I’m Building a Turbo 5 Cylinder Audi Drift Car! Preparing The VW 2.5L 07k Engine to Swap In.

Today, we prep our Volkswagen 2.5L 07k Engine to swap into a b5 Audi a4/s4. Yes, I don’t have the chassis yet but the build is verbally and mentally solidified.
How long will it take? No clue. But it will get done, eventually. As much as I would love for it to be a very short process, it won’t be. Sometimes there might be a boring video and I’m sorry. That’s just the nature of trying hard and being poor.

Do what you want and I’ll of course watch and like, but you might have better luck in a e39 bmw 5 series chassis. Tons of room in those and they are designed for longitudinal engines as well. Oh, and they’re cheap because the v8s timing chain guides love to fail gloriously

I own also a golf mk2 20vt and a b5 20vt. You can find s4 for 4k so you are right about the prices. I know that you want something different for engine but you could make a 20vt b5 drift car with less money and troubles.

Yes I’ve thought about it, but like you said it’s about doing something different. I really enjoy making videos and want to keep doing it, so need to be different to stand out at this point. But I think the 20vt would make a great drifting engine, similar to sr20

It appears my comment disappeared. Anyways long story short, dont buy s4 buy a4 its same chasis, s4 has s specific body kit that is not more produced so it makes it more expensive, s suspension and brakes. You can buy a4 b5, and because you are doing custom build i guess you would probably change suspension for coilovers, brakes, and if you dont care about body kit buy non s b5 quattro and go from there, should be waaay cheaper. Here only body kit goes for 3 k and up so you have great prices in usa. If it would here even tho im unemployed i would get one cause those are future classics. You can buy one, sell parts that you will not be using, engine, suspension, brakes and get some money back.
