The kids were snotting and coughing all week so I’m sure it came from them lol. If it was the “situation” I’m not impressed lol. I’ve had much worse also fail to kill me 😂
Would it be possible to purchase a template if your BOL. With our your logo and business info of course. Then I can add my logo and info to it. Love for format.
Something as simple as a page BOL could be done yourself for free. I just drew mine out on Microsoft word and print as many as I need whenever I want. If you don’t have access to any type of editing software then I’d honestly just hit up any local printing shop. I wouldn’t necessarily look for a major printing brand to make something like this. You’ll overpay big time. 👍
Thanks bud this 3 part series helped I haul cars but I dont get to see this part and I'm fixing to to kick that foor open and try to do my own thing . You are out of Texas aren't you I'm around the ft.worth area I might need to hit you up from time to time what's the best way to reack you
I was dispatched on a load that wasn't really a load it was an empty trailer with no bill of lading but the specifications on the Eld said commodity Freight.. doesn't it seem that dot would require some sort of bill of lading for a loaded call even if you're dispatched to deliver an empty trailer.. don't they want specifics on what's in the trailer?
That’s a good question. Technically the trailer is covered under trailer interchange instead of cargo on the insurance. I’d always just notate trailer relocation on my logs if it were empty 👍
How long should you hold on to pictures of your load after delivered? Incase they try and say something later, how long is a reasonable time to hold on to those pics
Great info question tho I thought when you go to the "shipper" they give you the BOL on what you are picking up? Also when you deliver the load do you have them sign the BOL papers and then you keep them because I thought you would then give them to whoever you deliver your load to "receiver" sorry the paperwork confuses me and I'm talking about if you went to a warehouse to pickup a load then went to another warehouse to deliver it in that case they will or should give me the BOL for load correct?
They’re having a hard time getting any inventory because of the chip shortage on the fords and now Ram has a recall and can’t fix them because parts are back ordered.
Pictures aren't 100 videos are. I would video each vehicle or freight and upload to a private UA-cam Channel so you always have the footage. Pick up, inspection, transport, delivery, walk around. Cover your ass always.
@@LoadMizer one of his vlogs accidentally posted his phone number and called him telling him so, guess he wasn't editing then 🙄. He immediately took it down... blamed it on Lita of course. So tell me, what kinda rates do cars pay?
Haha yeah I can understand that for sure. Depends on a lot of factors but I’ve been consistently rolling around with high 90’s up to about 1.50 per mile each for a while now. Depends on a lot of things but as long as we keep the trailer full we’ve been turning a decent profit 👍
I apologize ahead of time for the random sniffling in this video, I was just getting over being a little under the weather. 🤧
the "situation"? LOL
Another good explanation, as expected.
Wow complaints for 5-6 miles.
Thanks for this information, I will be making my BOL changes to accommodate some of these good information

Nice BOL layout! Well thought out, and not drowning in fine print.
Helps keep people honest on both ends lol
Great information--thanks for these pointers
Educational video bro🙏
Good info
Great video! Thanks!!! As the driver and carrier do you keep a copy of the BOL for your records?
Most definitely.
@@LoadMizer awesome thank you for the reply and being very informative 💯
Good video 👍🏾
Thank you 👍👍

Rate con. Rate confirmation.
Thank you for these videos! Is it possible for me to buy the template you've created?

Good deal man. I’m based out of Kentucky though.
Where did you get your format for your bill of lading?
I combined a BOL and an inspection sheet from a couple of companies that had me use theirs.

I hold everything for 90 days.

@@LoadMizer nice and thanks lol
I found it thanks
@@LoadMizer Thank you so much for this!!! You have been so helpful! God bless!!!!
What do you think about doing BOL thru an app? Is paper better?
I’m just used to paper lol. I keep hard copy backups on file but everything is also scanned and saved digitally too 👍
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS BOL FROM? DO YOU HAVE A LINK?
Are you still using enterprise rental?
I sure am 👍
@@LoadMizer i. Called them recently and enterprise said they had no trucks available...do you know anything about that?
They’re having a hard time getting any inventory because of the chip shortage on the fords and now Ram has a recall and can’t fix them because parts are back ordered.
Why do you have paper bols when most places have a app or use super dispatch where all of that is provided?
I would guess seat damage would be extremely important to note, and be damn sure you don't jump in a car with a tool in your back pocket.
Most definitely. Or dirty pants lol. The white interiors in some of these cars make me nervous

Rule of thumb...Shipper should always fill out BOL. it's a contract
Aww c'mon Ricky, you covered up your phone number? You don't want to be like Robert???
I don’t get it 🤔
