@@b-radg916idk, I think it depends on the person. What's funny about THIS MAN is his deadpan humored and calm demeanor, expressing clever observations that are, in retrospect, very obvious and true.
Another comic may be absolutely HILARIOUS just walking back and forth on stage, yelling "GOD.... DAMN!!!"
I think the true mark of success in comedy is understanding yourself, your image, and how you come across. And utilizing that knowledge to enhance your own comedic nature. For some, that's being calm and deadpan, for some that's boisterous cursing. But I don't think this dude's would be funny at all if he paced back and forth shouting curse words. You know?

Nate is one of those comics who jokes around about being dumb. Nate has a nice wife named Laura who says that Nate is actually very smart. He's gotta be smart to write so many funny jokes.

I love Nate. But funny to see all the "see, you don't need to use foul language .." comments. Makes me sad to think of the transcendent comedy these people miss.

His Walmart joke reminded me of the lady recently threatening people with a knife in a Walmart and ultimately getting tased by the cops. People shopping all around the situation, completely nonchalant
