be in an ethically vegan world, meaning there would be a massive number of animal sanctuaries compared to currently existing ones. If this were the case, we would have a heightened capacity to take care of the extra animals who wouldn’t face a death sentence.

We held an animal rights march, organised by FarmTransparency (Chis Delforce), in Melbourne. There were about 600 people (at least), in the middle of Melbourne, and there was zero coverage of it in the media. I couldn't believe it.

Why should children not see where what they put in their body has come from? surely big red flag to know that something is very wrong as a child you go strawberry picking, which has grown on the ground no gassing no cutting of throats and blood and terror. I think it would be pretty exciting to walk into a grocery store where a protest like this is going on. Even if I wasn't vegan, it would make me curious enough to try having an actual conversation with you guys. If you caught me when my shopping cart was still empty, I could've loaded it with all kinds of good vegan foods just to give it a shot.
Canned veggies, beans, oat milk & cereal, and a bag of breaded plant patties can really go a long way. And the canned stuff is cheap too!

Trying to make people feel guilty and shame them on camera is not the right thing to do. Do some positive videos of not eating meat, showing the benefits it can have to maybe help change peoples minds. Anyone who has a camera in their face and invading their personal space is going to react in a defensive manner.

I am 100% sure that someone with medical problems who has been to doctors and specialists know way more than a vegan who only knows how to yap. you're the one who's not listening to him and letting him speak when he's trying to talk to you.
doctors and specialists don't have nutritional training, and certainly their knowledge of food is not updated to know that you don't need to eat meat for protein
doctors and specialists just prescribe you pharmaceuticals, and they aren't even educated about those meds properly since it is the patient's job to check contraindications with their other diseases and meds

Everyone can say something at the level at which they can say it. And context is essential. If both parties had agreed to discuss that topic, it would be a completely different matter. Another is when you approach people caught in the inertia of everyday problems and try to impose a new topic on them. Many people would not want to take part in that conversation even if they heard that people were gassed in those rooms. How could an extra problem help me? It's the last thing I need.
You realize how you feel when you are also assaulted with accusations by some people who seem to have the sole purpose of complicating your life, which is already quite complicated.

Every advert I watch I can’t see through and it’s infuriating. This meat industry is a powerhouse, but I know that we will get there for five years but I have been vegan. There has been so much progress so many more options for plant based, which is such a positive thing, and we are making big waves, shutting down, shorter houses all credit to Joey and Everybody involved
It never ceases to amaze me how people will buy the product but they don't want to know how it's made. Turning a blind eye to it doesn't change the fact that animals are suffering on people's behalf. I would want to know how my food is made so I can make better decisions for me and my family. Going plant-based eating only is a win-win for the animals the planet and our health.

Vegan for 7 years, had many successful debates with alot of people. I think you need to understand human behaviour before trying to change it.

A few years back I placed silicone dog toys of pink pigs from the pet section on top of the refrigerated pig flesh products in my local Tesco. I hoped it would raise questions as to why. If one person questioned or a child asked a parent why there was a 'pig' in the refrigerator forcing an explanation I felt I'd have achieved something. Many who ignore or resist today will be thinking, remembering and feeling when they get back home that's when results really begin. Just stay strong. Well done guys, keep up the good work.
