“By 2040, the Philippines shall be a prosperous, predominantly middle-class society where no one is poor. Our peoples will enjoy long and healthy lives, are smart and innovative, and will live in a high-trust society”
AmBisyon Natin 2040 represents the collective long-term vision and aspirations of the Filipino people for themselves and for the country in the next 25 years. It describes the kind of life that people want to live, and how the country will be by 2040. As such, it is an anchor for development planning across at least four administrations.
AmBisyon Natin 2040 is a picture of the future, a set of life goals and goals for the country. It is different from a plan, which defines the strategies to achieve the goals. It is like a destination that answers the question “Where do we want to be?”. A plan describes the way to get to the destination; AmBisyon Natin 2040 2040 is the vision that guides the future and is the anchor of the country’s plans.
AmBisyon Natin 2040 is the result of a long-term visioning process that began in 2015. More than 300 citizens participated in focus group discussions and close to 10,000 answered the national survey. Technical studies were prepared to identify strategic options for realizing the vision articulated by citizens. The exercise benefitted from the guidance of an Advisory Committee composed of government, private sector, academe, and civil society.
Sounds great. There should be curriculums in schools that would provide engineering and manufacturing skills - eg making cars, phones and computers, electrical, food and clothing. No need to export food and clothing from other countries. Philippines should manufacture most of the basic needs. More sustainable innovations in every sector. Use the natural resources of the Philippines to attain that goal. Above all, the Philippines shall humble before God and each person should come to the personal knowledge and relationship with Christ. That's the greatest success of all.
Not only that, they should make sure that schools are flexible too...you know how many people with potential our country lost just because of our outdated academic standards?
Don't export raw materials it must be processed in PHILIPPINES so it could be cheaper and give opportunities to some Filipinos job seekers. KEEP IT UP PH❤

Ambisyon 2040 is lit!
This looks great! But I don't know how long it will take to put all them in place? If I'm not mistaken everything mentioned above is all behind (except for connectivity as there are lots of ongoing projects?) Since current policies are strong and focus on exporting human resources, I think the Government should also focus and invite our own people to support the Philippine innovative sector, and maybe upgrade our poor education system. Schools cultivate the next generation of Filipinos and should foster students with creative thinking. We don't need imports if we could just build technologies and innovations on our own. In my opinion too, most politicians aren’t doing exceptionally well. We need more great leaders to realize this vision in the future.
