    It annoys me so much when ppl go “I’ve got no issue with vegans” as if they’re making some grandiose statement or something. I know what you mean. I work with all meat eaters so when it comes to any luncheons I have to buy my own lunch because the places they get to cater don't cater plant-based food. Then my coworkers all look at me as if I'm the plague or something. It just makes me realize how right I am about what I'm doing and how oblivious they are to what's really going on in this world. I actually feel sad for them because they are not awake yet or they just may not care I don't know.

      It’s because vegans make up such a small percentage of the population and when confronted with the concept many people subconsciously understand vegans are likely ahead of the curve but can’t find a way to justify themselves not being vegan. Essentially, politely finding a way to say: “I respect what you’re doing but most likely won’t do it myself.”

    If everyone magically became vegan overnight, the farmers would have vegan morals and thus turn their farms into sanctuaries and stop graping the animals into existence.

    • @TheShockedboy
      @TheShockedboy 7 місяців тому +1

      Sadly no, the only way that would ever happen is if animal products become illegal. That would make the animals a drain on the farmers, so they would all be authorized and buried in mass graves.

      Humans are omnivores so they need both animals and plant products to survive. The alternative is synthetic and chemical supplements which are not reliable sources. So many books about it - Inside Animals Hearts and Minds (True Stories of Animal Intelligence and Emotion) and What a Fish Knows by Jonathan Balcombe, The Emotional Lives of Animals by Marc Bekoff, The Pig Who Sang to the Moon by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson. Then just look at the suffering in the animals' eyes on factory farms, slaughterhouse trucks and slaughterhouses, and compare with animal sanctuaries where they are happy, playing and bonding with others!

    These people show how desperate Flesh and Secretion eaters are to protect their addiction to eating innocent animals. I can give people without the knowledge a little forgiveness, but once you know you are guilty! I had to make this decision over 15 years ago, when I first was made aware of what I was contributing to when I watched "Earthlings" it was horrific and I remember asking myself, "so what are you going to do? you are either an ethical vegan now or you are a hypocrite" and I was a person who did not like veggies, and lived pretty much on a carnivore diet, I chose the animals and the first 4 months were hell because I had no idea what to eat and did not like the taste of most things, but once my tastebuds adjusted, I remember eating a stir-fry that I hated two months before and I loved it, so my tastebuds adjusted and it has been easy since then, the one last thing I would say is I loved eating steaks and burgers, so when I would smell someone grilling meat, it made me for a second what to eat it, BUT then I trained my mind to instantly think, "remember to think of the victim, is 5 minutes of taste pleasure worth the life of that animal?", within in a year or two that desire evaporated! Veganism is the least we can do! I look forward to watching Christspiracy should be interesting since many of animal eaters I have met use religion as their justification.

    Even in the worst case scenario and they slaughtered them all, it's only what would have happened to them anyway, & then no more after them would be bred into slavery & slaughtered. So even this is better than continuing animal agriculture.

      @@JaneLuus-br2cl It is so easy and cheap to cook for yourself. Dorm rooms have kitchens. When I was in college, I cooked my own food. I made big pots of food so cheaply. We need to instill into our children the importance of cooking for ourselves. It is extremely cost saving and healthy. Cooking is a no brainer. When people say they cannot even boil water, it's not inability, it's not wanting to.

    We don`t need honey for health or to survive so why eat it? Leave the bees alone to do what they do best.

    My son is in his first year at university. Before starting his studies, he inquired about catering and was promised a vegetarian menu. Much to our shock, he was given "vegetarian food" which clearly had meat in it! My son has not eaten meat for 12 years and this is very important to us. The head of the university lied to our faces and denied everything...but my son still has the meat at home!! We can prove everything ua-cam.com/channels/YI1G9d_Er9rnCkxsywYHbQ.html
