Joes solo is cool but he’s going for that late trane stuff but I like the earlier trane on this tune straight bebop on this. He’s doing too much out stuff for me not enough strictly swinging stuff. He’s still great.

this is based on the underlying assumption that late-period trane isn't swinging, which...boy, i hate to break it to you, but it definitely is, the majority of the time at least
