Reminds me of the Conan podcast recently with David Sedaris. He Said "The funniest person most people know is a 10(This is actually incredibly generous of him cause it's probably a 7 or 8), but I grew up with my sister Amy in my house everyday." He didn't give her a number but in my mind she's at least a 15, like up at the top with the funniest people that have ever lived.
Nate is a masterclass on dead pan comedy. The man is effortlessly hilarious.
I was trying to describe this type of humor and couldn't think of the so thank you for helping me remember "deadpan"

Hilarious.......the most challenging part of marriage is when kids are gone and the 2 oldsters are retired. Especially when the man is somehow focused on taking over as the housewife. Not what I hoped this stage of life would be.

Hands down my favorite comedian. He never does cheap dirty humor for a laugh. Clean comedians are definitely wittier.
He's awesome! We just seen him live in Atlanta. He brought his dad on tour with him. His dad is a magician, and he's just as funny as Nate!! 😂 best comedian hands down!

I don’t mind the occasional odd color joke if it’s clever. The problem is, it’s generally used as a cheap way to get a laugh.
There's just something about this guy's voice, cadence, and phrasing that makes me watch everything he's put out on repeat.
He's your ONE friend that's both nerdy and cool.

I'm 78 yrs old and i've seen many many comedians, I Love Stand-up . Nate is my favorite Comedians EVER, I could listen to him for hours. He has the best timing and is Great at telling a story. His voice is Soothing. He's Awesome!!!

Found him on Netflix comedy special and have been checking out everything I can find on him. Best comedian out there right now. Proof you can be funny without cursing every other word.
I just love him so much. We saw him live in Tampa, Florida and he was brilliant! You Tube Nate Bargatze on Saturday night live, it was hysterical 🤣

I had the pleasure of seeing him live and I met him afterwards at the show he is a fantastic person and it shows in his comedy this is not a façade he’s just the real deal really enjoyed being with him that day

This set had such a natural progression. First time watching him & I am really impressed.
Haha, same. I controlled and kept track of our expenses for the last twenty years. He was ok with it since he knew he was horrible of keeping track of spend, receive and pay. Because he and I naturally fell into our roles, we got three cars paid off, college loans paid off, our first house and rebuilt our credit, and so much more.
He is totally different now. It is now equal and balanced when discussing finances and we are starting to budget, plan, and spend monies on a balanced platform.
Sometimes a spouse needs a partner to push and encourage them to stick to goals, no matter what they feel like at the moment.

Met Nate at his show a few months ago. He is such a nice/genuine dude.
This is the classic Nate Bargatze clip. Perfect NB jokes, perfect delivery all the way through. Perfect Tennessee accent goes without saying.
Just discovered him in Jan '24. Where have I been! He is great. Have told everyone to listen to him.
Not sure why but his style just really grows on you... the more you watch of him the funnier he gets... reminds me when I started watching the Office, you just have to learn the pace of the jokes and once you do, it really does become must watch tv.
Stand up has got to be the hardest occupation. It’s hard to make people laugh out loud. I laughed out loud with this guy the whole time.

It's been over 20 years since I had a baby and it was exactly like that back then, I can't even imagine how much more intense they are about it now. Just a constant voice piped into the maternity ward repeating "don't shake the baby."

Nate is the comic I genuinely aspire to be like. Not to copy his style but the way his jokes do the talking and he doesn’t need anything extra, also his humor can relate to anyone.

My sister has a 2-year-old and I remember her telling me how much they emphasized not shaking the baby. I didn’t realize it was a universal experience lmao
My son had long periods of crying as a newborn (docs couldn't figure it out) but I never had the urge to shake him. The worst I would do is cry too 😅
I went to preview a college in Texas, this was 2002. They had billboards saying "Never, never shake a baby" and "Shaking babies shatters lives." I was like what is going on in this place? They even had billboards in Spanish.
We had to watch a video about it before we could leave with my son. :D
My brother's best friend went to prison for shaking his baby because the baby suffered severe brain damage. They went into the army together but his friend got married quickly at 19 and had a baby the next year. The stress of the military, marriage and parenting in such a short period at such a young age was too much for him and he snapped when the baby wouldn't stop crying. It used to be a huge issue with young fathers so they had to start doing PSAs and training for it.

I've never seen Nate Bargatze this young. I was watching him and thinking, wow, his delivery really reminds me of Nate Bargatze! 🤣 He is hilarious and has aged very well.
He's FUNNY! I remember, birthing my son. He made this high-pitched screech, like a pissed off bird of prey. I thought he was broken, and I tried to hand him back to the doctor. The doc just put his hands up, palms forward, like "Not my problem, lady. He's yours now".
When my best friend had her first child, she called me up and asked, "How do you keep from throwing them out the window?". WALKS, lots of walks...
I like this relaxed style of comedy, it comes off as effortless and it’s easy to watch 👍

I discovered this comedian here in Montreal and has been a fan ever since. The thing that made me laugh so much was him hypothetically making a time-travel to the past and how not credible would he be about coming from the future when trying to explain the Internet satellites and how the wi-fi works with mobile phone to the people s XD.
I have liked this fella for many years. I first heard him on Raw Dog Comedy but it was more his voice that I liked. He has the perfect voice and personality for stand up. Same thing with David Brenner when I first heard him talk about his father it struck a chord and I got all emotional. Hahaha! David will always be one of my favorite comedians. R.I.P. D.B.
