Love all the technical detail. You should be super proud of your breadth of knowledge. From welding and bending to sensors and signals. In addition you have all that race application knowledge like the electronic break booster and boost preservation. Keep it up!
“Being able to tune it for whatever I need is a safety feature because I’ve spent loads of money on parts.”
The sincerity with which this justification is delivered!
::Golf Clap::
Mike is legit, God-tier petrol head
This humble guy is my automotive builder idol! Keep it up
Best build series Ive seen period
Love this series, I appreciate the amount of effort that has gone into this but I want MOAR videos! 🤣
Thank you Mike and the ECS team.👍
I have been waiting for this
Definitely one of my favorite builds going right now on here. Nice job on the harness. I've wired a few M.S. and other standalone setups and it's definitely not everyone's favorite part of the build but I agree that it's super satisfying to slim down/ simplify the harness, get everything routed/ spliced/ terminated nicely and so it makes sense and is serviceable if need be. Makes troubleshooting, repairs, and future mods/ add-ons super simple. It's so nice to see the loom all completed with Tesa tape, sheathing and the nice Deutsch/ mil-spec/ bulkhead connectors. I like using my own fuse/ relay setups along with buss bars. Its honestly sexy IMO when it's executed properly. The flocked dash and layout with the guages and your display looks awesome and nearly OEM. That 'on-the-fly' potentiometer to adjust the boost is a hell of a great idea. Great work dude!👍😁
This is so great! Can't wait to see this thing rippin' around!
I have decided I need to throttle my viewing of Mike's builds as I juar spent 7 hours in the garage scanning stuff to 3D print parts for my car, amd am digging through wrecking yards for Traverse vacuum pumps.
cant beat the humbleness 😉
This thing is awsome cant wait to hear it singing a beautiful noise
The amount of knowledge and skill that goes into this car is inspiring. Keep it up.
This is one of the coolest and most detailed builds I have ever seen! Looking forward to more on the MS tuning aspect!
Damn! This is going to be a really nice race car!
Awesome build and mindblowing knowledge! Keep it up 👌
nice work. mike rules.
such a bad assed build, love it
Oohh that sounds NICE 👍
very awesome mike! the progress is cool to see and hear! very stoked for this build its one of the coolest ones ive seen!
Such a awesome build 😍
Excellent project, excellent videos! I've enjoyed them all!
You make me wish I'd tried harder at school 😂👌
Hey at least you didn't cross two of your ignition channels like I did when I wired up my standalone :). What was even worse was I was running batch fire on a 6 cylinder engine so I had the engine running on 2 cylinders.
Great content
Was great watching the car on our track Sunday. I would love a ride along if you ever make it back out and don't mind.
Awesome stuff, thanks!
Inspiration to complete a build like this one day
Is there another way to modify that throttle with maybe a mini check valve that you can turn open and closed instead of drilling different sized holes till right size is achieved and that way you can also turn the valve completely closed if ever needed aposed to a open hole? Small check valve don't seem that it will be hindering throttle movements.
Yup, there’s a bunch of different ways to do it. I was just trying to keep it simple, so a few minutes with some drill bits works this thing
@@mikeday3644 Could you send me the file for the raspberry pi enclosure you mounted over the center speaker spot. I would love to get a data screen in there.
Where Do you talk about the Front suspension? Did You make the A-arms?
What would you recommend for someone who’s new to wiring harnesses? I ultimately would love to be able to do a setup like this.
Where did you find the potentiometer switch for boost level and rpm launch control?
Could you give us more info on the shifter setup? Or if I missed it, which video talks about it.. Thanks
What would your job description say? I’m trying to know how I could possibly get to the point your at, it seems like you really know how to do it all!
Does Exhaust flap reduce lag?
What kind of shifter did you use ?
Is there any promo codes ? curious if they have them often
Hey! I have been considering a similar project! Is it at all possible to drop to .stl files for those of us for printers?
Can you do this on a 2.5l 2012 Jetta engine
You could, but in terms of both intake and exhaust manifold it would have to be different than what Mike used
@@ecstuning do you all make one for the 2.5 Jetta 2012
Do you have the file for the screen mount available?
what intake manifold is that
Should do a fresh air anti lag valve
Fresh air valves are no longer allowed for rally 😔
I really want to pull the magic anti smoke lever now that I know it's there ....
Awesome build. Wish I could swap a 07K built by IROZ into a 190E Cosworth
Wow……clever guy
